"I visited 'Ramen Nanzo-ya' in Ikuno Ward and tried their 'Chicken and Pork Miso Ramen' (980 yen). The broth is made from chicken and pork bones, with a slightly thick miso soup that has a mellow flavor and a distinct miso taste. The broth has a good balance of umami from the chicken and pork bones, creating a rich and creamy taste. The homemade noodles are medium-thin straight noodles, with a good chewy texture and a nice firmness. The chashu pork is tender and well-seasoned, with a delicious meaty flavor. You can also add black pepper from the condiments on the table to change up the flavor. Highly recommended!"

I went to "Ramen Nanzo-ya" in Tsuruhashi for the second time. It was hot, so I ordered the cold ramen. The cold ramen (dipping sauce) was 850 yen, with a large portion costing an extra 150 yen. I also had a bottle of beer for 550 yen. There were two types of dipping sauces available, and I chose the dipping sauce option. I had tried the soy sauce dipping noodles before, which had a texture similar to cold ramen, so this time I wanted to try the cold ramen. The result was a delightful experience. Next time, I want to challenge a different menu item.

I walked through the deep shopping street of Tsuruhashi in the height of summer, and after a short walk, I found this shop. There was no wait outside due to the intense heat, so I easily entered. Among the many menu options, I ordered the Chicken and Pork Garlic Ramen for 950 yen, along with a small bowl of rice for 100 yen. The noodles were served quickly, perhaps due to their thinness. When I took a sip of the soup, I thought, "Hmm," as it was creamier and softer than it looked. Mixing in a large amount of chopped garlic gave it a rich flavor. The thin noodles had a firm texture and were delicious, and the crunchy green onions added a nice accent. The small but tasty slices of chashu were enjoyable as well. I was able to have a pleasant conversation with the somewhat intimidating-looking shop owner. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Tomato Ketchup after a long time. Since it was a weekday, there were no customers, so I had the garlic ramen after a long time. Hmm, the saltiness is strong. The soup is very rich. It feels like it wasn't like this before. It's like, what happened? Thank you for the meal.

Soy sauce dipping noodles (chicken and seafood base, 950 yen) ★★★★ The soup is a chicken and seafood soy sauce flavor. The noodles are thick straight noodles. The toppings include pork belly chashu, white negi, moyashi, and menma. This time, I tried the limited edition "soy sauce dipping noodles". The soup is a combination of chicken broth, bonito, and kelp dashi with a moderate amount of chicken oil, a touch of spicy kick, and a rounded soy sauce flavor with a hint of acidity, balancing the umami of chicken with seafood broth for a light yet rich finish. The homemade noodles with whole wheat flour have a moist chewiness that pairs well with the soup. The small chashu slices are tender and well-seasoned, very delicious. Enjoy the change in flavor with the provided black pepper. A ramen shop located just south of the shopping street in Tsuruhashi. The menu is lined up on the signboard outside the shop, and with a rating of over 3.6 on Tabelog, I had high expectations for my first visit. The shop has about 11 seats, with two groups already seated at tables and empty seats at the counter. I ordered the Chicken and Pork Spicy Ramen for 1000 yen, along with a Char Siu Bowl for 300 yen. The ramen was served in about 5 minutes. It had a visual appearance similar to tantanmen with minced meat stir-fried to spicy perfection, featuring homemade thin noodles with a firm texture and a double soup base of chicken and pork. The rich flavors of chicken and pork were well brought out, complementing the minced meat nicely. The toppings included minced meat, white negi (leeks), menma (bamboo shoots), and tender slices of char siu. The char siu bowl had plenty of seared diced char siu that paired well with the rice, with a flavorful seasoning that I finished quickly. With a variety of other menu options available, I look forward to visiting again.

This is a ramen shop located a bit off the beaten path, past a deep underground-feeling zone on the southeast side of Tsuruhashi Station in Osaka. I visited on a Saturday night around 8:40 PM. The entrance was narrow and it was hard to see inside, but once I entered, I found that there were no other customers. I was wondering if the owner was even there, but they were. The most popular item seemed to be the Chicken and Pork Ramen, so I decided to try that. It cost 880 yen including tax. The ramen arrived just 3 minutes after ordering, which was quick. The noodles were thin and straight, with a slightly whitish color. The soup was a bit yellowish, almost milky and thick. It seemed like a combination of chicken broth and pork bone broth. It was rich and flavorful. The toppings included bamboo shoots, tender chashu pork, and lots of green onions. I found the raw green onions a bit spicy, so I pushed them to the bottom of the soup for a while. The sweet and thick soup was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I went to "Ramen Nanzo-ya" in Tsukahashi. I arrived at noon. I had the soy sauce tsukemen for 950 yen with extra noodles for 150 yen, and a bottle of beer for 550 yen. The tsukemen was very delicious, with a texture similar to cold ramen. I want to try other menu items at this restaurant as well. I definitely want to go back again.

I visited "Ramen Nazo-ya" in Ikuno-ku, Osaka. I took the route through the Tsuruhashi Hon-dori shopping street from JR Tsuruhashi Station North Exit because I didn't want to get lost in that dungeon (lol). The shop is located between Momodani Station and Tsuruhashi Station, so I walked about 750m. The menu outside the shop was overwhelming with options. I visited on a Sunday at 7:30 pm and there were no other customers. The small shop had a straight counter with 4 seats, a 2-person table, and a 4-person table. The only seasoning available on the table was black pepper. I ordered the "Chicken Pork Vegetable Ramen" for 940 yen. It came in a trapezoid bowl with plenty of vegetables, but it wasn't as voluminous as Nagasaki champon. The rich chicken and pork broth was sweet and easy to eat without feeling heavy. The medium-thin straight noodles had a good bite and held the soup well. The toppings included plenty of cabbage, some carrots, a little green vegetables, and small pieces of pork belly. It was a delicious meal.

Located a little over a 5-minute walk from Tsuruhashi, just before entering Koreatown. It's easy to access by car or motorcycle due to the wide road in front. The compact interior has 4 counter seats, a 4-person table, and a 2-person table. The owner, who runs the place alone, impresses with their efficient work. After a short wait, the piping hot ramen arrives. The clear broth, a mix of chicken and pork, with soy sauce, has a light animal scent. It is hot and spreads a rich flavor of chicken and pork, with a sweet and salty umami taste. The slightly heavy soup might feel like it coats your mouth, but it is delicious. The thin noodles have a supple texture and light bite, perfect for soaking up the slightly thick soup. The tender pork belly, cooked thoroughly, has a soft and smooth umami taste. After finishing the meal, I felt a bit thirsty. This rich and flavorful chicken and pork ramen, with a hint of animal scent, was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I got off at Teramachi Station and walked to this ramen shop. There was a wait for one group, so I went inside and ordered the chicken and pork ramen. The soup was brought to me and I took a sip, then slurped the noodles. It was rich but also light, with depth. The noodles and soup complemented each other well, creating a harmonious and delicious experience. If I were to describe it emotionally, I would say it was deeply satisfying and had a lingering effect.

When I went to Koreatown, I stumbled upon a ramen shop called "Nanzo-ya" in Tsuruhashi. I tried their most popular dish, the chicken and pork ramen. It was flavorful without being too heavy, with a nice balance of chicken and pork broth. I also tried their cold salt ramen, which had a refreshing Japanese twist and was light and easy to eat. It's no wonder this place is so popular! There is an important balance in any dish. Maintaining this so-called golden ratio is said to result in exquisite flavors. Today, I visited a ramen shop that excels in balance! They have many unique menu items, but I chose the classic fish and chicken pork dishes without being swayed. The noodles are different for each, but both are delicious! A renowned shop in Tsuruhashi with understated flavors!

Located in Koreatown, a 10-minute walk from Teramachi Station, this ramen shop was visited around 12:30 on a weekday with only 2 groups of customers. The reviewer was immediately seated and ordered the Curry Tsukemen after seeing the enticing photo on the entrance sign. They opted for the regular level of spiciness. The Curry Tsukemen (900 yen) came with a side of small rice (normally 120 yen, but 100 yen during lunch hours). The dipping sauce had plenty of green onions and a few slices of thinly sliced chashu. The reviewer found the soup to be a white broth with a hint of curry powder, slightly sweet, and not very spicy. The noodles were soft, made with whole grain flour, and the reviewer would have preferred them a bit firmer, although they noted that the firmness cannot be customized. The reviewer felt that the portion of noodles in the regular size may not be filling enough for male customers. They enjoyed pouring the dipping sauce over the rice as a finishing touch, finding it delicious. Overall, they appreciated the good service from the staff and expressed a desire to visit again in the future.

I visited a ramen shop in Ikuno Ward, Osaka City, after seeing a mouth-watering ramen topped with raw garlic on a gourmet website. Today's menu included Curry Ramen for ¥830, Raw Garlic for ¥70, and Small Rice for ¥100 (lunch set). The thin noodles paired well with the thick curry soup. The soup can be made spicy, but I opted for the normal level today. The amount of raw garlic topping was quite generous, so it might be a bit heavy on the stomach. After finishing the noodles, I dumped the rice into the soup and enjoyed it until the last bite.

After work on May 2022, I stopped by my favorite local spot. I arrived around 7pm and even though they were short-staffed, the menu was still extensive, making it hard to choose. It was a hot day, so I was in the mood for curry, maybe curry tsukemen. I decided to try the "Curry Tsukemen" that I hadn't had before. It arrived quickly. The dipping sauce had a strong spice aroma, a nice curry color, and was topped with plenty of green onions. The homemade noodles were thick and shiny with whole wheat flour. Time to dig in! Dipping the noodles in the sauce, it was delicious. The curry shio broth was just the right medium level of flavor. I requested it to be not too spicy, but the spice level was perfect. There were a few small slices of char siu in the dipping sauce. Rice is a must with this dish. Pouring the sauce over the rice was also tasty. For a finishing touch, I tried the soup wari (soup dilution). The flavor intensified and it was a satisfying meal from start to finish.

Head to Ramen Nanzoya in Ikuno Ward, Osaka City. The nearest station is Tsuruhashi Station, but it's a bit of a distance. The signature dish is Chicken and Pork Ramen. The topping options include curry, vegetables, spicy, garlic, spicy, fish, and a variety of choices. Other menu items include soy sauce ramen, salt ramen, Japanese-style curry ramen, fish dipping noodles, spicy dipping noodles, curry dipping noodles, and soy sauce dipping noodles. With so many tempting options, I decided to try the recommended Chicken and Pork Ramen on my first visit. The brown soup has a delightful aroma. The soup combines the mellow flavor of chicken, the rich umami of pork, and a hint of sweetness. The pork bone aroma is quite strong, but there is no unpleasant smell or heaviness, just a creamy texture. The soup is not too salty, and it perfectly balances the best of chicken and pork. It was incredibly delicious. The homemade thin noodles have a firm texture and a supple feel, perfectly soaking up the hot soup. The seasoned bamboo shoots and char siu are also excellent. The green onions complement the soup wonderfully. I was thoroughly satisfied with this bowl of ramen. I look forward to trying the dipping noodles, garlic, curry, and other toppings at Nanzoya in the future. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

#Friday is Curry Day. Today's lunch at Momodani 2-chome, Ramen Nanzo-ya. I had the Curry Tsukemen for 900 yen. You can choose the level of spiciness, and I went with the highest level, which was perfect. The noodles were made with whole wheat flour, flat and medium thick, about 200g. The curry had a satisfying level of spiciness that made me sweat a bit halfway through. To finish, I added a small portion of rice for 100 yen and made a Curry Zosui, which warmed up the cold curry nicely. I left the place fully satisfied. #OsakaGourmet #OsakaLunch

At the Crane Bridge Ramen, there were seats available. I ordered the most popular ramen with toppings. It was ready in 8 minutes. The Chicken and Pork Ramen with Char Siu (980 yen) was delicious, with the richness of pork and the elegance of chicken blending together nicely. The Char Siu was packed with flavor. Definitely delicious!

"Piri-Kara Tsukemen" for 970 yen. This day was my first visit in a while. I arrived around 18:45 after work, cycling there. I saw that they had tsukemen on the menu, which they only offer when they make the noodles fresh. I had never been there at the right time before. I sat at the counter and chose the "Piri-Kara Tsukemen" from the three options available. The noodles were neatly arranged, thick and flat. The dipping sauce was a vibrant red with plenty of green and white onions, and it looked like it had less oil. Let's dig in! First, I tried the noodles on their own. They had a strong wheat flavor, were well cooked, and had a distinct texture from being flat. The dipping sauce was a mild white broth, not as spicy as it looked, making it easy to eat. The spiciness came from the chili oil. The light dipping sauce allowed the deliciousness of the noodles to shine through. The generous amount of onions was a great touch for me, a highlight of this place. The chashu pork in the dipping sauce was the same as in their ramen and was delicious. It had a slightly sweet seasoning that complemented the dipping sauce. To finish, I added some soup to the remaining dipping sauce. It enhanced the umami flavor, but the spicy kick from the chili oil was a bit overpowering. Next time, if the timing is right, I want to try their curry tsukemen."

After the state of emergency was lifted... following a long time without any social interactions, I went to a bustling ramen shop in Tsuruhashi. I had a hard time finding parking, but finally arrived at this shop! They offer ramen with the option of adding fresh garlic, which was a pleasant surprise. The menu is diverse! I ordered the Garlic Ramen for 850 yen (chicken and pork ramen with fresh garlic) and added extra noodles for 100 yen. The soup was so delicious! It had a rich and thick texture that I loved! The noodles were thin and firm, cooked just right. And the large amount of fresh garlic melted into the soup was slightly spicy and paired perfectly with it! The chashu was also tender and tasty. It was surprisingly delicious, without having to wait in a long line outside. I would love to try their Chicken, Pork, and Fish Ramen next time. Thank you for the meal!
