Karaoke is so much fun. Sometimes it feels great to sing out loud. I'm not sure if I want to eat any food or not. The staff recommended the Fighters campaign, so I decided to give it a try. For some reason, I always feel like ordering fries when I'm at karaoke. I wouldn't feel the same way at a burger joint. Maybe it's because of the ketchup. The fries are thin and crispy, and I can't stop eating them. They're not too salty, which is nice. The fried chicken is also really good. The coating is crunchy and doesn't get soggy even after some time. I wish singing could burn calories from eating. It doesn't.

Fair menu from a while ago. Moppan? I don't know, but I ordered based on the atmosphere. Everything is not sweet but covered in powdered sugar. Cheese balls, well, I guess that's within expectations, since it has cream cheese inside, so it's kind of like a dessert. Sweet potato, well, it's not bad. Lastly, sweet chicken, how is that? Let's try it cautiously. Oh? It's actually quite good. It's not bad. There are things like honey mustard chicken, after all. The powdered sugar is quite impactful and surprising.

"Smoking is allowed in this karaoke chain established in Showa 62 by Field Co., Ltd. Located right by JR Kotoni Station, this shop is open 24 hours. Upon entry, a Mashu common membership card is required (membership fee of 200 yen). The shop is located on the 2nd floor of 5588KOTONI (formerly Ito-Yokado Kotoni store). Visited again on the night of February 12, 2021. Opted not to get the all-you-can-drink option and instead ordered items individually. I decided to have a beer. The beer was cold and delicious. The takoyaki had a soft texture, likely because it was already frozen. However, with toppings like bonito flakes, mayo, and sauce, it was still quite tasty. Sang a lot and had a great time!"

In September 2019, after drinking beer, eating ramen, yakitori, and gyoza, I realized I had consumed too many calories and decided to walk back home to my house in Kuwazon. On the way, I took a break at a karaoke place called "MASH Kotoni Ekimae Store" on the 2nd floor of the 5588 Building. The karaoke place was the only open store in the building, and the entrance was open just for this place. I ordered a Black Nikka Highball for 430 yen (excluding tax), which was a bit diluted, typical for a karaoke place. I only had a drink since I had eaten a lot already. Karaoke MASH is a 24-hour karaoke establishment located right by JR Kotoni Station. It was established in December 1987 and is operated by Field Co., Ltd. Upon entering any of the 11 stores in Hokkaido, you will need a membership card (with a 200 yen registration fee). The location of the shop is on the 2nd floor of 5588KOTONI (formerly Ito Yokado Kotoni store). On March 27, 2015, around 9 pm, I was able to attend a second party for a workplace drinking party. It seems to be a plan with all-you-can-drink. This is how second parties for workplace drinking parties are like, with someone organizing and someone being the life of the party. I quietly sat in a corner and enjoyed eating the leftover food that someone ordered but no one wanted. The potato fries were decent in taste, but the portion was surprisingly large! I even had two leftover parfaits. The taste was average, but I think it was more than enough.

The karaoke bar is located on the 2nd floor of a building at 5588, just a 1-minute walk from JR Kotoni Station. It is easy to spot from the outside as it looks clean and well-maintained. I visited during the daytime on a weekday, so the karaoke rates were reasonable. There are many karaoke bars in the area, so prices are competitive. The staff are polite and helpful, escorting you to your room, handing you the mic, and providing you with a menu. Everyone is friendly, making it a pleasant experience every time I visit.
