On this day when I was on a business trip to Tomakomai, I decided to have lunch at a local revolving sushi restaurant, as Hokkaido is known for its sushi. I found this restaurant in a good location and decided to give it a try! I sat at the counter and ordered various local fish sushi. I had marinated mackerel, fatty salmon, salmon roe battleship sushi, white shrimp, and yellowtail nigiri, along with a mushroom soup. The sushi was all fresh and delicious, with a good variety of toppings. The mushroom soup was a miso soup with several types of mushrooms, and it had a rich flavor from the mushrooms. Hokkaido's local revolving sushi chains never disappoint!

Around 2 o'clock, I visited the restaurant after a few years since the parking lot was empty. The menu seemed unchanged from before, so I decided to order various items from the fair menu. I tried the active octopus, squid sushi, tuna, scallop, fried squid, squid fin, amberjack, and salmon. The tuna was full of sinews like the 100 yen sushi chain, so I only managed to eat 3 and a half plates. The sushi in general lacked cohesion and did not stimulate my appetite. My partner enjoyed the active octopus from the fair menu, but found the rest to be average. The constant request for pre and post-meal surveys was a bit annoying. My partner reluctantly filled it out and gave all top ratings, so the survey was meaningless. The customers at the counter seats were not asked to fill out the survey, so next time I might choose a counter seat instead. But if it's the same quality, I'll stick to the 100 yen sushi chain. Thank you for the meal.

I had high expectations, but I was disappointed this time. The price is similar to Triton, Hanamaru, or Nagoyakatei, but the quality of the fish, the amount of rice, and overall satisfaction were all lacking. The only good thing was the pickled mackerel roll. Goodbye for now, Clipper.

Otto suggested sushi or yakiniku, but since many of us were not very hungry, we decided on sushi. Despite there being empty tables, they seated us in this uncomfortable booth with rough seats. I can't stand this rough texture even through my pants. (I'm just sensitive to these things.) Oh, the sweet sauce on the sweet potato mochi here is delicious! They also offer a variety of sweet potato mochi to try. For dessert, I recommend the coffee jelly with lots of whipped cream at Kuri-ppa. Thanks for the meal!

The store is not very big. The artisans are friendly and easy to talk to, which is nice. As it is a revolving sushi chain from Hokkaido, the plate prices are high and the food is delicious, which is to be expected. However, what I liked about this place was the tamagoyaki (sweet omelette). It was a really good size and tastier than other chain stores.

On the way from Sapporo to Noboribetsu, we stopped at Tomakomai Higashi IC to look for a lunch spot and decided to use this place that we can't eat in Sapporo. The polite service of the hall staff stood out compared to other conveyor belt sushi restaurants. They don't have a conveyor belt, instead, you write your order on a sheet of paper and hand it to the chef. This time, we ordered the "Ikasamai" with 3 pieces of squid, 3 pieces of tuna, 3 pieces of mixed shellfish, and the "Takumi no shime saba" for 1,419 yen. The volume of the toppings was good, and the rice portion was just right. They also mentioned that you can adjust the amount of rice when ordering. Thank you for the meal!

In June 2021, I visited a conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Tomakomai. I find conveyor belt sushi restaurants where you can adjust the amount you eat and the timing very attractive these days. I tried the recommended menu items, including the world-famous dashimaki tamago, which was fluffy and beautiful. It's true that visually appealing dishes are also delicious. The expertly prepared shimesaba (vinegared mackerel) had a soft vinegar flavor, despite its simple appearance. The bite-sized sushi rice was a nice touch. Wasabi was not provided with any of the dishes. The corn tempura caused heartburn. The tobiko with quail egg yolk gunkan was a bit disappointing because the egg yolk was pickled. The nori was crisp and tasty. The yellowtail with shiso roll was my favorite, as the yellowtail was fresh and paired well with the shiso. I appreciated being able to order just one piece of certain items, allowing for some culinary exploration. I also tried the squid sashimi for the first time and found it surprisingly delicious. Overall, this conveyor belt sushi restaurant offers great value for its price.

On December 30, 2020, I visited a beloved conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Tomakomai, which has been cherished by the locals for a long time. This was my first time posting about it, but I have always relied on this place, including for takeout. I had a bit of time before my appointment, so I decided to stop by right when they opened at 11 am. There were already families enjoying their meal when I arrived. I ordered a Hokkaido 5-piece assortment, Fugu (blowfish) sampler, Salmon sampler, expertly prepared Mackerel, sweet and delicious Surf Clam, and reasonably priced Snow Crab. The Snow Crab was a bit thin, but that's understandable given the price. It would have been nicer if they were more opened up for presentation. The Fugu had a satisfying texture and was delicious, although I'm not used to eating it. I only intended to have a light meal, but ended up eating 13 pieces in total. I didn't feel full, but lately, I've been feeling the pressure from the expansion of major chain sushi restaurants in the area. I hope this local conveyor belt sushi restaurant continues to thrive. Thank you for the delicious meal! (^_^)

It's a shop I used to frequent with my colleagues because it's close to my workplace. It's been about 10 years since I last visited. Since I'm alone this time, I just ordered some small dishes. I arrived at 12:30 and sat at counter number 10. There was only one other group of two customers... quite a shock due to the pandemic! Oh, these chairs are nice! They are more comfortable than the round ones. I ordered miso ramen, ikura, fresh squid, and a variety of shellfish. The quality of the ingredients is really good, isn't it? The portions seem to have gotten smaller, but they are easy to eat, which is nice. The shellfish platter cost 600 yen, ikura 320 yen, fresh squid 270 yen, and a mini miso ramen 270 yen. Thanks for the meal!

It was too hot for a hotpot, so we decided to have sushi at a new restaurant we hadn't been to before. We ordered sweet shrimp for 190 yen, seared eel for 220 yen, seared mayo salmon for 220 yen, special rolled omelette for 230 yen, mini miso ramen for 270 yen, homemade zangi for 190 yen, and almond jelly for 190 yen. Prices do not include tax. The sushi pieces were long but we only had 3 each. The prices for squid have gone up. The menu prices have been corrected. Despite being cheap, the quality was good and the side menu items were also cheap, mostly in the 100 yen range. The plates didn't rotate due to the coronavirus, so we wrote our orders on a form and handed it in. There are three other similar restaurants nearby - Sushiro, Shunraku, and Clipper. Shunraku seems to be the most popular. This place was small and tucked away, but it was quite good. The only regret was not trying the mini watermelon. Thank you for the meal.

I came to Tomakomai. Since my whole family eats little, how about a conveyor belt sushi restaurant? It's been over ten years since I last visited "Flipper" and the announcements from the speakers are so loud (>_<) We had 18 plates for 4 people! I wonder how many people were in the booth next to us! They had like 40 plates stacked up! I think it's delicious but the rice balls are big... I'm so full (-_-) and then I noticed there was a section for "small rice balls"! I'm slow to notice things! The booth where the three of us sat seemed to have broken the hot water dispenser, and the button wouldn't come back up! Ahhh, it was chaos (>_<)

I revisited the restaurant for a light snack. I ordered my usual dishes of tuna, squid, chef's cured mackerel, and chef's fatty cured mackerel. The first thing I noticed was that the rice was slightly smaller while the fish pieces remained the same size. It seemed like a strategy to make it seem like you're getting more. However, I felt that the standard dish at 190 yen did not match the content. Furthermore, the impression of sushi can change significantly depending on the chef, and this time the fatty cured mackerel left me disappointed due to its lack of finesse. In short, it didn't match the price.

We came to Tomakomai, so we had sushi at Clipper! We went with two one-month-old babies, and they provided us with children's chairs, blankets, and various other things. The service was excellent.

A must-eat revolving sushi restaurant. The clean interior with classical music playing in the background is also nice. The daily seafood wrap (130 yen + tax) is a perfect strike in the middle.

I was planning to have ramen for lunch, but ended up going to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. I didn't have high expectations, but decided to give it a try. The sushi pieces were large, the vinegared rice was well seasoned and not mushy, it was delicious. The most popular pickled mackerel sushi was really tasty. The tuna was okay, nothing special. They also had a homemade menu item called rolled omelette. I'll try it next time. I want to go back again. Thank you for the meal.

The taste is stable, including the artisanal grilled mackerel, but personally as a fan of this restaurant, I wish they would strive a little more.

It's been a while since I last came here. I used to be able to come here conveniently before, but now I rarely have the chance to come to Tomakomai. The dashimaki tamago is really delicious!! It's the best when it's freshly baked~(●´∀`●) I'm glad I came here♪
