During the New Year in Sapporo, my wife and I had some time off, although her breaks were scattered so we only went out when our schedules aligned. On the first day, we went bar hopping to a few places, and on the second day, it was time to head back home. We had lunch and planned our return, but since I had another day off, I decided to take my time getting back. My wife mentioned wanting to go to Daimaru, so I agreed to go with her, even though I couldn't remember the purpose of the visit. It turned out she was after "cheese," and once she achieved her goal, we headed off to visit someone, so we wouldn't be home until late. I decided to buy some snacks for drinks on the way back, and we both seemed interested in kushikatsu. There was a set of 10 skewers for 1,000 yen, which seemed like a good deal. You could also choose two additional skewers of your choice, which I found innovative. I asked if they could send the quail skewers to Otaru, but they didn't respond. I ended up adding "octopus" and "pork with leeks" to our order. We didn't end up eating them until the next day. My wife came back late the next day, so I decided to reheat the leftovers in a frying pan. I picked out the ones she didn't like and warmed up the rest. I left the quail skewers untouched, as she wouldn't eat them, and the suspicious ones were left for her to deal with. The meat with leeks was delicious, and the octopus, although small, made a good snack. The white fish was tasty, and I may have finished it all without leaving any for my wife. Overall, the food was delicious, affordable, and I would definitely buy it again if I come across it.
