I'm sorry for the personal share, but I often crave Spanish cuisine. In particular, I love squid ink paella. That aside, I had planned to spend a weekend in the Shonan area, so a few days prior, I made a reservation at this restaurant over the phone and arrived shortly after noon on the day. It took about five minutes to walk straight east from the Fujisawa Station south exit to reach the restaurant. The bright and cheerful atmosphere typical of a Spanish restaurant was fully booked due to reservations, and there were walk-in customers who couldn't get a table, so I recommend booking in advance for weekend lunches. I had pre-ordered the Basque & Paella course, but before the main course, I decided to add side dishes of Iberico ham and Manchego cheese. We toasted with beer and wine as we enjoyed the dishes. The Iberico ham was thick and savory, with a delightful quality of fat that immediately heightened my expectations. The lunch course began with a bisque made of sea bream, scallop, sea bass, and shrimp. It was thin and not thick in texture, but it was full of ingredients, and the stock was rich and flavorful. The warm tempura salad featured Asari clams from Akkeshi and yawn squid from Sagami Bay, making for a taste and texture that could easily be a main dish. At this point, I had finished my second glass of wine! Then came the long-awaited squid ink paella. Its texture was moist rather than dry, and it was packed with flavor; the stock was strong, the saltiness was just right, and the garlic was prominent—exactly my type. The colorful bell peppers on top made it visually appealing, and I thought it was worth coming to Fujisawa just for this paella. The Spanish chef came to our table regularly, and when I shared stories from my trip to Spain, he seemed genuinely pleased, making me want to visit Spain again. However, since I can't go right away, I definitely plan to return here to enjoy the paella again. (Lunch drinking is great, but I’m also aiming for dinner!) Anyway, thank you for the meal!

On this day, I stayed in Enoshima and took a taxi to the nearby Fujisawa station, looking for a delicious restaurant. I called 【Elarte】 and learned that in December, only customers ordering courses could enter, so I made a reservation for the 【6600 yen Giso & Paella Course】. When I arrived on a weekday at 6:30 PM, about half the tables were occupied. I was shown to my seat and toasted with a glass of red wine. After a while, a large plate of Iberico ham, Fuet (a type of Catalan salami), and goat cheese was served. This was quite a generous portion. There was plenty of my favorite ham, making it a delight with the wine! The goat cheese had a bit of a gamey smell, but I thought it was acceptable in this context. Once I finished the ham, they brought out the day's tapa, where I could choose between 【Shrimp Ajillo】 or 【Mushroom Ajillo】. I opted for the Mushroom Ajillo, which was also quite hearty, with mushrooms soaking up the garlic flavor and tasting fantastic. After finishing that dish, they brought out a salad with Serrano ham. I asked myself if it was more ham, but of course, I enjoyed it—it's my favorite! For the chef's special dish, I had the option to choose from around four different items, and we selected the “Braised Beef Tripe.” It was delicious, filled with hearty chunks of salami and plenty of tender tripe. Finally, we got to choose the paella from the options: ① Mixed Paella ② Meat and Mushroom Paella ③ Squid Ink Paella ④ Seafood Paella. I chose the Squid Ink Paella. Like the other dishes, it was impressively large. The rice was cooked just enough to be al dente, with plenty of squid, and the rich flavor of squid ink was condensed in a way that packed a punch, making it truly delicious! However, by this point, I was so full that I didn’t know what to do. To my delight, they offered to pack the leftover paella for me to take home. Overall, the staff, including the owner, thoroughly explained the dishes, and while we were enjoying the paella, the Spanish chef came by to greet us. It was a warm, welcoming place with ample portions, allowing us to indulge in authentic Spanish cuisine. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The Iberico ham was very delicious. The soup and seafood salad were also tasty, with a good hint of garlic. The paella was rich in flavor, infused with the meat's broth. We took home the leftovers as takeout.

The restaurant is located about a 10-minute walk east from JR Fujisawa Station. The team consists of a Spanish male chef, a Japanese madam, and a young male part-timer. I ordered the following: - Basque Course: 2,900 yen (tax included) - Additional option: 600 yen - Half bottle of Cava: 2,900 yen The dishes served were: 1. Bouillabaisse with sea bream, sea bass, and shrimp 2. Warm salad with spear squid and clams 3. Stewed two types of mushrooms (porcini and button) with chorizo and egg yolk (additional 600 yen) In terms of taste, my impressions were: 1. For the price, it felt just average. The flavor was a bit on the lighter side. 2. [Omitted] 3. This dish was definitely worth the price. It had a rich flavor. Since both dishes 1 and 3 were soup-based, as a soup lover, I mostly enjoyed the broth. The chef got very angry about this... but that’s not my concern.

We visited the restaurant on a weekday evening, just the two of us, and reserved the jamón serrano and paella course. The interior isn’t very spacious, so by 7 PM it was full due to a large group. The dishes came out at a leisurely pace, so the portions were more generous than we expected. The signature paella was surprisingly delicious! My dining companion is a smoker, but the staff kindly allowed him to smoke outside and even wrapped up the food we couldn't finish. It was a warm and friendly place. Although it’s a bit far from the station, I enjoyed talking with the amiable chef, so I really liked the atmosphere.

I visited a restaurant for lunch with a mom friend after a long time. Since it had been a while, we started with a toast with sangria, and I was surprised to see a straw and fork provided. We ordered the bisque paella course. * The bisque soup was delicious, filled with flounder, sea bream, clams, and shrimp. * The tempura salad was abundant with clams and squid. * For the main dish, we had squid ink paella, which was cooked in a pot, allowing the rich flavor of the squid ink to really come through—so tasty! * There was also dessert and a soft drink. Every dish was delicious. The staff were attentive right from when we arrived, and the chef came to our table several times to explain the dishes. The atmosphere was very homey, truly a wonderful place! ✨✨

I've been there 3 or 4 times in the evening, and the food is guaranteed to be delicious. This time I went with four friends during lunchtime, and although we only had a little wine, we enjoyed the Basque paella course. Every dish was exactly as described in the lunch course and completely satisfying. I definitely understand why it’s recognized as one of the top hundred restaurants. I also look forward to going back in the evening to savor the exquisite Basque cuisine and Spanish wine. The atmosphere inside is wonderful, featuring impressive art displays, and the overall vibe brings a sense of happiness. Additionally, the chef's hospitality is exceptional. This place is truly a pride of Fujisawa.

I visited for Sunday lunch. The cute interior was fully booked. The course, featuring paella as the main dish, started with a hearty seafood soup followed by a warm seafood salad, and then culminated in the impressive paella. They kindly mentioned that if I couldn't finish, I could take it home! I was quite satisfied after the soup and salad, so I enjoyed just enough paella to be able to taste it and had the rest packed for takeout. The thoughtfulness was remarkable! The chef also checked in on me at the end of the meal, creating a wonderfully homely atmosphere in the restaurant. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Everything was delicious. The wine was also great. The paella had a bit of a risotto-like texture, so it might be a matter of personal preference. The chef shared a lot of interesting information, which was enjoyable. The portion sizes were generous, and it was nice that I could take the paella home.

We visited on a weekday after 6 PM with three people. We ordered a sangria (in a decanter), mushroom and prosciutto ajillo, a platter of pinchos, squid ink paella, and dessert. At first, I thought we might not have enough food, but each dish turned out to be surprisingly substantial, and we were very satisfied! The squid ink paella, in particular, is highly recommended.

We visited without a reservation on a Wednesday night around 6 PM and walked for about 10 minutes from the station. We were able to enter without waiting at all. The squid ink paella was truly delicious! However, it contains garlic, which can turn your teeth black, so be careful if you're on a date! ⚠️

The Spanish restaurant is just a few minutes' walk from Fujisawa Station. The interior has a cozy, homey atmosphere. This time, I visited for dinner and opted for a course meal. First, we had the sliced cured ham, which had just the right amount of saltiness and was excellent. The garlic shrimp (ajillo) had a nice level of spiciness, and the garlic flavor was delightful. The baguette was also delicious. The Castilian soup had a pleasant garlic aroma and perfectly balanced saltiness. The seafood tempura salad was loaded with squid, clams, and mushrooms, making it quite filling. The stuffed peppers and the fish soufflé skewers were fantastic, highlighting the flavors of the fish beautifully! The squid ink risotto had a firm texture and a lovely squid ink aroma, without being overwhelming; I finished it in no time! Every dish was exceptional!

I visited this restaurant several times in the past. My companion became fascinated by Basque cuisine after going on a group trip there two years ago, so we decided to visit again after five years. We reserved a course for ¥6400. The appetizers, featuring Iberico pork and goat cheese, were incredibly flavorful! It made me question the taste of the prosciutto sold in supermarkets. For the ajillo, we could choose between shrimp or mushrooms, and we opted for mushrooms—specifically, button mushrooms and shiitake. It came with a baguette. For the main dish, we could choose between chicken thighs or honeycomb, and we went with the honeycomb. It was my first time trying honeycomb, and since I’m not fond of inner organs, I was relieved to find it had no strong taste. It was quite delicious and had a light flavor reminiscent of beef stew. The texture of the honeycomb combined perfectly with the chickpeas. The salad (which also had plenty of Iberico or jamón on top) was great. Finally, we chose a mixed paella. After stuffing ourselves, we decided to take half of it home. My Basque-obsessed companion grumbled that he wanted to try pintxos, so I plan to just reserve a table next time. I think it’s a restaurant where you can enjoy authentic dishes in a homely atmosphere, and the prices are reasonable.

Everything is delicious. The paella, with its juicy rice and ingredients, is truly outstanding. If you love paella, this is definitely a place you must visit. If you enjoy sherry, you'll be very pleased with the selection. In addition to Fino, Oloroso, and Amontillado, there is also the rare option of Manzanilla. And there's sherry brandy as well. It's fantastic!

Visited on Saturday just after 1 PM. The entrance is marked by the Spanish flag, and you proceed past the café into the back. The interior has a cozy, homely feel, and although it can accommodate 4-5 groups, there were only 3 on this day. We ordered the Basque paella lunch course and a carafe of sangria. The sangria was homemade and had a mild flavor, perfect for a hot afternoon. The first dish was a bisque soup, which was rather reminiscent of a bouillabaisse. On that day, it contained shrimp, clams, sole, and sea bass, and I thought the blend of garlic, seafood, and saffron made for a deeply flavorful soup. Next was a seafood tempura salad, featuring warm seafood and mushrooms served over lettuce. To put it in extreme terms, it was like a salad topped with ajillo. It included mushrooms, shimeji, lettuce, Shonan tomatoes, squid from Yamaguchi, and clams from Hokkaido, all beautifully combined. The paella was a mixed version, topped with roasted bell peppers, green peppers, tomatoes, chicken that seemed pre-roasted, mussels, clams, and large shrimp. It was enhanced with rosemary, thyme, and lemon for a refreshing taste. The rice had absorbed the rich flavors of the seafood, meat, and vegetables, making it very delicious. The meal included a sorbet and coffee for dessert, totaling 4200 yen per person. Given that we enjoyed sangria as well, I felt this was an incredible value. We had a delightful time for lunch on a summer day. The jamón serrano and other à la carte options also looked appealing. I would definitely love to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Basque Paella Course - 3350 yen Located in Fujisawa, this restaurant specializes in Basque cuisine, with the owner being Spanish. The Basque region, blessed by the mountains and the sea, has developed unique and delicious local dishes, focusing on seafood from the coast and meat and vegetables from the inland areas. "Elarte," situated by the Shonan seaside, particularly emphasizes seafood and vegetables. I ordered the Basque Paella Course. **Bisque Soup (Sopa de Mariscos)** Although it looks simple and thin, the flavor is rich with a strong essence of crustaceans. It's packed with ingredients like black tiger shrimp, clams, and sea bream, offering great satisfaction. **Warm Seafood Salad (Ensalada Templada)** "Templada" means "heated," so this is a cold salad with warm ingredients such as fresh vegetables, grilled squid, clams, mushrooms, and shimeji mushrooms. It’s more akin to a stir-fry. The dish features grilled squid from Sagami Bay and rich, flavorful clams from Akkeshi. With plenty of ingredients, it’s hearty and filling. Although it's a warm salad, the rich flavor of tomatoes from Fujisawa and the acidity of wine vinegar keep it fresh. **Signature Dish: Squid Ink Paella (Paella Negra)** The aroma of squid ink and garlic is tantalizing. The depth of flavor from the squid ink, reminiscent of crab miso, blends perfectly with the seafood stock. Although the taste is strong, it balances nicely with the sweet, thick slices of bell pepper on top. The rice is slightly al dente and chunky, creating a harmonious crunch when combined with tender squid and crispy bell pepper. **Dessert: White Chocolate Cold Soup** This dessert includes chunks of strawberries, apples, and bananas. It is not overly sweet and offers a variety of textures, making it an interesting ending to the meal. With abundant seafood, especially emphasizing squid, Elarte stands out from the typical French and Italian restaurants in Tokyo that may focus on fancy presentations but fall short in flavor. The appearance of the dishes here may be simple, but the taste is exceptional.

I used the dinner course, and everything was very delicious. Garlic was used quite a bit, but the smell wasn't overpowering, making it easy to eat. The tempura salad, served in a baguette with fish and vegetables, was substantial and tasty. The paella was also packed with seafood and incredibly delicious. The portions were generous, and I was very satisfied!

The entrance was narrow, and the corridor was quite slim, which made me wonder about the place, but the restaurant itself was bright and surprisingly spacious. Since it was just my son and me, we ordered the Basque and Paella course with squid ink paella. The meal came with drinks, so we both started with grapefruit juice. From the soup to the salad, paella, and dessert, the dishes here are packed with ingredients. By the time we reached the soup, it felt like we were just enjoying the ingredients. Moreover, each dish was filled with delicious ingredients such as shrimp, squid, clams, and even apples, which made us very happy.

I made a reservation for the Basque Paella course. The bisque soup at the start was delicious and packed with ingredients. The seafood salad came with a introduction from the chef about its origin, and I was surprised by the rich flavor of the tomatoes from Fujisawa. It was topped with squid from Sagami Bay and large, flavorful clams from Akkeshi, making it very hearty and tasty. The main dish, squid ink paella, was also very rich and paired wonderfully with the sangria (*^^*). Eating it on its own was a bit salty, but when combined with the sweet peppers on top, it was just right. The addition of garlic, which was cooked so it became soft like potatoes, made it even more delicious. The homemade sangria was around 1700 yen for a 500ml decanter, served surprisingly without ice, along with a straw and fork! This way, it didn't get diluted, and the straw made it easy to enjoy even while feeling a bit tipsy in the afternoon. It paired perfectly with the soup, salad, and paella, so I was glad I ordered it. For dessert, there was a cold white chocolate soup with bananas, apples, and strawberries. The combination with coffee was delightful. We spent a total of 8400 yen for lunch for two. While it's not an everyday price, I would definitely want to visit again when I want to enjoy a special experience. The staff were also very attentive, and I had a very comfortable time. Thank you very much.

I had a reservation, but there was only one other group besides us. The chef was a foreigner, which raised my expectations. Considering it was 5,500 yen, I felt a bit underwhelmed—prices have definitely gone up. I was told they use aged prosciutto, which was nice. The ajillo was delicious. I got so caught up in conversation that I forgot to take photos. The paella had a somewhat crunchy texture, which gave it a foreign vibe. They allow you to take home leftovers if you can't finish, which I really appreciate since I hate wasting food. Thank you for the meal!
