Order:
- Light soy sauce ramen 850 yen
- Extra noodles 150 yen
- Wasabi rice to finish 250 yen
- Seafood oil tsukemen (with mini rice to finish) 900 yen
We arrived just after the opening time, so there was no wait and we were seated immediately. The interior was a small space with only an L-shaped counter seating for 6 people on this day. There were 3 customers before us, and with us and another solo customer, it quickly became full. Later customers had to wait outside, and when we left, there was a long line waiting outside.
The light soy sauce ramen had thin straight noodles. The soup was a clear soy sauce broth that really brought out the umami of the soy sauce, and it was surprisingly delicious. I was so impressed by the deliciousness that I wanted to come back if there was a shop nearby! I added extra noodles and finished every drop of the soup, and the wasabi rice was a great addition to complete the meal.
The seafood oil tsukemen had thick flat noodles with a firm texture that left a lasting impression. The sauce looked like a typical soy sauce-based one with fish powder, so I thought it might be a bit sweet, but it was actually well-balanced with the clam flavor and oil, creating a addictive taste! I usually don't like mixed noodles or oil-based noodles that are spicy or sweet, but this was the first time in a while that I found them delicious!
The service was also very friendly and attentive, making the overall experience very pleasant.

A hidden gem in Osaka with always bustling and lively atmosphere. I ordered the seasonal special "Ginger-infused pork broth soy sauce ramen" which has a spicy soy sauce base mixed with ginger, paired with chewy hand-kneaded noodles. The soy sauce flavor really stands out. A dish that exudes great taste and creativity! The rice bowl with a seasoned soft-boiled egg is also delicious with flavorful chunks of meat and tasty sauce.

I went to MARCO, which I had on my list to visit because it was highly rated. When I arrived right at opening time, there was only a small line with about two groups of customers. I went with my girlfriend and we ordered the "Rich Soy Sauce Ramen" and the "Seafood Oil Soba". I had the oil soba and shared a little of the soy sauce ramen with her. The oil soba had a flavorful seafood taste and didn't feel too heavy despite its volume. Finally, I mixed the remaining soup with rice and added some kelp vinegar. The taste was well-balanced and delicious, but personally, I prefer the oil soba (with plum kelp vinegar) from another restaurant. The soy sauce ramen had a well-rounded and completed flavor, especially the chicken breast chashu was deliciously prepared.

This is a small restaurant with only about 7 counter seats. It was around 12:50 and it was full! The turnover seems to be fast, so you don't have to wait too long. The soup was delicious from the first sip. Rich... The combination of this salty taste and the richness of the chicken is amazing! I could just keep going on with just the soup forever because I love the taste so much! The chashu was also delicious, but what surprised me the most was the baby corn! It was seasoned with a little soy sauce and grilled, and it goes so well with the salty ramen... I almost wanted to order more toppings (,,•﹏•,,) I was already full, but I couldn't resist wanting to savor this soup until the end, so I ended up ordering the cheese as a topping for the closing rice... You can choose the flavor of the rice, but I ordered the rich cheese, and it was a match made in heaven... It was a supreme closing rice dish, different from cheese risotto... Before I knew it, all the soup was gone (∩ˊ꒳ˋ∩) I want to try other dishes, so I will definitely come back!!! Thank you for the meal!

"Ramen MARCO" Cold Shoyu Ramen with Shichimi Togarashi and Mini Tororo Chazuke. I heard that they usually sell out of the cold ramen by lunchtime, but there were still 12 bowls left at night. The rich and creamy mixed soup of seafood and clear broth perfectly coated the noodles, creating an amazing combination. The Shichimi Togarashi and Tororo were a perfect match, stimulating the senses and reaching a level of excitement. The mini Tororo chazuke was also delicious, especially when mixed with the soup. Location: 1-18-15 Shimizu, Asahi-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. Only 23 meters from Senbayashi Station. Business hours: 11:00-15:00 (Last order 14:45), 18:00-22:00 (Last order 21:45). Closed on the 2nd Monday and Sundays. Order: Cold Shoyu Ramen 900 yen, Shichimi Togarashi 100 yen, Mini Tororo Chazuke 100 yen. Total: 1,100 yen.

Please top it with char siu. It's described as rich, but the flavor was very gentle. Extremely delicious!! If the restaurant were near my house, I would want to go all the time because it's so delicious. The cheese on the final rice dish is a must. I felt like I could eat as much as I wanted. The service was really good.

I arrived at the restaurant around 7 pm on Saturday. There were 4 customers already seated and 2 more came in after me. I ordered the light salt ramen, which had a soup with a subtle saltiness, more like a broth-based type. Personally, I prefer my salt ramen to have a bit more saltiness to it, but the standout of the dish was the three types of chashu. The chicken chashu was tender, and the pork rare chashu had a rich umami flavor that was delicious. If I have the chance to come back, I might try the soy sauce ramen next time. Thank you for the meal.

I visited "Ramen MARCO" in Asahi Ward, Osaka City. It is located just to the right after exiting Chisen Station on the Keihan Main Line, under the elevated tracks. The interior has a spacious kitchen area and 7 L-shaped counter seats. When I visited on a Wednesday before 9 pm, there were 3 other customers. The owner's energetic and loud voice was surprising at first, but it became quite pleasant. They offer a light soy sauce ramen for 850 yen, and I also ordered a boiled egg for an additional 100 yen. The beautifully presented bowl had a gradient of purple kaiware and nicely charred young corn. The soup, dominated by the strong flavor of charred green onions, was surprisingly rich and bitter despite being labeled as "light." The thin noodles had a delicate texture with a good bite and a smooth finish. The toppings included flavorful slices of pork shoulder, tender chicken breast, a rich marinated egg, charred young corn, purple kaiware, and garnished with green onions. Even without the optional egg, the standard bowl was already luxurious. Thank you for the delicious meal!

For lunch on this day, I went to "MARCO" in Senbayashi. I had the support lunch at a restaurant that is still operating despite the pandemic. I tried the "Fish Oil Abura Soba" at the ramen shop MARCO located behind Keihan Senbayashi Station. I ordered extra noodles and they also come with free rice at the end. The "Fish Oil Abura Soba" here at MARCO is a brothless noodle dish. It uses thick straight noodles with toppings such as diced pork chashu, diced chicken chashu, seasoned minced meat, minced onions, green onions, chopped seaweed, bonito flakes powder, and a raw egg yolk in the middle. I mixed it well before eating! The chewy thick noodles and toppings blended together perfectly to create a delicious abura soba. I added some kombu vinegar halfway through for extra flavor! And finally, I dove into the rice sprinkled with fish powder at the end! It was another satisfying abura soba experience. The Fish Oil Abura Soba was so delicious~~~

I regularly visit my favorite shop! I ordered the limited quantity "Back Fat Shoyu" with rare pork shoulder loin chashu topping. The aroma that fills the air when it arrives is amazing. The shoyu sauce has a strong depth in the rich soup, and the straight noodles have a nice firmness. The meat is also outstanding! Oh man, it's delicious. A must-try bowl right now! ✨

On my day off, I went to MARCO ramen shop in Senbayashi for lunch. I ordered the chicken white broth ramen with rich soy sauce. The toppings included red cabbage sprouts, baby corn, green onions, charred garlic, chicken rare chashu, and two slices of chashu. The chicken rare chashu was moist and delicious, and the baby corn was slightly grilled, adding a nice flavor to the soup. The straight thin noodles had a smooth texture and coated well with the soup. The atmosphere of the shop was stylish, and it got quite busy while I was eating, with a line of six people waiting by the end. It's definitely a popular spot!

Visited my favorite restaurant after a long time! This time, I ordered the Seabura Kire Shoyu Ramen for 900 yen and the Aburi Buta Bara Ontama Don for 350 yen. The Seabura Kire Shoyu Ramen had a rich broth with plenty of back fat and chewy medium noodles - it was amazing. The Aburi Buta Bara Ontama Don also had a rich flavor with a perfect combination of creamy egg and pork belly - it was delicious!

Lunch today was at "MARCO" in Senbayashi. It was a support lunch for a restaurant that is still operating despite the pandemic. I had the "Fish Oil Abura Soba" at the ramen shop "MARCO" located behind Keihan Senbayashi Station. I ordered extra noodles and got free rice as a finishing touch. The Abura Soba here at "MARCO" is made with thick and chewy noodles. On top of the noodles, there are diced pork chashu, diced chicken chashu, seasoned minced meat, minced onions, green onions, chopped seaweed, bonito flakes, and a raw egg yolk in the middle. It may not be spicy enough for those who like their Abura Soba with a kick of spiciness since it lacks chili peppers. This Abura Soba has become one of my favorite mixed noodles. I finished by diving into the rice and enjoyed every bit of it. It's so nice that they sprinkle fish broth and fish powder on the finishing rice! The Fish Oil Abura Soba was incredibly delicious!

Yes, it's ramen time! "Ginger-infused Pork Back Fat Shoyu (Limited Edition) for 950 yen" at "Ramen MARCO". Located near the bustling and friendly neighborhood of Senbayashi in Osaka, which was once known as the "cheapest shopping street in Japan", is Ramen MARCO. It had been a while since my last visit due to a hernia, so it had been a week since I last visited a ramen shop. Usually, there is a long line outside, but this time I was lucky to get in without waiting. I sat at the counter in the back. I ordered the limited edition "Ginger-infused Pork Back Fat Shoyu" which was advertised at the entrance. The couple running the shop had a great teamwork, and I was impressed. The bowl arrived - the soup was amber-colored with plenty of back fat. In the center, there were vibrant green onions and ginger paste. It looked delicious! I took a sip of the soup - it was so delicious! The regular shoyu base with Yusa soy sauce, the crispness of the back fat, and the aroma of ginger. It's almost cheating how good it is! The noodles were hand-kneaded and had a great texture. The toppings were hidden by the back fat and green onions, but inside the soup were chicken and pork chashu, as well as MARCO's trademark young corn! I didn't expect it to be there, so when I found it, I couldn't help but make a small victory pose (laughs). It was so delicious, I finished every last bit. As always, the taste and service at this shop are truly outstanding! It had been a week since my last ramen, and I was unsure where to go, but I'm glad I chose to visit MARCO! Thank you for the meal.

Today, I visited "MARCO" near Senbayashi Station on the Keihan Kyoto Line for my second stop. I ordered their default "Light Soy Sauce Ramen". The soup had a combination of seafood and chicken flavors with a soy sauce base. The noodles were straight and had a good firm texture. Toppings included chicken and pork chashu, chopped green onions, bean sprouts, and baby corn. They also offer a variety of flavored rice dishes to finish your meal, so I tried the "Spicy Cod Roe Rice". I left the restaurant feeling satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

For lunch on this day, I went to "Ramen MARCO" in Senbayashi. It was a support lunch for a restaurant that is still operating despite the pandemic. I tried the "Back Fat Sharp Soy Sauce" with a seasoned egg topping. The soup is a clear chicken broth base with soy sauce seasoning that has an extra sharp flavor. There was plenty of pork back fat floating on the surface of the soup. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles, topped with seasoned egg, a mountain of green onions, young corn, thick slices of rare chicken ham, thick slices of pork belly chashu, and sprinkled with coarse ground black pepper on top of the green onions. This ramen had a rich back fat flavor and a sharp soy sauce kick. I really loved this ramen, especially with the addition of young corn. It was delicious!

I visited MARCO at Senrin for the first time! I enjoyed the Paitan Shoyu ramen for ¥900 with an extra boiled egg for ¥100. As the bowl arrived, a delicious aroma filled the air. The sharp soy sauce combined with the punch of the back fat made for a rich and satisfying broth. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Lunch for the day was at Senbayashi. It's a support lunch for a restaurant that is still open despite the coronavirus pandemic. I went to a ramen shop called "Ramen MARCO" located behind Keihan Senbayashi Station and had the "Light Soy Sauce Ramen" with a seasoned boiled egg topping. I also added a side of small rice. Last time, I had the "Rich Soy Sauce Ramen" with a clear broth, so this time I chose the "Light Soy Sauce Ramen" with a clear broth. The soup is a clear chicken broth with a strong soy sauce flavor, and the surface of the soup was covered with chicken oil. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles topped with white leeks, purple kale, slightly seared baby corn, and green onions. Additionally, the bowl was garnished with thick slices of rare chicken ham and two thin slices of rare chashu. If I were asked whether I prefer the rich soy sauce or the light soy sauce, I would say I prefer the clear broth, so I would choose the rich soy sauce. However, I think this light soy sauce ramen is also of very high quality. The attention to detail in the preparation is impressive. I placed the seasoned boiled egg on top of the rice and had it as a seasoned egg rice bowl. The light soy sauce ramen was incredibly delicious!

Yesterday's ramen was delicious! I went to a popular ramen shop in front of Senbayashi Station. I had the Light Soy Sauce Ramen for 850 yen, which came with rare chicken chashu and pink rare chashu with young corn. It was really tasty. Thank you for the meal! Today's lunch was at Senbayashi. It's a support lunch for a restaurant that is still open despite the pandemic. I had the "Rich Soy Sauce Ramen" at a ramen shop called "Ramen MARCO" located on the east side of Keihan Senbayashi Station, behind the station. I added a soft-boiled egg as a topping. I have a reason to go to Senbayashi about once a month, and eating here has become a routine for me. Lately, I've been having the "Oil Sardine Tsukemen" repeatedly, so I decided to try the ramen this time! Now, about the "Rich Soy Sauce Ramen" here: the soup is a rich chicken-based white soup mixed with strong soy sauce. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles. On top of the noodles, there were white leeks, purple kaiware radish, baby corn, green onions, and burnt leeks floating on the soup surface. Also, the rim of the bowl had thick slices of rare chicken ham and two thin slices of rare chashu. I thought this when I had the "Light Soy Sauce Ramen" before, but they really pay attention to the appearance of the ramen here. The purple kaiware radish looks amazing. And not just in appearance, I think this white soup is of a very high level. It was really delicious, the Rich Soy Sauce Ramen was so good~~~
