I visited after a long time and the restaurant was even busier than before. People always gather at delicious places. The summer specialty, hamo shabu-shabu, was very delicious with a nice amount of fat. The persimmon salad was also very tasty. Whenever I see bonito tataki on the menu, I can't help but order it, but after experiencing the ones in Kochi and Iwaki, I can't be satisfied elsewhere. It's better to save the enjoyment of bonito for the seaside in Kochi or Iwaki. At Asai-san, the food is wonderful, you can enter even after 10pm, enjoy a la carte, and the staff provides great hospitality. Whenever I come to Osaka, I will definitely visit. Please continue to provide delicious food and a cozy atmosphere in the future!

It's almost Matsutake mushroom season. I assumed they would have it, but they didn't today. I had asked them to prepare some when I made a reservation over the phone, but it seems they forgot. The 12-kilo thin-sliced fish was delicious... not outstanding, but still tasty. They have a wide variety of menu options. As for souvenirs, I got the usual katsu sandwich...

I love the izakaya "Hamo" so much. Their sashimi, horse meat sashimi, and grilled salted nodoguro are always great choices. There's no way you can go wrong with their dishes. The grilled salted nodoguro is a must-try! They also serve meat dishes, but I recommend the fish dishes more. It always seems busy there, so making a reservation is a must.

When you can't decide what to eat, just go to Asai-san. I always say, "I don't know what I want to eat," but the food is always delicious and satisfying. I always end up eating too much and can't finish it all, but I have no regrets because I just eat what I like on instinct. I will definitely visit again.

This is a shop I have visited many times, and each time is just as good. It's wonderful to be able to enjoy seasonal dishes according to the time of year. The simmered bamboo shoots seemed ordinary, but the lightly seasoned flavor was excellent. I originally wanted to try boiled firefly squid, but they only had it for shabu-shabu. Nevertheless, it was delicious.

It was my first visit! I was surprised by the number of staff and the variety of the menu. I enjoyed kaiseki cuisine from the appetizer to the main dish. I want to come back to try all the menu items! I was so focused on eating that I forgot to take pictures... I'll make sure to take lots of photos next time!

I was very satisfied with Asai-san again this time (*´∇`*). I made a same-day reservation, but I was lucky to get in right when they opened. It's no wonder that regular customers keep coming one after another! Today, I tried various recommended dishes one after another (*⁰▿⁰*). Even though it was à la carte and the seats were full, the service was extremely fast, and I was truly satisfied. I was so full until the next day, so my family enjoyed the bento the following day (*゚∀゚*) Thank you for the delicious meal.

This is a izakaya at Nagahori Bridge where you can enjoy a variety of dishes. They offer seasonal specialties from different regions. The dishes are small but delicious. However, since the prices are not listed, I hesitated to order any high-end ingredients. The alcohol starts from around 1600 yen for a wine glass, so it's quite pricey. The atmosphere is nice and the food is delicious, so overall it was a good experience.

(Visit in early February 2023) It was a weekday evening. I visit Fukushima (Osaka) for work around this time every year. It was my second night in Osaka. On this day, I visited this restaurant for a dinner meeting with clients. It's been 40 years since I last visited Shinsaibashi. We opted for the kaiseki course, where the menu is determined based on the ingredients available that day. The restaurant has a relatively casual atmosphere, and the prices seem reasonable. We started with an Amber Ebisu beer, followed by the classic highball. The meal consisted of appetizers, sashimi, kasujiru (sake lees soup), small dishes, grilled dishes, simmered dishes, tempura, more small dishes, rice dishes, and dessert. The variety of dishes filled us up completely. The staff explained each dish to us in detail, but I have forgotten everything... What stood out to me was the incredibly fresh and flavorful sashimi, as well as the kasujiru. It had been years since I last had kasujiru. When I was a child living in Kansai, we occasionally had it for dinner because sake lees were cheaply available, but I struggled with its strong smell and tried to avoid it... However, the kasujiru at this restaurant was completely different - it was gentle, rich, and full of umami. How did they manage to create such a broth? Overall, the restaurant offers dishes that are not overly luxurious but are carefully prepared with familiar ingredients, giving off a sense of sophistication.

Yes, it was amazing! I had heard that the food was delicious, so even though I couldn't choose from the large menu, I decided to go with the "Raku" course for 18,700 yen. I couldn't decide on one dish to choose from the menu, so I ended up adding a lot of extra dishes. Everything I tried was delicious and had generous portions! The food was so good that I couldn't stop eating, especially the dessert at the end was surprisingly delicious. I loved the warabi mochi and pudding so much that I wanted to buy some to take home. I was too greedy on my first visit and ended up feeling like my stomach would burst the next day, so next time I want to try ordering a la carte.

Mr. Asai, the seasonal atmosphere is beautifully presented, the detailed response is refreshing, and the movements are brisk and pleasant. The food allowed me to have a luxurious time. The warabi mochi is exquisite. Once you try it, you become a big fan, haha. Thank you for the delicious meal ✨.

I don't know the meaning of "Osaka cuisine," but it's a delicious restaurant. This time, I indulged in crab, which was sliced and lightly simmered, and it was delicious with the perfect texture. The grilled fish was sea bream. It was delicious and firm, but I preferred the simmered version I had before. It's a bit confusing when they bring the fork and spoon for eating the crab after the dishes are served, but overall, it's a great place to eat.

The Japanese restaurant on the first floor of the leisure building offers a variety of basic dishes such as fish and meat, using seasonal ingredients from various regions. The presentation is beautiful, the tableware and seasoning are wonderful, making it a great place for entertaining. When I ordered a bottled beer, it came in a thin glass. There were about 6 or 7 people working behind the counter, each handling a different task, creating a lively atmosphere. The chefs behind the counter were friendly and attentive. One thing to note is that prices are not displayed for items other than drinks and courses, so it's best to go for a light meal or use it as a second stop after eating elsewhere. Otherwise, ordering a lot can add up in cost.

Due to the season, we had a year-end party in a private room at Osaka cuisine Asai-san! Although I have been living in Osaka for many years, it was my first time trying Osaka cuisine! The menu changes daily and there are so many options that it was hard to choose. They also offer course meals, but we decided to order a la carte on the day. We were recommended the Matsuba crab, so we had it boiled. In addition, we had a sashimi platter, blowfish shirako grilled, wagyu beef sirloin steak, seafood gratin, lotus root manju, and sea bream rice cooked in a pot. Everything was of high quality and we were very satisfied. Considering we also had drinks, the fact that it was around 20,000 yen per person felt like a great deal!

After leaving Kyocera Dome, I took the metro to Nagahoribashi and visited a Japanese restaurant. The restaurant has a long counter seat and tables in the back, creating a lively but not noisy atmosphere. The food served is a mix between izakaya and kaiseki, and while it is quite tasty, it doesn't stand out. The staff are all young, which makes me, a man in his 50s, feel like the younger generation is working hard.

I wanted to eat something delicious, so I decided to go to Asai in Shinsaibashi. The quality of the ingredients was as great as ever, and the variety of dishes they offer is amazing! This is a great restaurant for food lovers.

One of my favorite restaurants in Osaka is Asai-san, and I went there with my friends. What I love about this place is the wide variety of menu options, making it hard to choose. The sashimi platter was fresh and each piece of fish was delicious. I always order the lotus root manju, which is delicately presented. There are plenty of different types of sake available, and the menu has dishes that pair well with the alcohol. The restaurant is open late, making it a great choice for a second or third stop of the night.

It's been a while since I visited this place. This restaurant is definitely a must-visit for me four times a year, in every season. This time, I ordered a la carte as usual. The hairy crab and sea urchin were amazing. The grilled young sweetfish with salt was incredibly delicious. Lastly, the bracken rice cake was also impressively tasty.

I apologize for posting a series of reviews out of order. There are still plenty of opportunities to eat snow crab before the end of the year, right? I had a serious business meeting with a snow crab-loving friend in Minami that day. It went a bit long, so we decided to grab a light meal before heading home. "Let's have snow crab!" she suggested. But you had snow crab at Matsumoto the other day, didn't you? I thought. We looked for a traditional Japanese restaurant in Minami where we might find snow crab... and we found one available that day. Even though it was the second seating, and the nighttime butterflies were probably already working, I called just in case. They said they had a table available, so we were able to enjoy some snow crab. I wasn't very hungry, so I had a little bit of snow crab and sashimi with some sake. My snow crab-loving friend, on the other hand, enjoyed some hearty Japanese-style croquettes and gratin. Personally, I prefer Asai over Higashi-Mukai. It's not a cheap restaurant, but the variety of the menu and the ability to satisfy everyone's preferences make it a good choice.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. It is said to be a famous place (although I was not aware of it). I was taken there by someone else. The restaurant didn't really give off a traditional "kaiseki" vibe in my opinion, but the food was quite delicious. However, personally, it's not the type of place I would normally choose to go to.
