I have passed by this restaurant a few times before, and it tends to have a long line during lunchtime. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Shin-Fukushima Station, and its sister restaurant Fujino is right nearby. The restaurant is on the first floor of a brick building, surrounded by various other dining options in the area. Inside, it has a chic and sophisticated atmosphere, giving off a French or Italian vibe. There are 6 counter seats, 2 tables, and private rooms available. The lunch menu focuses on duck curry and duck burger toppings. They used to offer soba and galette, which are now part of the dinner a la carte menu. I ordered the duck curry with a hamburger topping. It arrived in about 10 minutes, with rice in the center, thick curry sauce, grilled vegetables and pickles around the edges, and a hamburger on top. The curry sauce is made with duck broth, 7 spices, tomatoes, and apples, aiming for a blend of new and nostalgic flavors. The duck broth adds depth to the taste. The hamburger is made entirely of duck meat, with a rare and flavorful interior. The vegetables included eggplant, sweet potato, carrot, and potato, with pickles that might be cabbage. The rice was intentionally firm, suitable for curry. Overall, it was a unique and delicious duck-focused curry. Thank you for the meal.
