I went to Kimiya in Nakazakicho for dinner. It's located in Nakazakicho, but it's only a 10-minute walk from Hankyu Umeda Station. It's surprising to find a restaurant in this quiet neighborhood. Kimiya is a branch restaurant of a famous place in Nara. It used to be a strict members-only restaurant, but now it's a bit more relaxed. The interior is like a Kyoto ryotei, very luxurious! There are 24 seats available, including private rooms. I used the private room at the back on the second floor. It's spacious and luxurious. The air conditioning is nice and cool, very comfortable. For drinks, I had one glass of draft beer and one highball. For food, I had the Chateaubriand course for 25,000 yen. Including service charge and tax, it's about 30,000 yen. The course included an appetizer with three types of meat, salad, wagyu tongue, Chateaubriand steak, rice, cold noodles, and dessert. The Chateaubriand steak was amazing, served with homemade sauce, grated daikon with ponzu, and truffle salt. The rice was a blend of Kimiya's original rice, shiny and delicious. The dessert was pineapple served in a cut pineapple, ripe and sweet. The total cost was a little over 30,000 yen per person, which is reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the meat. If you're in the mood for a meat feast, I recommend Kimiya. Just go easy on lunch!

I had the opportunity to visit Kimiya Osaka Honten. The location of the restaurant seemed unlikely for a high-end yakiniku place, tucked away in a narrow alley with a discreet exterior. I was led to a private room on the second floor, and the manager served us. He explained the ingredients and how to enjoy them, ensuring the meat was cooked perfectly. The full course meal included kimchi, fried dishes, raw tongue, salad, fish, shiitake mushrooms, Matsusaka beef sirloin, ikura-topped chawanmushi, rice with meat miso, pickles, Matsusaka beef takikomi gohan with egg yolk, cold noodles, and dessert. I couldn't finish everything due to my tendency to eat less when drinking alcohol. The rare sirloin was the most delicious I've ever had. The variety of condiments allowed for different flavor experiences. The wasabi, specially sourced by the owner, was exceptional and different from any I've had before. I was too engrossed in conversation during this business dinner to remember all the manager's explanations, so I hope to visit again at a leisurely pace. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The renowned restaurant known for its wagyu beef Chateaubriand, located in Osaka, is a branch of the main store in Nara. Compared to the rustic look of the Nara store seen in the photos, the Osaka store exudes a luxurious atmosphere with excellent service and amenities. The meat, sourced from Kagoshima, is so tender that you could even eat it without teeth. The sauce was also delicious and poured like a drink.

Kimiya Osaka Honten is a yakiniku restaurant located a 6-8 minute walk from Nakazakicho Station. Known for their fork-cutting tenderloin, this restaurant is a branch of a popular yakiniku spot with reservations that are hard to come by. In 2022, they were selected as one of the top 100 yakiniku restaurants in the west. The restaurant features modern Japanese-style private rooms, creating a relaxed atmosphere with great amenities that would surely please female customers. We tried the 200g course of tenderloin and chateaubriand. While the online reservation price was 19,800 yen including tax, our final bill with a drink and 10% service charge exceeded 25,000 yen, making it a bit pricey. Comparing it to the Nara Kimiya Bekitei, where you can get a 300g tenderloin with all-you-can-drink for 19,800 yen, the value for money seems lacking. However, the quality of the meat was excellent, especially when dipped in a sweet soy sauce or paired with wasabi and rock salt. The tenderloin and the high-quality sagari were both delicious, making it a great choice for when you want to splurge on good beef. Overall, a satisfying meal!

A friend took me here for my birthday celebration. We had a private room which made it easy to relax and enjoy our meal. The meat that you tear apart with a fork was truly unique and delicious. I can't wait to go back soon before it gets too hard to make a reservation.

You were amazing in one word. The meat was delicious. The performance was enjoyable. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the journey to get there were also great. By the way, I heard that this restaurant is using the name of the one in Nara but is under different ownership. Personally, I thought the sagari was the most delicious.

The restaurant is located in a residential area a little away from Umeda. You have to be careful not to pass by it. When you enter through an approach like a Japanese restaurant, there is an intercom door. Even though I didn't say my name, I was guided to the reserved seat on the second floor. When I asked why, they said it was because our group was the only reservation at that time. I realized that not many restaurants are able to handle things so smoothly like this. All seats were private rooms. With a service that doesn't say no, they lent me an iPhone charger, called a taxi for me on the way back, gave me mints, bought cigarettes for me, and the menu. It was only a course menu, but they put effort into the presentation. The meat, advertised as "meat that can be cut with a fork," was really tender and they actually cut it with a fork. Chateaubriand. However, the portion was too much and I got tired of it halfway through. When I was about to leave some, they made a steak bowl with the remaining meat for me to take home. I really appreciated their attitude of not relying on taste or reputation, but focusing on service and what they can do. As a result, it's quite expensive though.

On this day, it was my second visit to the restaurant for the ladies' course. The meat was very delicious. I enjoyed various dishes like ikura-don on my previous visit, but this time I only remember the meat. We ordered a bottle of wine, but it came late, and all the drinks were slow to arrive, which was disappointing. The meat was delicious, but I felt the prices were somewhat high.

The first time I went to Kimiya, it had been renovated and became more beautiful. Here are the menu items: The staff will grill the meat for you. - Kimchi assortment: elegant kimchi that is not too spicy. - Special thin-sliced black wagyu tongue: lightly seared wagyu tongue. - Simple salad. - Hel from Shimane Prefecture and Chateaubriand from Fukuoka: they specialize in serving Hel, so it's a great place to enjoy it. - Kimiya's original blend rice and meat. - Cold noodles: beautifully presented and delicious. - Dessert: ice cream. The Hel meat was delicious!

A hidden gem in a slightly off-the-beaten-path location. Upon entering, the interior is truly impressive. I was blown away ✨ We tried the Tajima Manyo beef, and it was truly top quality, making my taste buds dance. The other dishes were also thoughtfully prepared and incredibly delicious. Perfect for entertaining clients or a romantic date ✨ The staff's service was also top-notch.

First time at this restaurant, felt excited even before entering. The room on the second floor was surprisingly spacious for just two people. The meat appetizers were delicious! Looking forward to more. The fatty tuna wrapped in meat was a definite hit. The salad and Chateaubriand 300g were served with various salts and grated daikon ponzu, which I personally enjoyed. The meat was of course delicious! It was nice to have hot rice after a long time. I couldn't stop eating the chawanmushi halfway through. The cold noodles for the finish were different from the usual cold noodles, more like salt ramen? I liked it! The dessert left me feeling full. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the popular meat specialty store, Kimiya, for the first time! This time, I went for lunch. It seems to be a branch of that famous Kimiya in Nara Prefecture. It was about a 10-minute walk from Umeda Station! It was located in the old town area, standing alone. I was surprised to find it here. I tried to look up the details of the menu, but I couldn't find if they are currently open for lunch. The meat was incredibly tender and delicious! We were guided to a private room, so we could enjoy our meal in a relaxed atmosphere. I would like to visit again at night! Thank you for the meal!

I thoroughly enjoyed treating myself to a well-deserved reward for the past year. Everything from the food, ambiance, and service was excellent, deserving a 5-star rating. The filet mignon I had was the most tender I've ever tasted. The appetizers, main course, and dessert were all fantastic. The cold noodles were also incredibly delicious, I was truly impressed. And to top it off, they gave me a package of the cold noodles as a souvenir when I left. I was amazed by everything. I can't provide a detailed report because that would be too tedious, but this place is so high-class that I can't come here often. Nonetheless, it motivates me to work hard for another year so I can come back here to eat again. Thank you for the wonderful meal. I will definitely visit again next year.

I was taken to a special place as a complete surprise on a special day ✨ The name of the restaurant is KIMIYA, but it seems to have no relation to the KIMIYA in Nara. Nonetheless, the high-class atmosphere and hospitality were top-notch ✨ You can enjoy various dishes in a course menu. The main dish was an amazing Chateaubriand made with Kyushu beef, which had a rich flavor without being too fatty. The tongue was also incredibly delicious with a crispy texture. The staff cooked the meat for us, and both the fillet and tongue were delicious ✨ Since it's such high-quality meat, I think it can be even more delicious depending on how it's cooked ✨ The drinks were also very satisfying‼️ However... it was a bit cold, maybe because it was winter... haha The cold noodles were perfect and we even received a small gift ✨ It was the best hospitality experience.

Today, amidst the typhoon, I visited "Kimiya Osaka Main Store" with a friend! We had a reservation for 4 people, but due to the train being stopped, one person couldn't make it. When we informed the staff, they kindly said it was okay for 3 of us to come. We ordered the Chateaubriand course! The meal started with a salad and appetizer platter, followed by beef tongue. And then, the long-awaited Chateaubriand arrived! Of course, the taste was exquisite! The staff even cooked the meat for us, and it was incredibly delicious!! It might have been a bit too much for a woman... that amount of food, but we were very satisfied! Thank you for the meal ♪

On this day, I went to Kimiya, a restaurant where reservations are always hard to get, with the company president! The main branch is located in Nara. As you can see in the photo, we indulged in Chateaubriand steak! The beef that day was A5 grade wagyu from Oita Prefecture. The staff grilled it deliciously for us. They cut the meat into pieces using a fork because it was so tender that it easily came apart! It was like cutting bread. For the finishing touch, we had ramen and dessert that refreshed our palates, and it was amazing! The service was also excellent.

It was my first time trying a whole chunk of beef fillet, grilling it and then slicing it up to share. Since it's all from the same cut, you don't get tired of it and can enjoy it with various condiments. Delicious food is always delicious! I wonder how they manage to source only beef fillets.笑

My beloved older brother wanted to treat me to a special meal, so we went to Osaka with my sister to a restaurant that was a branch of Kimiya in Nara. It was a high-class place that we took a taxi to, and at first, we were surprised to find such a fancy restaurant in that area. But as soon as we saw the glowing sign with Kimiya's name, we knew we were in the right place. The first appetizers that came out were amazing, especially the rich egg yolk. I love raw eggs. The main dish, Chateaubriand, was presented in a wooden box with dry ice for a dramatic effect. The staff carefully cooked the meat on a grill and then sliced it with a fork. It was so tender that the meat easily fell apart. When I took a bite, it was unbelievably sweet and delicious. I couldn't believe how luxurious the experience was. We also got freshly cooked white rice, and I had a brilliant idea. I love egg over rice, so I asked the staff if I could have some of the egg yolk from the appetizer. They brought it to me, and I topped the rice with the rich egg yolk and then the meat. It was a luxurious combination and incredibly delicious. It was such a fantastic experience to share with just two women and one man. Despite my big appetite, we couldn't finish all the meat because it was so rich. The last dish was Morioka cold noodles, which was also delicious. They even gave us some as a souvenir, which I gave to my father when we got home, and he was very happy. I would love to go back again if I have the chance.

The surprise visit resulted in forgetting to take photos too much. Overall, the food was delicious but expensive. The portion size was decent, but for this price, you might as well go to the main store or Kikichan. The atmosphere is great with private rooms and it's clean. The individual dishes are carefully crafted, so it might be good for a date! Not really family-friendly, though.

I had been curious about "Kimiya" for a while, so I made a reservation for my first dinner of 2020. The appetizer was white mustard and yukhoe. The rich yolk and plenty of caviar mixed with the yukhoe were delicious. Next came the main meat dishes - tongue, chateaubriand, and sirloin. They were all cooked for us from start to finish. The tongue was delicious and the rare chateaubriand had just the right amount of fat. It was tasty with the three types of salt and yuzu pepper. The meat dipped in sauce was perfect on top of freshly cooked rice. The cold noodles served in a cute yuzu bowl were so delicious that I wanted more. I was very satisfied with the delicious meat at Kimiya. The complimentary dessert was also a nice touch.

I visited Kimiya Osaka Main Store. It is located on a back street about a 10-minute walk from Nakazakicho, and is a reservation-only restaurant. The entrance gives off a traditional Kyoto atmosphere, with stylish modern Japanese private rooms with sunken kotatsu tables, perfect for a date. Today, I ordered the Chateaubriand course!
- Kimiya's Appetizer
The yukhoe, mixed with rich egg yolk soy sauce, is topped with caviar on seared tenderloin, allowing you to enjoy tenderloin from the appetizer.
- White Beef Tripe
The fresh and carefully processed white beef tripe has a nice crunchy texture.
- Seasonal Salad
Enjoy fresh and crunchy vegetables with original dressing.
- Selected Thick-cut Tongue
The thick-cut tongue, grilled by the staff, is perfectly cooked, tender, and allows you to fully experience the flavor of the tongue.
- Chateaubriand
The visually stunning Chateaubriand, also grilled by the staff, is so tender that you can cut it with a fork. The more you chew, the more you can taste the deliciousness of the meat.
- Clay Pot Cooked White Rice
The freshly cooked clay pot rice has a strong sweetness of rice, which pairs perfectly with the elegant meat.
- Yuzu Cold Noodles
The yuzu-flavored cold noodles have a strong texture and a refreshing taste.
- Kimiya Special Tiramisu
Finish off with an elegant and subtly sweet tiramisu that gives you a taste of Japan.
At Kimiya, all the meats are top quality, tender, and delicious, and they are also visually appealing. It was a fantastic experience. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

The meat that can be easily torn apart with a fork is amazing. When you put it in your mouth, the soft texture and rich flavor of the meat spread throughout. The staff, including the female owner, provided exceptional hospitality, making it a wonderful dining experience. Although it was a bit pricey, I was completely satisfied. As a side note, this restaurant was originally a branch of "Kimiya" in Nara, but it has since changed ownership and is now unrelated. Personally, I prefer this one.
