A cafe located near Furano Station. There are many nice cafes in the suburbs of Furano, but there are few places in the central area where you can take a break, except for the cafes in "Furano Marche". I was curious and decided to stop by. A friendly female owner greeted me with "Please take a seat wherever you like." Hmm, the atmosphere feels more like a coffee shop than a cafe. I think a different coffee shop was here before. It turns out it's a new shop that opened after "Sugiyama Coffee" moved to Naka-Furano. The menu seems to only have curry for meals, but they have a variety of homemade cakes and sweets. I asked which sweets are delicious, and the owner kindly explained the options. I was interested in the Chocolate Gateau, but since it was a hot day, I ordered the "Homemade Ice Cream Piccolo Parfait" (500 yen, all homemade sweets seem to be 500 yen each). They also mentioned a 150 yen discount when ordering a drink together, so I decided to go with the "Iced Coffee". However, they suggested trying the "Cold Brew Coffee" (600 yen), even though it wasn't on the menu. "I'll make it with all my effort, so please wait a moment," they said. The Homemade Ice Cream Piccolo Parfait was served in a small glass, as "Piccolo" means "small". It was a smaller-sized parfait, which seemed suitable for a quick break. The homemade ice cream was light with a slight texture, making it easy to eat in the heat. Toppings included whipped cream, berries, granola, and chocolate sauce. The Cold Brew Coffee, made with beans from the previous "Sugiyama Coffee", had a pleasant flavor with a balanced bitterness. Although different from trendy suburban cafes, this place offers a calm coffee time experience.

Located about a 3-minute walk from Furano Station, next to a striking red sign for Torisei, this place used to be Sugiyama Coffee Shop. The interior has an old-fashioned feel, and I wonder if regulars sit at the counter. I prefer to sit quietly by the window. I ordered the apple compote and ice cream for 500 yen, as well as the Brazil Chocolat for 580 yen. Today's sweets come with a 150 yen discount when ordered with a drink, which seems like a good deal. The Brazil Chocolat is a type with low acidity and not too strong bitterness, quite delicious. Personally, I prefer a bit more acidity, but I'm starting to like this type of chocolate too. I like how it leaves a light fragrance in the aftertaste. The sweets consist of thinly sliced compote layered on top of ice cream. I wish the compote was a bit sweeter, and the ice cream had a smoother texture. The only food option is "Our Home Curry," which comes with a 300 yen discount when ordered with a drink. It seems like a coffee shop where locals come for a quick break. Thank you for the meal.

Curry set for 1,300 yen. I enjoyed a cup of cold brew coffee while waiting for my beef tendon curry plate. It arrived in just a few minutes. I started with the salad on the plate and then moved on to the classic beef tendon curry. The atmosphere with the effective air conditioning made time fly by. The local store support coupon, with 10 sets per household, was used up in less than a month. I want to buy more, but I don't like unfairness.

This is a branch with just the right start from cold brew coffee. Furano, which has cooled down, is enjoying ice cream. I savor the beef tendon curry. It is mild and gentle on the stomach, without feeling heavy after eating. A space to relax in, with a focus on solo diners. Enjoying the counter seating. The non-smoking environment is appreciated.

It's hot, over 30 degrees Celsius, with strong sunlight and clear air in the basin, so there are few shops with air conditioning. To cool off, try the iced coffee or cold brew coffee, but they sell out quickly, so get it early. The curry set for 1,300 yen warms you up, and many female customers find comfort in the air-conditioned space. It's popular during lunchtime. After finishing the curry (beef tendon), enjoy a second cup of cold brew coffee for 600 yen. This restaurant, often visited by tourists, offers a relaxing atmosphere with a view of the mountains. Use a local store support coupon for a total bill of 2,500 yen. A comfortable afternoon with coffee is highly recommended. I wonder if I'm having too much caffeine, as I've never used coffee to wake myself up.

The manager greeted me with a first-time encounter, serving my home curry set with cold brew coffee as a starter. I tried an iced coffee for the first time and received a 500 yen coupon for supporting Furano. The 13 coupons mistakenly became 10 coupons worth 650 yen, so I used 3 coupons along with 300 yen in cash to settle the 1,800 yen bill for two curry sets. I enjoyed the hot summer with the curry set and a side of pickled cucumber, served separately in a small dish. Here is an image of me eating cabbage in the middle of the meal. No offense intended.

Cold brew coffee served first while waiting for our homemade curry! Our home curry, which was renewed this summer, aims to recreate a classic version by pursuing the best ingredients. The salad and pickled cucumber on the same plate as the sunny-side-up egg complement the refreshing curry well. Unfortunately, you cannot request a second serving of the curry roux, but the strong coffee is excellent. If the cold brew coffee is sold out, try the iced coffee. Enjoy the fleeting summer flavors before the arrival of early autumn.

My Home Curry set was priced at 1,300 yen, which included the curry and a slightly complicated salad with cucumber, making it a good deal. After enjoying the meal, I relaxed with a cup of coffee and friendly service. The time passed leisurely as I savored the flavors of each season, starting from summer. I heard that My Home Curry will be renewed, so I plan to come back on Saturday to try it!

We enjoyed Furano on a family trip and before heading back to Yokohama, we had delicious coffee. We relaxed at a table next to the counter where locals hang out, enjoying the harmonious atmosphere with nature-themed wooden decor. As we healed our travel fatigue, our family conversation flowed. Talking with the experienced master, we understood the high quality of the coffee and the store. Apparently, it can also be enjoyed as an izakaya at night, so I look forward to interacting with the locals next time I visit.

After a month of absence due to heavy snow and a cold wave the next day causing some issues, I visited the cafe for the first time this year. I enjoyed a hot coffee chocolate tart made with curry and ice coffee beans, and a second cup of hot coffee with a strong dose of caffeine. I plan to visit again around January 12th, but I forgot to check the cafe's holiday schedule. I'll check their Facebook page for that. I've visited the cafe about 25 times last year, let's see how many times I can visit this year. Also, please check out my reviews on Tabelog.

Desserts conquered, ice coffee, hot coffee, and curry to finish - that's our go-to at this restaurant.

Finally, the weather in Furano has cooled down and it's perfect for enjoying warm coffee. Our last meal at home was curry with iced coffee, a combination that satisfies the craving for bitterness. Until the snow piles up, it's all about iced coffee! Once the indoor heating is on, it's still iced coffee for us! We can switch to hot coffee once the new year begins, right?

The curry set was served first, followed by cold brew coffee. Even in the cooler weather of Furano, I still desired a cold coffee for my last cup. They mentioned that tomorrow would be an iced coffee day. It only took 10 minutes for the beef tendon curry to arrive. Next time, I will request the new beef tendon curry that will be available in two weeks. The curry continues to evolve, and today it was a delicious beef tendon curry with a strong aroma of spices.

It's hot. Thankfully, no damage from the typhoon. Enjoying cold brew coffee and beef tendon curry. The lingering summer heat makes me wonder when the snow will come. Maybe it's better to think about moving to a place with a lot of snow in half a century. Chatting with the owner, who seems to be around the same age.

Cold brew coffee may be ending soon depending on the temperature. Probably until the end of September due to the lingering summer heat. The classic set for 1,300 yen includes cold brew coffee and a beef tendon curry plate brunch, offering a nice balance. The temperature dropped yesterday, but it's back to summer heat today. The weather is abnormal.

Late summer? I went to a cafe with cool air conditioning, ordered the usual curry set with a side of water drip coffee to start. Soon after, the beef tendon curry arrived! We discussed curry variations and how our home curry is evolving. Our home curry is becoming more like Shimozono Coffee's curry, which we can't eat at home. After eating, I had another cup of water drip coffee. It's a relaxing place for a midday break, with a nostalgic Showa era atmosphere and conversations about middle age continuing.

I am drawn to the owner's personality, so during the day it's coffee, and at night it's my second home. I have taken over a coffee shop and am excited to add my own touch. I will quietly support them from the shadows.

It's been a while since I had curry, but the taste remains unchanged. The cut cabbage was just the right amount, and I was satisfied with the slightly spicy flavor. I had a lemon soda float after the meal. It may not look fancy, but it was a comforting way to end the meal. The taste was pleasant, and I left feeling happy.

From the 2021 New Year's visit curry set (blend) to the dessert (deep blend), it feels like a social gathering place for adults. Time flies by quickly because the atmosphere is so comfortable.

I visited a quiet place in Furano to borrow their Wi-Fi. It's a cozy season with delicious hot drinks and a stove burning. It's drizzling outside, and I wonder if it will snow on the weekend!
