Today I had a meeting in Iwamizawa. It started at 6pm and ended just before 8pm. During the meeting, my wife sent me a message saying, "Today is Pizza Hut day!" basically hinting that I should buy some on my way home. Since I had never tried the pizza here before, I thought it was a good opportunity to visit! I stopped by Pizza Hut Iwamizawa for the first time. I usually pass by the store, but this was my first visit. The front of the store was crowded with delivery cars, so there were hardly any parking spaces for customers. I managed to find a spot to park and went inside the store. I found out that some pizzas were half price for takeout, so I chose three medium-sized pizzas that were on sale. I ordered Deluxe, Special Bulgogi, and Natural 4. Each pizza was around 1,000 yen, so the total came to just under 3,500 yen with the discount. I was surprised to learn that you could choose the thickness of the pizza crust. I opted for thin crust for all of them. I had to wait about 20 minutes for the pizzas to be ready, so I waited in the car. When the pizzas were ready, I headed home immediately. At home, my wife and I opened the boxes to eat. The pizzas were quite large, and we realized we couldn't finish them all, so we shared some with my parents who had already eaten dinner. The Deluxe and Natural 4 pizzas seemed to have a bit less cheese, but they were still tasty. The Special Bulgogi pizza had a lot of toppings and was very filling. The crust was thin and had a unique texture, similar to a pie crust. We enjoyed the pizzas with some shochu and wine, but towards the end, it became a bit challenging to finish. We took a break and reheated the pizzas, which made a big difference in taste. Pizza is definitely better when it's hot! Overall, the pizzas were delicious, but they were quite expensive. I would only buy them again if they were on sale. It seems you can also order for takeout using your smartphone, so I'll try that next time to avoid waiting. It was a tasty meal!
