Today in Osaka, I visited Takatsuki, a place I haven't been to in a while. I went to a ramen shop called 3104 Chome. The ramen shops in Takatsuki are truly top-notch. I was wondering where to have lunch, and as fate would have it, I ended up at 3104 Chome. The interior of the shop was amazing, with cobalt blue tiles in front of the counter. I ordered the Special Ramen Shoyu for 1,100 yen and the lunch set with Chicken Chashu and Green Onion Salt Donburi for an additional 150 yen. The ramen was delicious, with a seafood-based broth that had just the right balance of flavors. The chashu, made from both pork and chicken, was also very tasty. The donburi had a great sesame oil flavor that complemented the ramen well. I highly recommend it. The Kansai Shogi Hall is moving to Takatsuki, which seems like a great location. It's a convenient spot off National Route 171 (known as Inaichi) on the way to JR Takatsuki Station, and it's surprisingly quiet there. Takatsuki is also known for its gourmet scene, particularly near Fukushima Station, which is a ramen battleground. When I was a child, I used to play shogi with my father. I don't have many memories of playing with him due to his busy work schedule, but I do remember playing shogi after dinner. I never won a game, but it was a special memory. The recent success of young shogi players like Fujii is impressive, although it also feels a bit lonely. It's a reminder for us to work harder. Overall, it was a great meal today.

On this scorching hot day with temperatures over 35°C, I was walking along the Hankyu elevated railway trying to decide what to have for lunch. That's when I spotted the word "cold" on the menu of this ramen shop. It had been a while since I last visited, so I decided to stop by. Since it was a bit late for lunch, the number of customers had started to decrease. I ordered the "Summer Limited Edition Cold Udon" and the "Chicken Chashu and Green Onion Rice Bowl". I never expected to come across cold ramen today, so it felt like finding an oasis in the desert. The interior of the shop was cool, so I got greedy and also ordered a "mini bowl". Despite the hot weather, this bowl really whetted my appetite. The cold soup was light, but the deep umami flavor of the purple onion didn't disappoint. The moist chicken chashu, combined with the flavor of the soup, made me want to keep eating more and more. This was a true oasis-like ramen and mini bowl experience in the middle of summer. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Today, after finishing work, I had some errands to run in Takatsuki. In this scorching hot summer, I finished my errands and went to this restaurant in search of cold noodles. It was my second visit in 7 years. I arrived around 7:30 pm, and although there weren't many customers, there was a steady flow of people coming in. I ordered the Uzume cold noodles for 980 yen, and it arrived in less than 10 minutes. Let's dig in! The dish consisted of tender chicken thigh chashu, flavorful marinated half boiled egg, bamboo shoots, shredded cabbage, and chopped purple onions. The noodles were thin but had a good chewiness, providing a satisfying texture. The soup had a refreshing taste with the aroma of Uzume fish stock standing out. And it was ice-cold! (*´д`)(in the style of Tatsuya Fujiwara). The harmony between the ingredients, noodles, and soup enhanced the deliciousness multiple times. Of course, I slurped up every last drop. I've never craved cold noodles as much as I have this year. I want to eat as much as I can before the hot summer ends. It was incredibly delicious!! Thank you for the meal.

The shop is located quietly along the Hankyu Takatsuki railway line, almost passing by in a moment. Since I came by bike, I was relieved to see a space to park bikes and bicycles in front of the shop. I visited around 5:30 pm and there was one male customer ahead of me. The exterior had a retro atmosphere and the inside of the shop was clean. I tried the special ramen. I was excited to hear that it was made by a broth sommelier. The soup in the salt selection was excellent. It was so delicious that I kept drinking the soup. The noodles were thinner than medium noodles, but thicker than tonkotsu ramen noodles. This is just my personal opinion, but I thought I would like to try different noodles next time. Maybe I'll go try the miso flavor next time. It was nice to be able to eat slowly at the counter. I wonder if it's less crowded because of the location?

Since the time I was in Takatsuki, I have been curious about this ramen shop. It's just a short walk from the station, but you can easily spot it with its cute exterior. The interior is very clean and the ramen is incredibly delicious. It seems that the ramen is made by a broth sommelier, so you can bet it's tasty. I had a wonderful time enjoying the delicious ramen in this stylish and beautiful restaurant.

Dashi sommelier's ramen. Popular ramen shop 3104 Chome in Takatsuki City Station. The shop has only counter seats, but it is stylish like a cafe, and the owner and his wife are chic and fashionable. Many local people frequent the shop, and there are many stylish women.
◎ Special Ramen (soy sauce) 1100 yen
◎ Chicken Chashu Negi Salt Don +150 yen
While waiting for the order, I noticed that the customer behind me ordered a Red Hot ramen with 3 or 5 levels of spiciness, which was not on the menu. The spicy food trend seems to be making a comeback, as seen on the morning news. The special ramen has a flavorful soup with a good dashi base. There are two types of chashu, chicken and pork. The pork chashu is tender and delicious. The chicken negi salt sesame oil bowl is also very tasty. I thought it would be great to have a restaurant like this nearby. 23rd ramen shop visited in 134 days.

I visited a ramen shop in Takatsuki, Osaka for the first time! I arrived right at opening time on Saturday at 11 am and there were no other customers. The shop was bright, clean, and had a somewhat Italian atmosphere. I ordered the tsukemen, and the deep soup base with smooth noodles was excellent! I enjoyed it very much.

I visited this ramen shop in Takatsuki on a Saturday around noon. The ramen (salt flavor) costs 900 yen and comes with two types of chashu, green onions, menma, flavored egg, onions, and watercress. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles. The soup is a fish-based chicken and pork broth.
The restaurant was full when I arrived, with one person waiting outside. It took about 20 minutes from lining up to receiving my bowl of ramen.
The broth was rich in umami from kombu, bonito flakes, and shiitake mushrooms, creating a deep and flavorful explosion in my mouth. There was no bitterness or off-flavors, showing the careful work put into making this ramen. The noodles had a firm texture and chewiness, with a wheat aroma that complemented the soup well.
The pork chashu was large and thick, with a savory and slightly charred taste. The chicken chashu was moist and tender, with a concentrated chicken flavor. The crunch of the watercress and the richness of the flavored egg yolk added to the deliciousness.
By the time I left, there were nearly 10 people waiting outside. I was very satisfied with my meal. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I visited "3104 Chome" this time, away from the area with many ramen shops in Takatsuki. The exquisite bowl created by the dashi sommelier owner was very delicious. The tsukemen soup base was also very good, and adding a small amount of lemon vinegar made it even more delicious.

After a long time, I went to Takatsuki with a friend to have ramen together. We visited around 12 o'clock on Sunday, and the area under the guard was lively, but the restaurant was located on a quieter street, so we were able to enjoy our meal calmly. We ordered the special miso ramen. It was delicious with a rich and thick broth. The noodles were thin, but they were well coated with the soup, and the chashu was fragrant. The flavored egg was also perfectly half-cooked. Overall, it was a high-quality ramen with a good balance in each aspect. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I tried the ramen made by the dashi sommelier owner. The flavor has changed a lot! When you bring the soup close to your nose, you can smell the seafood essence, but when you taste it, it is well balanced. The soup is designed to savor the dashi, with a clear outline of the flavors. A wonderful bowl created by the dashi sommelier owner.
The salt ramen with egg noodles is amazing! When you chew it, a fluffy sensation emerges. The tsukemen, on the other hand, has a sharp soy sauce seafood dashi flavor, and the wheat aroma is present. The thin noodles seem to be well coated in the soup. Surprisingly, when you dip it in wasabi, it becomes even more delicious.
The pork chashu is seared just before reaching the burnt limit, giving off an irresistible crispy aroma. Thank you for the great meal. #Ramen #OsakaRamen #ramen #RamenLovers #RamenClub #RamenInstagrammer #RamenLife #NoodleGram #KansaiRamenClub #OsakaLunch #OsakaGourmet #noodle #yummy #foodie #JapaneseFood #TakatsukiGourmet #TakatsukiLunch #TakatsukiRamen #TakatsukiGourmet #TakatsukiLunch #TakatsukiRamen

I was lured in by the slogan "Ramen made by a dashi sommelier" and decided to try the limited miso ramen. The appearance was great with toppings like seasoned egg, seared chashu, bamboo shoots, and watercress. However, the first impression of the soup was "thin!" The flavor of seafood umami was noticeable, but overall it felt lacking in richness and depth. I had high expectations for the perfect fusion of miso and dashi, so I was disappointed. It seems I still have a lot to learn when it comes to savoring dashi.

3104 Chome Hankyu Takatsuki City Station near popular shop. I had the LINE member limited duck and seafood tsukemen. It is limited to 15 servings per day for 3 days, and today is the last day. I visited at the opening at 11:00. The umami-rich duck meat is served separately. The elegant dipping sauce made by the dashi sommelier owner goes well with the whole wheat medium noodles, duck meat, and green onions. It's truly a duck and green onion combination! Thank you for the meal.

Takatsuki is a highly competitive area for ramen, in my opinion. Even this place, which is highly rated, often has long lines during lunchtime. I ordered the tsukemen. The soup, made by a dashi sommelier owner, is so gentle that it permeates through your entire body. In hindsight, I think I should have started with the ramen. Personally, I prefer my tsukemen on the richer side so I like to mix it with the soup, so next time I go, I'll try ordering the ramen.

October 11th (Tuesday) - Today is also a day off from work. My wife went to a calligraphy class, so I had lunch alone. The restaurant I went to today is located near the udon shop I visited yesterday, a little away from Hankyu Takatsuki Station along the Hankyu viaduct. I parked my car at a nearby coin parking lot and arrived at the restaurant around 11:15. The restaurant has a stylish cafe-like atmosphere, with bright blue tiles inside, giving it a clean and stylish feel. It is run by a couple, and there were no other customers. There are only four seats at the counter. Since it was my first visit, the standard choice would be either salt or soy sauce ramen, but considering the morning chill, I chose miso ramen! It didn't take long for the ramen to arrive. The bright green of the watercress and the red of the shredded red pepper looked delicious! I took a sip of the soup, and there was a slight seafood aroma, with a gentle miso flavor that was tasty. Personally, I prefer miso ramen to have a stronger flavor, but the slightly curly medium-thick noodles were decent. However, I wished there was more interaction between the noodles and the soup. The thickly sliced chashu was lightly seared before being served, giving it a slightly crispy and tender texture. It was delicious! I finished the soup and noodles completely. Thank you for the meal.

I had some business at the city hall, so I stopped by on my way there! It's getting pretty cold, so it's the perfect season for ramen! It's just a 5-minute walk from Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station, which is a convenient distance. I ordered the "Special Ramen (soy sauce)" which came with toppings such as seasoned egg, chicken chashu, pork chashu, menma, and seaweed - a great deal! The soup was clear and delicious! The noodles were smooth, and the whole dish was light and easy to eat. I wanted to try the chicken pickle bowl as well, but I was too full this time. I'll challenge it next time!

Cold ramen is not good. It's not worth trying. It's not delicious at all. Seriously. It's not good. Regular ramen is delicious. That's all you need. Cold ramen is like a gamble, stick to traditional ramen. If a place has a fancy name and serves cold ramen, people might say it's delicious even if it's not, but the cold ramen here was not tasty.

Today, I visited a ramen restaurant in Takatsuki City that I had been interested in for years. The owner of this place trained at a famous restaurant in Kyoto before opening his own shop, and he even holds the title of "Dashi Sommelier." While I usually look for more junky ramen, I couldn't resist trying the ramen made by a chef with such skills. The ramen options include shoyu, salt, or miso, but I decided to go with the salt ramen, which is said to be the most challenging to bring out the flavor of the dashi. I ordered the Fish Ramen with Salt for 850 yen, along with a Chicken Pickled Rice Bowl for an additional 100 yen (lunch set). The exterior of the restaurant looks more like a café, an Italian bar, or a beauty salon, so without the menu sign outside, you might not even realize it's a ramen shop. The husband and wife who run the place are a great team - the wife is bright and polite, while the owner has a more artisanal look, resembling an Italian chef. The ramen was served promptly, and I decided to go with the regular plain ramen today to truly enjoy the flavor of the broth. The noodles were from the well-known brand "Teigaku," offering a reliable texture and chewiness. Finally, the dashi broth was delicate and elegant, with a rich seafood umami flavor that the salt ramen brought out beautifully. The ramen came with two types of chashu, a seasoned egg, and thick bamboo shoots, making the special set unnecessary. The Chicken Pickled Rice Bowl for an extra 100 yen was surprisingly delicious when paired with wasabi, and I couldn't believe it was only 100 yen. After enjoying this refined and sophisticated meal, I headed home with a lingering elegant aftertaste.

Lunchtime on this day was also over 35℃, so I went to this restaurant in search of a cold noodle dish. The restaurant had a cafe-like atmosphere with a counter surrounding the kitchen. I was looking for their "cold" dish, and after a short wait, the summer limited edition "Saba (mackerel) and vegetable dashi cold noodles (850 yen)" arrived. It was a cold soup ramen, where the umami from the mackerel was slowly extracted and combined with the sweetness of the simmered vegetables. The large, moist chicken chashu was a nice touch. I also added the "Chicken Tzuke Don" set for an additional 100 yen. The cold noodles were delicious and perfect for hot, humid days in Kansai. I enjoyed every bit of it. Thank you for the meal.
