This day was also fully booked!! It's a popular restaurant that is hard to get into without a reservation, so my husband made a reservation a month and a half ago and we were able to go! The dishes used for the course meal were also lovely, and it was enjoyable to see. The course included appetizers, soup, sashimi, soba, fish dish, shrimp, pork dish, steak, pickles & miso soup, clay pot rice, dessert, and it was very satisfying for 10,000 yen! I think the quantity of a course meal is important, and here, even if you eat everything, you will be about 80% full, so it's highly recommended for those who want to go to a second place afterwards. It was our anniversary, and I was happy when they brought a dessert plate with a light message and the staff said, "Congratulations." Honestly, I'm not a fan of noticeable anniversary performances like music playing, dimming lights, applause, etc., so as someone who wants to quietly enjoy, I was very impressed by the thoughtful gesture. I think it's a great deal to be able to enjoy proper course meals and drinks at this price! The appetizer of fresh seaweed was the first to be served, and we had sea urchin sushi, which was exquisite. The firefly squid and coriander sauce go well together! The combination of strawberry and foie gras was also fresh and delicious! The soup was a soup of soft-shelled turtle and bamboo shoots! It came out piping hot and didn't cool down at all until the end! The sashimi included whale, sea bream, and tuna, among others. The whale was served with ginger and soy sauce, the sea bream with salt and sudachi, and we had the tuna with wasabi soy sauce, but the tuna's fat was so rich that the wasabi was not spicy at all! The soba was the special of the day! They told us to mix it well before eating! The combination of karasumi and condiments was amazing! I wanted to drink up the soup, which was full of umami, at the end, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't slurp the soup from this bowl, and that was the only regret...! If this were home...! The fish dish was served with truffle and foie gras sauce! Delicious!! The moment you put it in your mouth, the aroma of truffle spreads, but you can also taste the foie gras sauce! If this were home, I would be licking the plate! The shrimp dish had a strong uni sauce! This was also delicious! The shrimp was sweet and delicious, of course, but the combination of seaweed and uni sauce was great! If this were home, I would be licking the plate! The pork dish was served with balsamic sauce and balsamic vinegar! They brought out two types of pork, one was so tender that it melted right away! The other was lean and had a strong umami flavor! The pink peppercorns bursting in your mouth and the refreshing flavor spreading was also a great match with the meat! It was amazing. The steak was served with ponzu, moromi miso, condiments, mustard, and rock salt! We had it with five different condiments! The combination with moromi miso was the best for feeling the umami of the meat! Pickles & miso soup were a welcome addition in the second half! The pickled daikon was smoked in the restaurant, and the aroma spread in the mouth! The spiciness of the ginger pickles, the balance of the napa cabbage and cucumber pickles, all good! The clam miso soup also soaked into my slightly tipsy body! Clay pot rice was a nice way to finish the meal! The deliciousness of freshly cooked rice goes without saying, and the chewiness and sweetness of the beans, along with the fish and saltiness, was delicious! They were kind enough to offer a large portion of rice to take home, and we had them make onigiri for us! (They were delicious the next day) There's something special about onigiri made by someone else, isn't there? The dessert was a gentle vanilla ice cream & chocolate cake. It was the perfect ending! It's impossible not to enjoy it with the rich chocolate cream and kinako sprinkled on top! Thank you for the meal!
