After finishing a meeting, I got off the train on my way home and decided to have a late lunch at "Menya Kyosuke" in Sakaisuji Hommachi. Arrival time: 1:10 PM Capacity: Less than 50% full. I ordered the chicken karaage set with chicken white broth ramen. The food arrived in 10 minutes. During lunch time, you can have rice refills, so I decided to order extra rice. The ramen was more like a side dish, with the chicken white broth being rich in oil and a bit wild in flavor. The main dish was the karaage, which was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not too salty. It came with shredded cabbage and pickles on the side. I kept eating rice, soup, noodles, karaage, rice, pickles, and so on in an endless loop. I couldn't finish all the karaage, but it was a perfect meal for a ramen enthusiast like me.

I wanted to eat thin noodles, so I ordered the Chicken Paitan with extra noodles. It arrived in about 5 minutes, and the rich soup was delicious, just as I like it. However, I didn't realize it came with 240g of noodles, so now I'm stuffed. I wish I hadn't ordered the rice... I don't come to Sakaisuji-Honmachi often, but I would definitely come back here. It seems to be a competitive ramen area. Thank you for the meal.

It's just delicious. It's a good deal to get a 50 yen discount on rice dishes for lunch. I got it with fried chicken. The flavor is seafood pork bone. There's nothing particularly new or outstanding about it. The two slices of pork are different cuts, I think. If you ask, you might get a free seasoned boiled egg, which adds to the value.

It's a counter-only shop, but the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming for solo diners. I visited in the evening after lunch hours. I was delighted that a boiled egg was included even without any additional toppings, as I love boiled eggs. I had the tsukemen, but next time I want to try the ramen. Thank you for the meal!

I came after a long time! Last time, the chicken broth was sold out so I finally got it this time! I like thick ramen, but not too thick that I wanted to have it with rice! The chashu had a good balance of fat and I wanted to add more. The lunch menu is also a good deal so I want to come back again.

On a weekday in the business district, I visited a popular restaurant for lunch without having to wait in line on a Saturday around 12:30 pm. Luckily, there were about 4 empty seats available. I had the chicken white broth seafood dipping noodles (150g) for 900 yen. It came with egg, bamboo shoots, chashu, and seaweed, all included for this price. The noodles were of normal thickness with a good chewiness, and the chashu was tender. The soup was on the lighter side, which was good for coating the noodles without being too heavy. It was enjoyable to drink without diluting it. The relationship between the noodles and soup was good, and the chashu melted in the mouth, which was satisfying. It's a matter of personal preference, but I prefer thick noodles and a thicker, richer soup for dipping noodles, so I will try the ramen next time.

I visited this restaurant because it was near the hotel where I was staying. I usually only eat soy sauce ramen, but I decided to try seafood ramen this time, and it was surprisingly light and delicious!! The pork rice bowl was also delicious! I would like to come back to this restaurant again, even by myself!

The curry-flavored fried chicken tulip is a delicious accent to the ramen. There may be a line for lunch, but surprisingly you can get in within about 10 minutes. I searched for a ramen shop near the hotel and visited one with high ratings. Although the recommended dish was chicken broth ramen, I decided to try the summer limited cold seafood ramen. The soup had a strong seafood flavor and was very refreshing with plenty of vegetables. The noodles were firm and the overall taste was delicious, with a unique flavor that was not quite like cold noodles. However, personally, I prefer to soak the vegetables in the soup when eating ramen, so the crunchy texture of the vegetables in the cold dish made it a bit difficult to eat. Thank you for the meal.

It's about a 10-minute walk from Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station. Nearby, there is a popular but often temporarily closed restaurant called Hanabusa. The tsukemen at Menya Kyosuke is a safe and delicious seafood tsukemen. It's not too rich, but has a good umami flavor and was tasty.

I visited before 3 pm on a regular day and was able to enter without waiting. I was torn between the chicken white broth ramen and the seafood pork bone ramen, but I chose the latter. The aroma was rich and it packed a punch! It had been a while since I had this feeling! However, it wasn't too heavy, and the noodles weren't overwhelming, so I finished it quickly. It cost 900 yen. The only downside was that the inside of the restaurant was steamy, so it might be a good idea to wear cool clothing when going.

At the Industrial Creation Hall, I had the opportunity to try the popular "Kyosuke" where I had soy sauce ramen for the first time. The soup was amazing! The taste of the soup changes depending on where you scoop it with your spoon. The flavor of the green onions, the aroma of the chashu, the sweetness of the menma, all blend perfectly with the soup, enhancing its richness. I couldn't stop using the spoon and chopsticks. I even tried pouring some of the soup over rice, creating a delicious porridge-like dish. I was completely satisfied and full after enjoying the meal. I also noticed the neighboring customer struggling with a large portion of fried chicken, which made me want to come back again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The noodles have a satisfying chewiness, and the medium thickness is just right. You can also request to change to thin noodles, but the medium thickness is highly recommended. The combination of the soup and noodles is excellent! The ramen here is generously filled with ingredients and is delicious. It comes with complimentary seasoned egg (half), two types of seared chashu (pork belly and pork loin), two types of green onions (green and white), and plenty of menma (bamboo shoots) and nori (seaweed), all of which complement the seafood soup well. Overall, it offers a satisfying and delicious dining experience. A definite repeat visit!

I arrived at the restaurant at 11:40 am, earlier than planned, but there was already a line! It's a popular place indeed. I only had to wait for about 5 minutes before being seated. I ordered the chicken broth ramen and rice. The rich soup and medium thick noodles were so delicious that I couldn't stop eating, even though I knew I would get heartburn later! In the end, I finished all the soup too. Now I'm worried about my afternoon work. That was a great meal!

I visited the restaurant at night. It was first come, first served for 2 groups. We sat down, placed our order, ate, and paid on the spot. I had the Chicken White Broth Seafood Ramen for 900 yen, added a flavored egg for 50 yen, and also had the Chashu Rice Bowl for 300 yen. The flavored egg was included in the ramen, so it was a bit funny to order it separately. The soup was rich with seafood flavor. The Chashu Rice Bowl had plenty of tender meat, making it a good deal. The rice had a slightly sour taste, almost like yogurt, which I didn't really like. However, the meat itself was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant at 2:00 pm on a regular day, and it was not crowded so I was seated immediately. I ordered the Chicken White Broth Seafood Tsukemen in a large size for 1100 yen. It was delicious with a seafood base! However, I underestimated how much the large size would be, even though it was written on the menu. The chashu was seared and juicy, with a nice charred flavor. Next time, I might try the Salt Ramen as it looked tasty too.

The toppings included chashu, menma, nori, two types of green onions, and a half-cooked egg. The soup was rich chicken white broth, thick and slightly sweet. The noodles were medium-thick straight noodles that held up well to the flavorful soup. I bet the chicken white broth seafood ramen at the top of the menu would be delicious with this soup. I'll have to come back and try it next time. It was delicious. 6.6

Visit time: 13:00 on a weekday Wait time: None Menu: Chicken clear soup soy sauce ramen 900 yen + Char siu rice 150 yen I visited at a later time to avoid the usual long lines, and was able to visit for the first time without any wait. I ordered the soy sauce ramen and char siu rice. The noodles were medium straight noodles in a light soy sauce soup, which was delicious. The char siu rice was tasty on its own, but dipping it in the ramen soup made it even better. I later realized that white rice is free on weekdays. The char siu rice was good, but I'll go for white rice next time. Thank you for the meal.

One day's lunch memo. The other day, I visited a ramen shop nearby called "Menya Hanabusa" where there was a line at the shop that caught my attention. This day, there was still a line but the wait time was short. I was happy that they had good turnover! It's a small shop with only counter seats. I debated between regular tsukemen and ended up choosing the "Summer Limited Cold Seafood Ramen". It was 900 yen for a regular size (^ ^). Most of the customers were men, and many of them ordered the chashu rice set. The noodles were smooth and had a good chewy texture, which I quite liked. The toppings included duck loin ham-like slices, green onions, bamboo shoots, seaweed, egg, and pea sprouts (raw). Personally, I would have preferred chicken breast or salad chicken instead of duck loin, and the raw pea sprouts had a bit of a strange taste. The soup had a slight acidity and was on the sweeter side. Personally, I found it a bit too sweet (I'm not a fan of sweet flavors). It was a bit of a misjudgment on my part, so I would like to try the tsukemen next time. Thank you for the meal!
