I love duck. I love ducks so much. This is a restaurant I had been wanting to visit if I had the chance. I chose it for a meal with a dear friend I have known for many years. I was torn between choosing a course or ordering a la carte, but I was drawn to the porcini mushrooms and duck shabu-shabu, so I opted for the course. I am in Fukushima for a meal, but this area is new to me. It's interesting to see that famous Korean restaurant nearby! There are so many dining options here, it's overwhelming... The exterior looks like a house. Upon entering, we were seated at a table to the right. I thought we might sit at the counter since there are two of us, but they gave us a table instead. We started with appetizers, made with duck and vegetables. The appetizers raised my expectations for the deliciousness to come (laughs). Next, a platter of three types of duck. I think it might be my first time trying duck liver (not a joke), and it's delicious! I'm falling even more in love with duck. Now, onto the duck shabu-shabu!! The light and elegant taste of the Japanese cream broth paired with porcini mushrooms is delightful! We briefly cook the duck in it. The aroma and texture of the porcini mushrooms are amazing too! After enjoying the duck shabu-shabu, we had soba noodles and dessert. The pudding was fragrant and I wanted to eat more of it... The broth for the hot pot was so good that I want to come back again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

You can enjoy truffle soba with Hanoi duck, tossed in oil with a slightly tangy galette. The main dish is a smoked duck steak with a side of vegetables, cooked at low temperature. The sauce is made with wine. To drink, try ordering a cider (an alcoholic apple juice-like beverage).

A bistro near Shin-Fukushima Station in Osaka, known for its creative dishes using duck. I visited for a business lunch. They specialize in using the brand duck "Kawachi duck" for their dishes. I ordered the lunch menu item "Duck Hamburg" (150g, 1000 yen). I watched the cooking process at the counter while waiting. The skillet had the hamburger and grilled vegetables. It came with soup, rice, and salad. The duck meat was coarsely ground, and you could taste the richness of the meat. It paired well with the onion sauce. The creative dishes are definitely delicious. I would like to come back for dinner as well.

I made a same-day reservation on Tabelog. It's very convenient when you can't read the schedule or when plans are not set. It's surprising that you can make reservations at a highly rated place like this. It's a restaurant in Nifukushima that you wouldn't know about unless someone told you. When you open the door, it looks like a regular house, but the interior is moody. I ordered the full course, which was in the 6000 yen range per person, so it's quite affordable. They don't serve a final dish, so you order soba noodles at the end. The duck soba was delicious. I was quite full, so my friend and I shared a half size, but it was so tasty that I felt like I could have eaten more (I'm a glutton). This place is all about enjoying duck, so dishes like duck tataki that highlight the ingredients are really appealing. If I were to visit again, I would like to try dishes like tataki, rare cutlets, and soba x2 a la carte. Thank you for the meal.

I had a duck shabu-shabu course! When I entered the restaurant, there was a really nice smell of the broth... (*´꒳`*) I forgot to take a picture of the shabu-shabu... haha. Everything was really delicious (๑╹ω╹๑ ) It's not often that you can enjoy duck meat, so I want to go again ☺️

The scales will definitely fall from your eyes when you eat at this famous restaurant for Kawachi duck. Once you try their duck, you won't be able to go to any other restaurant. Their duck liver, breast meat, loin, leg sashimi, rare cutlet, duck dipping soba - all of them are exquisite.

I wanted to eat duck dishes so I visited this restaurant. It seems to be a sister restaurant of a nearby duck soba shop, and the duck dishes are delicious, but the soba is also tasty, so it's nice to have soba as an appetizer or to finish the meal. The duck, cooked to perfection, was very good. The staff is not the best, but not bad enough to make you want to leave. They offer dishes at a reasonable price, so I can overlook the lack of hospitality.

This is a bistro, a second brand of the popular soba restaurant "Fujino" in Fukushima, run by Mr. Fujita. The restaurant is located about a 3-minute walk from JR Tozai Line Shin-Fukushima Station, with a stylish brick exterior. Despite it being lunchtime, we were seated at a table without having to wait. The lunch options included Duck Curry, Duck Hamburg, and Duck and Green Onion Rice Bowl, and I chose the Duck Curry with cheese topping. The curry had a nice level of spiciness and a mild flavor due to the addition of duck broth. It seems that the restaurant now specializes in duck dishes, unlike my previous visit when soba was the main focus. The taste and atmosphere were both great, and I would like to try the duck course for dinner next time.

I visited a bistro with a Tabelog rating of 3.64 for lunch on a Sunday, just a 3.4-minute walk from Shin-Fukushima Station. The restaurant is affiliated with a popular soba restaurant called "Fujino," known for its delicious duck soba. The bistro has a cute and cozy atmosphere, and during my visit, all the customers were women except for me. For lunch, they offer three options besides the course menu: duck curry, duck hamburger, and duck and leek rice bowl. I ordered the duck hamburger for 1,000 yen this time. The meal included rice (with free extra serving), a teppanyaki-style duck hamburger with grilled vegetables, salad, a potato pie, and a burdock root Japanese-style soup. The presentation was appealing, especially to women. The 150g duck hamburger was on the smaller side, and although it was made with 100% duck meat, there was a noticeable amount of chopped onions mixed in. The duck meat was finely chopped rather than minced, which seemed to be an attempt to enhance the meatiness, but the strong salty flavor somewhat overshadowed the intended taste of the duck. The chopped onions helped balance the flavors, but I wished I could have tasted more of the duck meat. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. If I were to order again, I would go for the duck curry. Thank you for the meal.

They offer creative dishes using Kawachi duck. I was torn between curry and hamburger for lunch, but then I realized I could have the curry with a hamburger topping. It was a brilliant move. I went for all the toppings, including the rare duck cutlet, which was surprisingly delicious with a rich duck flavor as you chew. The hamburger and sausage also had a unique texture thanks to the duck. I'm looking forward to trying duck dishes for dinner next time. And of course, I'll finish with the famous soba from the main store, Fujino! 【Restaurant Atmosphere】 - Counter, tables, private rooms - Popular with couples and female customers - Recommended for special occasions 【Ordered Menu】 - Duck Curry (with all toppings) ¥2300 - Duck and Leek Bowl ¥1600 (limited-time price) Thank you for reading until the end. It was a lunch visit, but I was very impressed by how meticulously they work and the lively atmosphere inside the restaurant. The duck hamburger for 1000 yen is definitely worth it. It was so juicy that it didn't taste like chicken at all, and it made me want to have a drink even in the afternoon. I definitely want to visit again at night.

Duck hamburger was a first for me. It had a stronger flavor compared to chicken or beef hamburgers, but was lighter. The limited-time green onion soba also had a rich flavor. The restaurant seems to have originated from a soba shop. The dinner menu also looked delicious.

I came to the restaurant with high expectations because I love both duck and soba noodles. The duck from Kawachi was tender and had no gamey taste, very delicious. However, I personally think it would have been even better if it was sliced a bit thinner. The duck in the hot pot was too meaty, leaving a strong duck flavor in my mouth. The cold soba at the end had a great aroma and a nice firm texture, very tasty. But I felt it would have been even better if they had provided condiments like sansho pepper and green onions to accompany the soba, it was a bit disappointing. With that soba, just salt and wasabi would have been delicious enough. Since there was delicious wasabi served multiple times during the meal, I regret not saving some for the soba.

Located a 3-5 minute walk from Shin-Fukushima Station, there is a duck cuisine restaurant called Foujita. This place offers a variety of dishes using duck meat, from curry, rice bowls, and hamburgers for lunch to duck shabu-shabu and French-style duck course for dinner. The interior of the restaurant has around 20 seats, including counter and table seating, creating a cozy and clean atmosphere for enjoying your meal. I tried the "All Toppings Duck Curry" for 2,400 yen, which is a bit pricey for lunch but worth it for the generous toppings of duck rare cutlet, duck hamburger, sausage, and cheese on top of the curry. The curry had a nice spice aroma with the added flavor of Kawauchi duck broth, creating a gentle taste. The juicy sausage, flavorful duck rare cutlet, and tender duck hamburger enhanced the deliciousness of the curry. With grilled vegetables on top, this dish offers a satisfying amount of duck cuisine. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

I have passed by this restaurant a few times before, and it tends to have a long line during lunchtime. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Shin-Fukushima Station, and its sister restaurant Fujino is right nearby. The restaurant is on the first floor of a brick building, surrounded by various other dining options in the area. Inside, it has a chic and sophisticated atmosphere, giving off a French or Italian vibe. There are 6 counter seats, 2 tables, and private rooms available. The lunch menu focuses on duck curry and duck burger toppings. They used to offer soba and galette, which are now part of the dinner a la carte menu. I ordered the duck curry with a hamburger topping. It arrived in about 10 minutes, with rice in the center, thick curry sauce, grilled vegetables and pickles around the edges, and a hamburger on top. The curry sauce is made with duck broth, 7 spices, tomatoes, and apples, aiming for a blend of new and nostalgic flavors. The duck broth adds depth to the taste. The hamburger is made entirely of duck meat, with a rare and flavorful interior. The vegetables included eggplant, sweet potato, carrot, and potato, with pickles that might be cabbage. The rice was intentionally firm, suitable for curry. Overall, it was a unique and delicious duck-focused curry. Thank you for the meal.

Camembert (150g) for 1000 yen! I had been curious about this restaurant for a while. It was my first time trying camembert and it was delicious! The hamburger, cooked on an iron plate, had a wonderful aroma and was packed full of flavorful meat. The sweet and savory onion sauce made the rice go down easily. The grilled vegetables were very sweet and tasted fresh. The potato gratin-like side dish was my favorite, creamy and absolutely delicious. It was a delightful meal. Thank you!

Before going to practice, I was planning to get off at Ebine to have lunch, but I got off at Noda instead... I made a silly mistake because the train lines are different. I walked one station and headed to a restaurant that I was interested in, but... the first place was full, the second place was reserved, and the third place was sold out, so I couldn't find anywhere to have lunch. That's when I met foujita. I entered without any prior information, but it was the right choice. The rare duck cutlet was delicious.

The assorted soba noodles were delicious. Each type had a unique flavor: homemade smoked oil with a hint of citrus, garlic oil with garlic chips, and the popular truffle soba. The rare duck cutlet and duck heart with scallion aioli were also excellent. I took a friend who had never tried duck before, and they were very pleased. The chef at the counter would join in the conversation about the food, which was a unique and interesting touch. It felt like a special experience, maybe because it was in Osaka.

One restaurant I wanted to visit♪ If you want to eat duck in Fukushima, then it's Foujita! They serve delicious duck dishes. The staff are very nice and the atmosphere is great. The sparkling wine was also delicious! They poured a generous amount into the glass, which made me very happy. Today, I had: - Assorted 3 appetizers for 770 yen (tax included) - Tataki of Kawachi duck for 1,700 yen (tax included), which was very delicious! - Confit of Kawachi duck leg for 3,000 yen (tax included), with crispy skin and delicious taste! - Assorted buckwheat noodles for 1,000 yen (tax included), with smoked, truffle, and garlic flavors, offering various ways to enjoy. - Galette Quattro Formaggi (Gouda, Mozzarella, Gorgonzola, Parmesan) for 1,380 yen - Duck soba noodle (half size, price unknown) Full size was 2,100 yen (tax included). I am very interested in trying the duck hot pot next time. Thank you for the meal!
