After the live show, I was starving. On this day, I went to the Kyocera Dome for the once-every-four-years event, DREAMSCOMETRUEWNDERRAND2023, which I always look forward to. For dinner, I had already researched a place in the Shinsaibashi area, called Midosuji Lodge. It's located in a building below the one where Katsuie, a Western-style restaurant, has moved to. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, with friendly and approachable staff. They offer a la carte and course options, and you can even order a course without a reservation, which is convenient. For drinks, I had the Pink Grapefruit Squash and the Lett Spritz, both refreshing options on a hot day. The main dish course included appetizers, soup, bread, salad, dessert, and coffee, with prices varying depending on the main dish chosen. The appetizers included cold beef, salmon marinated, and camembert fry, each meticulously prepared and delicious. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, served with a good quality olive oil. The red king crab salad was delightful, and the bisque soup was creamy and smooth. The shrimp fry was a highlight, with a large, sweet prawn and miso in the head. The hamburger steak was recommended by the restaurant, tender and flavorful. For dessert, I had milk gelato, chocolate cake, and changed my coffee to tea. The cozy ambiance, delicious food, and long-standing reputation make this restaurant a stable choice. I'm curious about trying other dishes there. Thank you for the wonderful meal, Midosuji Lodge!
