Today, I visited a ramen shop in Korien. This shop is known for its soy sauce ramen made with soy sauce from Shodoshima, and most people were ordering the soy sauce ramen. However, I don't like doing the same thing as everyone else, so I decided to order the miso ramen, which is a curveball choice. I also wanted to order the kimchi rice bowl, but I've been eating too much lately, so I opted for a small portion of rice and kimchi separately. Here's what I ordered today: Aged Miso Ramen - 850 yen Boiled Egg - 100 yen Small Rice - 150 yen Kimchi - 150 yen I heard that this shop is run by a family, with the daughter who trained under her father, a ramen artisan, leading the team. It's nice to hear about family-run businesses like this. The kimchi arrived first and looked delicious with its vibrant red color. Next came the aged miso ramen, which looked incredibly appetizing. The noodles were slightly soft, which turned out to be a perfect match for the miso soup. The soup itself was delicious, made from a blend of carefully selected ingredients from a long-established wholesaler in Osaka. The chashu was tender and melted in my mouth, and the minced onions added a nice texture. The rice also came with pickled mustard greens, which was a nice touch. The kimchi had a slightly sweet taste, which I really enjoyed. The boiled egg had a beautiful sunrise color when cut in half. Everything was so delicious that I couldn't help but be excited. As I left the shop, I noticed that everyone was ordering the miso ramen, so maybe it's a popular choice among regular customers. Despite saying that I don't like ordering the same thing as others, I ended up ordering the same as everyone else. (laughs)

The restaurant has one table and five counter seats, and it is a small establishment. When I arrived, there were three people waiting in line. We had to wait for over 30 minutes before getting in because there was a family with children occupying the table and four counter seats. I thought I might collapse from the heat while waiting in line. The staff were very attentive and the restaurant had a clean and pleasant atmosphere. The ramen was delicious with perfect richness and seasoning, and there was no gamey smell at all. The extra rice bowl was also amazing. I highly recommend ordering it along with the ramen. It will definitely leave you feeling very full. I would love to visit this place again when I am in the area.

Doran-san has been highly rated so I have been curious about this place for a while. Finally visited for the first time today! The miso ramen looked delicious but since it was my first time, I ordered the soy sauce ramen. The chicken broth was delicious with a rich soy sauce flavor. The soup was so clear and well-prepared that I drank it all in one go. The Suien noodles had a great texture, flavor, and just the right amount of aroma, all perfect. The chashu pork added a nice touch with its meaty flavor. I definitely have to come back to try the miso ramen! Thank you for the meal~

It's Friday night, so garlic is allowed! Raamen Danran (Korien) Garlic Stamina Spicy Raamen (nighttime only) with chicken soy sauce, extra chashu, seasoned egg, and a small bowl of rice. I declined the extra meat for stamina... The distance from Tenmado is far, so I lean more towards Suzuoni in Mitaka. I've never tried Suzuoni before though lol. They use noodles from Menya Taiho in Upper Toriba, Kyoto.

I visited the restaurant right before closing time, but they welcomed me warmly! The miso ramen was delicious!! It had ground meat in it and was similar to tantanmen. Even though it was after closing time, they accepted my request for extra rice, and I added the rice to the remaining soup and ate it. I had just finished exercising, so I was able to finish both the ramen and rice completely - even though I haven't been able to eat much lately! It was so tasty!

The miso at Danran was delicious! The miso, paired with the chewy noodles, was incredibly tasty. I recommend adding the Hokkaido butter topping for extra flavor. The blend of four types of slightly thick noodles with aged miso was a perfect match. The miso had a rich and slightly sweet taste. When the butter melts, the combination of miso and butter is unbeatable! Black pepper goes really well with it. The price remained the same, and although I hesitated a few times, the miso was really to my liking! Well done!

After leaving the hospital, I visited Dangaku for the first time. I was tempted to go for the classic Jidori Shoyu or Salt ramen, but ended up skipping them and ordering the Asari Ramen instead! While waiting for it to be prepared, I often peek into the kitchen, and I was impressed by how carefully they seemed to be making it. The Asari Ramen was light and delicious.

I enjoyed the Aomori-aged miso ramen for ¥850 and the Heta-don for ¥350 at Kouri En. The soup is made from Omi black chicken simmered in soy sauce for 6 hours. The toppings were prepared over 3 days using 4 types of ingredients from Shimane Prefecture and Shodoshima. Three types of salt were combined for the seasoning, and a blend of 4 types of miso from a long-established miso shop in Osaka was used. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I entered the restaurant at 1:48 on a regular day and saw one person leaving at 2:05. I ordered the Asari ramen with a seasoned egg for 880 yen plus an extra 100 yen for the delicious straight and chewy noodles. The soup was light with plenty of asari clams, giving it a slight dashi flavor. It seemed like the flavor had weakened a bit. I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I visited "Raamen Danran" in Koriyama to celebrate their 2nd anniversary of ramen tasting journey. I came to try their first ever rich dipping noodles, "Miso Tsukemen," available only from June 16th to 18th. Despite arriving during peak hours, I was able to enter without waiting. I quickly ordered "Miso Tsukemen" and "Extra Noodles" from the ticket machine. After a 12-minute wait, the dish arrived. - Dipping Sauce: The dipping sauce is made from a base of chicken-based soup mixed with miso, and pork belly is added to it. The miso flavor dominates, complemented by the umami of chicken and the richness of pork belly, resulting in a flavorful and rich dipping sauce. - Noodles: The noodles are medium-thick straight noodles, which are firm and chewy, perfectly matching the dipping sauce. The noodles bring out the wheat flavor and miso aroma when dipped in the sauce. - Chashu: The chashu is pork belly, which is tender and flavorful, having absorbed the miso flavor from the dipping sauce. It is easy to eat, even the fatty parts. Overall, the first-ever tsukemen from this shop in 2 years was of high quality. I look forward to seeing how this shop continues to evolve and support Neyagawa's ramen scene.

After returning home with a rental car from the car inspection shop, I went to pick up my cleaning and do some grocery shopping. On the way, I decided to have lunch at "Raamen Danran" in Kasugai Nishinomachi, Neyagawa City. This restaurant opened two years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic and has a rating of over 3.6 on Tabelog. It's a popular spot in the Kasugai area where you might even have to wait outside sometimes. I entered the restaurant alone around 1 p.m. and purchased tickets for "Local Chicken (Soy Sauce) / 750 yen" and "Special (Extra Chashu, Ajitama, Menma) / 350 yen" from the ticket machine. The counter seat at the back was available, and I was seated there. There were two female staff members in the kitchen, providing a warm and cozy atmosphere. Soon, my ramen arrived. The special topping had plenty of ingredients and looked very appetizing. The soup is made by simmering Omi black chicken for 6 hours, and the tare is prepared with 4 types of soy sauce from Shodoshima over 3 days. The soup had a balanced taste with a mix of sweetness and acidity, lacking in overpowering richness or depth but still very delicious. The noodles were flat noodles from "Teiaku" with a satisfying chewy texture, and the thinly sliced Menma added a nice touch. The chashu was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the half-boiled ajitama was also delicious. Overall, it was a very satisfying bowl of ramen, and I look forward to trying their salt and miso flavors next time.

The chicken soy sauce ramen was delicious. The soup had a mild flavor with a rich aftertaste. The finely chopped bamboo shoots were easy to eat and tasty. The best part was the char siu, which had a strong and well-seasoned flavor with just the right texture. The ramen bowl was also topped with a generous portion of flavorful char siu. I would like to try the miso ramen next time. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the ramen restaurant "Raamen Danran" in Neyagawa City, Osaka, and tried their limited-time special menu called "Mapo Ramen with Rice (small)" on March 27, 2023. The dish consisted of mapo tofu with spicy oil, sesame, and green onions served over noodles. The soup was a combination of chicken broth and mapo sauce, with a balance of spiciness and numbing sensation. The noodles were medium-thick straight noodles with a smooth texture and a firm chew. The toppings included mapo tofu, green onions, and ground sesame seeds. I also had a side of rice with pickled vegetables, which I mixed with the remaining soup after finishing the noodles, creating a delicious mapo rice dish. The next visit was on May 29, 2023, where I tried their "Garlic Stamina Spicy Ramen with Rice (small)" limited-time menu. The soup was a blend of chicken and pork broth with soy sauce, garlic, and spicy oil, giving it a rich and tangy flavor. The noodles were the same type as before, with a chewy texture and a smooth surface. The toppings included pork belly, minced meat, garlic, black pepper, and egg yolk, creating a flavorful and satisfying dish. I also enjoyed mixing the remaining soup with rice, turning it into a tasty soup rice dish. Overall, both dishes were delicious and satisfying, and I highly recommend trying them if you visit Raamen Danran.

I was drawn to visit this place by the unique charm of their Jidori (local chicken) ramen. I have never been disappointed with their Jidori-based dishes before. I usually prefer soy or salt-based ramen to fully enjoy the quality of the soup, but this time I chose miso ramen. The noodles were medium-thick, flat, and had a texture similar to udon. The miso ramen had various unique characteristics. The soup was fragrant, rich, mild, and well-balanced. When eaten with the meat miso, it enhanced the richness and depth of flavor, almost like tantanmen. However, due to the extra noodles, the soup was a bit lacking, making the overall balance of the dish a bit off. The chashu had a visually appealing charred look and a deep, flavorful, tender taste that intensified with each bite. The menma was crunchy and finely sliced, adding to the dish's deliciousness. The sweetened meat miso, akin to tantanmen, served as an excellent accent. The finely sliced white negi provided a good texture, while the green negi, though slightly overshadowed by the rich soup, added a nice touch of color. The two female staff members provided pleasant and attentive service. Overall, the miso ramen had a unique and distinctive flavor profile with great potential, so I look forward to trying their Jidori ramen next time! Be prepared for a challenging parking situation. Thank you for the meal.

I went for lunch today. It's a shop that has been featured in a certain ramen magazine and is currently a hot topic. I think I went once when it first opened. This time, I ordered clam ramen with a boiled egg topping. The appearance is a dark soy sauce broth with chopped bamboo shoots, white and green onions, and clams neatly arranged. Lately, I often see clam-based ramen, and I had the image that it is usually associated with salt ramen, which has a gentle clam and salt flavor. However, this shop's ramen is soy sauce-based with a strong soy sauce flavor, so the clam flavor is not as prominent as I thought, but it was well-balanced and enjoyable. Thank you for the meal.

Laamen Danran. A ramen shop in Kori-en. First, I was impressed by the polite and pleasant customer service of the staff. Unfortunately, the chicken soy sauce and salt flavors were sold out, but I arrived at 8:30 pm, just 30 minutes before closing, so it couldn't be helped. I decided to try the aged miso ramen instead. The miso was a blend of four types and slightly sweet. There was also butter as a topping. The noodles were medium-thick flat noodles from Kyoto's Menya Teioku. The seasoned egg topping was delicious as well. There are two parking spaces available next to the shop. Aged miso ramen 850 yen. Seasoned egg topping 100 yen. Noodle extra portion 100 yen.

In April of the 5th year of Reiwa, during lunchtime (11:00-14:30), you can enjoy a delicious ramen dish called "Jitokara Shoyu" for 750 yen. This ramen features Omi black chicken cooked for 6 hours in a tasty soup, served with noodles from the ramen shop Tae Oku and plenty of chashu. It offers a great cost performance, which is also a plus point.

I visited a place in Neyagawa that serves authentic chicken ramen! It had been a while since I last visited. I ordered the "Chicken (Salt)" ramen, which had a rich chicken flavor in the soup and straight noodles that were enjoyable to slurp. The subtle saltiness was really good. It had been a while since I last visited, but I once again realized the high level of quality!
