There were 7 customers before me and 11 after me, and by 11:20 am, the place was full. The toast was topped with Camembert, Mozzarella, Cheddar, mixed shredded, and powdered cheese, all melted and mixed perfectly. It also had dried tomatoes and salami which added a nice touch. This is a café located in Doshu-cho, Chuo-ku, Osaka. After enduring the scorching heat of the Parisshu parade, I was feeling very thirsty so I decided to take a break here. I ordered a Caramel Café au Lait (Iced) for 650 yen including tax. The metal straw was quite impressive. I was able to recover my energy safely. They have free Wi-Fi available. It seems that they only accept cash as payment.

I used it for breakfast. It's nice that they are open until 11:30. The iced coffee with a metal straw makes you feel the coldness as soon as you touch it. It's quite valuable to be able to have a breakfast set in the 500 yen range at a cafe in that location, rather than a coffee shop. I noticed that this area is a business district, but I wondered if there was a morning set available, so I checked it on Tabelog. I've been more conscious about salt intake recently, so I thought maybe Yoshinoya or McDonald's wouldn't be available today. I found a coffee shop instead. They had a morning set for 530 yen with Peak Roast Coffee ☕️. It felt nostalgic. Toast, yogurt, and coffee. I like simple things. It was a secret that I hesitated between Tuna Cheddar Toast and this. It's not really that simple, haha. The coffee was medium roast from Guatemala. It had a nice aroma. Coffee is truly the best. The toast was soft and chewy. This kind of simple breakfast is good, and it made for a nice morning. I'll definitely come back here. They serve morning sets until 11:30 am, haha.

I went around 12 o'clock on Saturday. I usually put a little milk in my coffee, but the cold brew iced coffee here can be enjoyed without milk. It's very refreshing and delicious. Next time, I want to try a stronger coffee.

The "Standard Morning Set" can be ordered until 11:30 am, which includes a drink and a choice of side menu and toast at a reasonable price. I ordered the refreshing cold brew iced coffee, butter toast with strawberry jam topping, and yogurt. The iced coffee had a slightly bitter taste, the butter toast was thick and fluffy with a delicious buttery and jam flavor, and the yogurt was simple but paired well with nuts and dried fruits. Overall, the taste and service were great, and I highly recommend visiting Peak Roast Coffee in Doshomachi. (Food log rating 3.62 at the time of visit)
