Lunch on this day was at "Bifteki Minami Kai Grill Nakaten" in Sakai City, Sakai-ku. It was a lunch to support a local Sakai shop that is still operating despite the pandemic. I went to a teppanyaki steak restaurant called "Bifteki Minami Grill Nakaten" in Kurumamachi, Sakai-ku. I invited my parents and had lunch with 5 people. From the lunch menu, I had the "Teppan Miyazaki Beef Sirloin Lunch". The lunch course included appetizers, soup, salad, grilled vegetables, sirloin steak (130g), pilaf or ochazuke or tea soba, coffee or tea, dessert. The soup was shrimp bisque and I chose pilaf for rice. Here at Minami Grill, they grill the meat in front of you on the teppan. It has been featured on TV before. Sakai locals often come here to celebrate special occasions. First, we had the appetizers. While we were eating the appetizers, they were warming up the soup on the teppan. After the soup, the salad came out. Meanwhile, they were grilling the meat in front of us. They even performed a flambe fire show in the middle! The steak was served on a piece of bread. While we were eating the meat, they grilled the vegetables. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare, and the Miyazaki beef sirloin steak was absolutely delicious. Next, they toasted the bread with butter. Surprisingly, the bread was really tasty! Finally, they grilled the pilaf on the teppan. The cheese pilaf was also really good. After the pilaf, we moved to the cafe area downstairs and had coffee and ice cream. It was a very satisfying lunch with delicious steak. The Miyazaki beef sirloin steak lunch was so delicious!

I went out for lunch after a long time. I received a recommended lunch. The service was polite and good. I was able to relax in a private room and the meat was delicious. The dessert was downstairs, where you can relax. The meat and delicious vegetables were great, and you could choose between corn or pumpkin potage. You could also choose between fried rice or tea soba. I chose fried rice. No photos because I talked too much.

Today I had a luxurious lunch. It was a steak lunch with lobster. The steak lunch included appetizer, soup, lobster, steak, vegetables, bread, fried rice, miso soup, pickles, drink, and dessert. The lobster was served with tartar sauce, while the steak was served with steak sauce, salt, and ponzu. The buttery bread soaked in meat juices was delicious with the steak sauce. The miso soup with lobster was fragrant and tasty. Overall, it was a delicious and luxurious steak lunch. Thank you for the meal.

Since elementary school, this teppanyaki restaurant has been my go-to place. The quality of the meat is great, and the atmosphere is welcoming without being too formal. Every dish is so delicious that I can't help but think it's amazing! The bread soaks up the meat juices, and when they fry it with butter, it's incredibly tasty, so you have to try it! For the finishing touch, you can choose from pilaf, tea soba, or ochazuke. I recommend the pilaf, as they finely chop up the steak fat and mix it in. I've never found a teppanyaki place with better value than this one. It's my top recommendation!

The taste is stable and delicious! The portion size is great and the cost performance is good. However, this time the chef seemed like a veteran but unfortunately, the service was rushed and sloppy. The salad came out after the meat was cooked, and the pace of cooking the meat was too fast. It seemed like they were in a hurry to move on to the next customer. It was not a pleasant experience. I used this restaurant for a birthday celebration, and while the service has always been polite in the past, I hope to not be served by that particular chef again. I would like to see the return of the dessert matcha like in the old days.

I used it for lunch, but the parking lot was full so I had to park at a coin parking. When I parked at the coin parking, I received a drink coupon, which made me happy! The meat was really delicious, but the other items in the lunch set were just average. It was my first time using this place, but the chef talked too much, so I couldn't have a conversation at all with my friend whom I haven't seen in a while! It was a shame because I had a lot of things I wanted to talk about. We were finally able to talk when we had dessert at a different place. If you want to have a lot of conversations when meeting someone you haven't seen in a while, it might be better to avoid this place. Or, it would be good to inform them of the situation when making a reservation.

I visited during the daytime on a regular day. I made a reservation and arrived. There was a parking lot so I went by car. I sat in a private room and placed my order, which arrived quickly. The food was juicy and the salad was light and easy to eat. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant when I went to Sakai. I made a same-day reservation and was able to sit at the counter. I ordered the "Ise Ebi Teppanyaki Master Lunch" which included appetizers, soup, seafood (Ise Ebi), steak (60g each of fillet and sirloin), vegetables, Ise Ebi simmered in armor, pilaf (you can also choose soba or ochazuke), dessert, and a drink. The chef carefully explained each dish as he prepared them. The flavors were all delicious and I couldn't help but overeat. I kept thinking I wouldn't feel so full if I didn't eat the bread, but I couldn't resist. For dessert, we moved to the café space downstairs. It was a luxurious lunch. Thank you for the feast!

I went to Minami Kai Grill for the first time in 7 years. I have only been to the Chuo store, and this time I went to the Chuo store again! The Chuo store and Higashi store of Minami Kai Grill are located on the same premises, on the opposite side of Xavier Park. The nearest station is about a 10-minute walk from Sakai Station on the Nankai Main Line. *There is also a Chinchin train station nearby. *There are plenty of parking spaces, so it's not a problem to go by car. I have only been to the Chuo store, so I don't know about the others, but the Chuo store is beautifully designed. There is a large cow sculpture at the entrance, and you can enjoy the atmosphere. The interior is quite spacious, so it's difficult to describe, but we were seated at the counter in the back. *There are probably about 60 or 70 seats at the counter alone. This time, I splurged a bit and ordered the limited special sirloin steak 200g course and the special loin steak 220g course. I made a reservation by phone, and I was told that if there were no special sirloin available that day, it would be changed to a regular sirloin course. It's amazing that they only serve the special sirloin where they can! When we were seated, we were asked for drinks right away and then waited for a while. The appetizers arrived as soon as the drinks arrived! Smoked salmon, pate, and another dish that I forgot. While eating the appetizers, the chef came and warmed up the corn soup on the hot plate. After finishing the appetizers, they took away the plates and served the corn soup. The corn soup was rich and delicious! And then, a huge spiny lobster appeared on the hot plate. It was still alive and kicking! It was filleted right in front of us, plated, and served. The spiny lobster meat was firm and delicious! They squeezed lemon and served it with a special tartar sauce, which was great! And then, the moment we were waiting for!!! The special sirloin steak and special loin steak arrived! They had good cuts, and I was able to eat the special sirloin. The special loin had large marbling and looked incredibly delicious, while the special sirloin was huge like a rock. Both had a nice marbling, and just looking at them was exciting! We shared them, with me having the sirloin and my partner having the loin. At Minami Kai Grill, the meat is placed on bread, which absorbs the meat juice and is then baked and served. It's also delicious and addictive. The sirloin was amazing, with delicious fat spreading in the mouth, and I couldn't help but close my eyes and savor it. I forgot to take a picture, but they provide steak sauce, ponzu, and salt, so you can enjoy each piece of steak differently. The special sirloin was great! The sirloin with salt and the loin with steak sauce was my favorite. *I know it's not orthodox, but... The salad was brought out while we were eating the meat, and the dressing was delicious. After finishing the meat, we had the final rice dish! You can choose between pilaf, soba, or ochazuke, and since I have only had pilaf before and know how delicious it is, I chose pilaf without hesitation. *I'm not very adventurous. I had already removed the fat from the edge of the sirloin, so they finely chopped it and added it to the pilaf, enhancing the flavor with the meat fat. The pilaf was also very good. This time, I ordered a full course with spiny lobster for the first time, and they also served miso soup with spiny lobster during the pilaf, which was also delicious. We were full and finished the rice. We moved to another place for dessert. Dessert was a choice of sherbet or ice cream.

It was a special day at our house as we celebrated my partner's birthday at our favorite steak restaurant, Minami Kaiguriru, which we have been going to for 36 years since we got married. This month was my partner's birthday month and we decided to have a lunch there. The restaurant offers Miyazaki beef at a reasonable price, even though it is a branded beef, so it can be a bit pricey. We sat in a semi-private room on the second floor. We started with charcuterie and ratatouille salad with homemade dressing, which had just the right amount of tanginess and seaweed. My partner had corn soup while I had pumpkin soup. The meat was served on a hot iron plate, with both sirloin and lean meat options. We also had some sweet steak sauce and Miyazaki salt garlic chips with ponzu sauce. The steak sauce enhanced the flavor of the meat, and we enjoyed it with buttered toast. For the finale, we chose pilaf to go with the steak's fatty flavor. We were full after the bread and pilaf. For dessert, we went to the English-style cafe downstairs for delicious ice cream and coffee. Since we mentioned it was a birthday celebration, they took a photo of us as a gift. We were a bit embarrassed, so we didn't keep the photo.

Located a 3-5 minute walk from Hanataguchi Station is the teppanyaki restaurant Nankai Grill Nakaten. This long-standing teppanyaki restaurant offers carefully selected Miyazaki beef. It was selected as one of the top 100 steak restaurants in 2021. The spacious interior has multiple teppanyaki grills, making it suitable for family gatherings. I ordered the popular Teppanyaki Master Lunch, which includes 60g each of Miyazaki beef loin and fillet. The steak, with its low fat content and firm texture, was delicious. The meal also included a rich corn soup heated on the teppan, toast grilled with plenty of butter, and fried rice made with powdered cheese, all showcasing the benefits of teppanyaki cooking. Although it is about 40 minutes by Hankai tram from Tennoji, this teppanyaki restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Bon appétit!

Today, I had a meal with my family at my parents' house for the first time in a while. We came to this place that we have often used for celebrations since I was a child. The portions used to be too big in the past, but now they are just right. And the Miyazaki beef steak is amazing (*'▽'). We shared the filet and sirloin with my family. The popular spot for special occasions for the people of Sakai City is definitely Nankai Grill Chuuten this year. To celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, a milestone event, we decided to visit Nankai Grill Chuuten. Located in the heart of Sakai City, right in front of the Hankai Tramway Kitahanada-guchi Station, it had been 50 years since we last visited Xavier Park in front of the restaurant. Nankai Grill is famous for its Miyazaki beef teppanyaki, making it a dreamy restaurant for us. Another famous restaurant in Sakai is Mimi Uo, known for its udon suki. This time, we visited Nankai Grill Chuuten for the first time. The exterior of the restaurant resembles a Hida region merchant house, while the interior has a unique and luxurious German-style décor. We were guided to a private room on the second floor, where the chef would cook for us. We ordered the Takumi Lunch for 6,050 yen. The meal included appetizers, salad, soup, grilled vegetables, Hellenic steak, sirloin steak, pilaf, dessert, and coffee. The meat, consisting of 60g each of Miyazaki beef Hellenic and sirloin, was served with grilled vegetables and a delicious spread of condiments. The appetizers were flavorful, and the toast with plenty of butter was irresistible. The pilaf was expertly fried by a female staff member. For dessert, we were led to a lounge in the basement with a garden featuring a waterfall and colorful carp swimming. The restaurant in Sakai often imitates this style, and we would love to visit again for our next special occasion.

I rely on this place for birthdays and other special occasions. This time was my husband's birthday. We had a course with lobster and meat, with lean meat and sirloin. I always prefer lean meat. My husband also said maybe next time he'll just go for lean meat... He always orders sirloin when we have steak, but ends up saying he prefers lean meat. Maybe it's age-related. Even with sirloin, I can still feel the oil... And the lean meat here is really delicious. The cut this time was maybe ribeye? It was so tender and made me happy while eating. The lobster was also delicious, lined up on the teppan right in front of us. Looking forward to going back next time.

On weekdays, I arrived around 12:15 on a Friday. This is a popular restaurant, so it's better to make a reservation, but I went without one. Due to the pandemic, I was seated right away. It's a steakhouse with a Showa-era vibe where they cook the steak right in front of you. They use Miyazaki beef for an authentic steak experience. They perform a trick where they place the meat on top of bread. The meat is sweet and delicious. They also toast the bread with butter until it's crispy. The portion of meat is small, but I ended up feeling full from the bread.

Sakai's steak restaurant has a rugged exterior and the interior is the same. I had already ordered scallop and Miyazaki beef loin 220g. I had eaten a 300g pork for lunch, so I decided on that amount. The meat is delicious, but the salt is too strong. I told the chef about it and the stir-fried vegetables and pilaf that came after were just right. In the future, I will have to ask not only for the cooking level but also for the salt level.
