Located in B2 of Osaka Station Building No.2, Takaida Ramen has a rating of 3.62 on Tabelog. My first experience with Takaida Ramen was at the neighboring restaurant "Yamachan". I discovered the deliciousness of Takaida Ramen there, so this time I decided to try the one with a more traditional atmosphere. The red curtain with white letters reads "Chukasoba". The Chukasoba (regular size) is reasonably priced at 630 yen, and I opted for the large serving for 700 yen. The staff members have a unique and amusing vibe. The bowl arrived with a simple soy sauce ramen topped with a generous amount of chopped green onions. Unlike the previous place, only the green part of the onions is used here, as the white part was too spicy for me. Despite ordering the large serving, the portion was average. The noodles were medium thickness with a good chewiness. The soup was delicious! Takaida Ramen has a base of chicken broth and kelp, with a well-balanced flavor. The soy sauce used was dark in color but not overpowering in taste. It had a rugged and simple taste, which I enjoyed. The surprising highlight was the tasty chashu. It was well-seasoned, with a perfect balance of tenderness and fatty parts. It's been a while since I had such delicious chashu. Takaida Ramen is really tasty. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

During a business trip last year, I found a ramen shop called 7.5Hz on Tabelog. When I went there, they were unexpectedly closed that day. I was so sad because I really wanted to eat their ramen with lots of green onions. Finally, after a year, I was able to revisit the shop today. I ordered the Chashu ramen with extra green onions and a side of rice. The total cost was 1,130 yen, which is a great deal. After waiting about 10 minutes, the ramen arrived. Wow, the impact of the green onions was stronger than I imagined! The soup was quite salty. As for the green onions, they were surprisingly spicy. Maybe I shouldn't have added extra green onions. But I finished every last bit. Throughout the afternoon, my mouth was dominated by the taste of green onions, but it was actually quite enjoyable. The chashu was small but there was a generous amount, making it a luxurious bowl of ramen. There were two male staff members who provided very friendly service, which I appreciated. In any case, I was completely satisfied with my meal. They also offer set menus, which is great for customers. Thank you for the delicious meal, I will definitely come back again!

I really liked the cozy atmosphere of this small underground place. However, the soy sauce flavor was too strong for my liking, and simply placing chopped green onions on top made it taste raw. The noodles and chashu were delicious, but overall, I was a bit disappointed as my expectations were high.

I was tired from a business trip, so I decided to have dinner before heading home. Since Yama-chan is closed at night, I came here instead. The green onions are delicious! The chashu pork is also delicious! This time, I ordered the large serving, but getting the regular size with chashu pork bowl is also a good option. The light and satisfying taste that can be enjoyed anytime. Thank you for the meal!

This day, I landed in Itami by morning plane, finished welcoming guests in Umeda, and took a breath before having lunch at "Menya 7.5Hz+ Umeda branch" located in Osaka Station Front Building No. 2. It was around 3 pm when I had lunch. This restaurant is open all day, so even if you miss the lunch time, it's nice that it's not crowded. After researching nearby ramen shops, I was drawn to this shop's ramen. The name of the shop also has an impact, and I was curious about the "Osaka Kawaiida-style" genre that I had never heard of. I ordered the medium-sized Chinese soba with seasoned egg and rice (940 yen) with green onion topping (150 yen). Oh, this is quite an impact. The green onions are piled up so high. It's just right to sprinkle black pepper and red pepper together. It feels kind of junky. This local ramen called Osaka Kawaiida-style is served in the Kawaiida area of Higashi-Osaka City and the eastern part of Osaka City, with a super salty soy sauce base, chewy thick noodles, and a style topped with chashu and green onions. The soup is quite salty, but I can't help but scoop it up with the green onions that are crispy. The texture of the green onions is irresistible. With such a strong flavor, rice works well. This feeling is similar to eating Toyama Black. Put the chashu on the rice, take a bite of the green onions and soup, and eat the rice. Oh, I can't stop scooping up the soup until the green onions are gone. It was a taste that seemed addictive.

In the midst of Obon and a typhoon, I managed to reach the ramen shop 7.5Hz+. The former manager, Yamachan, has now opened his own shop and is working hard despite the adversity. I ordered the Chashu Ramen (large) for 900 yen and seasoned egg for 120 yen, totaling 1020 yen. The ramen was served after a while. The overall view of the dish. Due to the typhoon, Sagawa Express delivery service was suspended. They will close if they run out of green onions. A classic noodle lift shot that everyone loves. Delicious! The thick noodles with a firm texture combined with the sharp soy sauce broth create a perfect harmony. It's the epitome of Takaida-style ramen. The bamboo shoots. When paired with the chashu, the flavor explodes. The marinated egg is also excellent. It's been a while since I've had such good ramen. It was a great help for lunch refugees in a situation where most restaurants were closed. Even shops that usually don't have long lines had a long queue. It's a lifesaver for those wandering in the underground shopping area. I don't think it's unnecessary.

After more than 10 years, I revisited a ramen shop. Back then, the walls were covered with handwritten notes saying "I don't care about tsukemen at all~" inviting playful comments typical of Osaka. Now, instead of those notes, there is a macho character named Hertzman holding a tambourine. The ramen, which used to cost 600 yen, is now priced at 630 yen, showing a remarkable effort. The Chuka Soba costs 630 yen with toppings of green onions, menma, and chashu, which have remained unchanged over the years. The thick noodles go well with the rich soup, which has a noticeable taste of chicken broth and soy sauce with a hint of chemical seasoning. The flavor is intense, so I only drank a little bit of the soup. The rich soup of the Takaido style ramen remains the same in Umeda even now.

I want to be covered in leeks... Do you ever think about that sometimes? (laughs) Sometimes I have this strong desire to be covered in garlic and leeks, and I end up going all out with the leeks. A classic soy sauce ramen with lots of leeks! Well, it's a happy bowl for leek lovers ♥️

Menya 7.5Hz+ is my first visit in Umeda. I have been to a few other branches before, but it has been a while since I last visited this place. Today, I ordered the basic Chuka Soba with a side of white rice, so I didn't opt for the large portion. The taste instantly reminded me of the old days when they had a shop in a small alley (now they seem to have relocated nearby). It's my favorite taste of authentic Takaida style, and I used to frequent it a lot. The thick noodles provide a satisfying chew, and the char siu is flavorful and delicious. Pouring the soup and toppings over the white rice and slurping it all up really warms your belly. While I also enjoy Takaida and Sumiyoshi styles, I think 7.5Hz+ is still my top choice. The sweetness of the finely chopped green onions adds a special touch to the dish. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and drink. It was delicious! Thank you for the feast! I arrived at the restaurant on Tuesday around 11:30 AM. Luckily, I didn't have to wait and was seated immediately. The small restaurant had about 8-9 seats at the counter and was fully packed. I ordered the Chashu Ramen with medium thick noodles without any hesitation. It arrived in about 5 minutes. The soup had a traditional Chinese soba vibe and a rich, distinct flavor. The chashu and generous amount of green onions added a nice touch. The soy sauce-based medium thick noodles were new to me, but the overall simplicity of the ramen made it very enjoyable and easy to eat without getting tired of it. It's not a heavy ramen, but one that I could eat every week without getting bored. I felt a sense of familiarity and almost moved by this ramen. I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

Today's final ramen stop was at the highly-anticipated 7.5Hz. I barely made it before they closed at 8pm, so it was a bit of a challenge as a last meal. The interior had only counter seating, mostly for solo diners, but it was clear that this place was popular given the steady stream of customers coming in.
I ordered the "Chuka Soba," which had a soy sauce-based soup. The soup was light and refreshing at first, but as I ate more, the layers of umami flavors added depth to the dish. The noodles were thick and had a strong wheat aroma, providing a satisfying texture that paired perfectly with the light soy sauce soup. The chopped green onions added a bold presence, with a fresh crunch and a hint of spiciness when eaten raw, and a different texture when softened in the soup.
The thinly sliced chashu pork was a bit dry and had a slight gamey flavor, but when dipped in the soup, it blended well and became less noticeable. The soup was so delicious that I wanted to drink every last drop, and I even considered getting a refill if they offered it. And to top it off, the regular portion was only 630 yen, which is incredibly affordable for this quality. This place might just become one of my favorites! Thank you for the meal!

I had the regular size Chuka soba. The noodles were thick and had a good chewiness, but you can also choose thin noodles. The strong soy sauce soup goes well with the thickly sliced green onions. It's a small counter-only shop that quickly fills up, but the staff make sure to seat everyone. Thank you for the delicious meal!

After drinking during the day, the suggestion of going for ramen was quite a shock to me. But of course, I ordered a large serving! Even though I was already quite full... Oh well, I guess it's fine. The atmosphere, concept, and attention to detail at this place really impressed me. I arrived at Ramen Dai. Wow, the green onions are huge! Perfect for someone like me who loves green onions. When I tasted the soup, it was a refreshing soy sauce flavor and delicious. As I slurped the noodles, I noticed they were thick and firm, with a unique texture. I like it though, it reminds me of noodles I had somewhere before. Despite feeling quite full, when I stood up, I felt a bit uncomfortable... Thank you for the meal.

The Chukou Idaten-style ramen soup is sweet and savory with a slightly unique taste. I personally found it addictive, but opinions may vary. The chopped green onions may not be for everyone, but for onion lovers, it's irresistible. The thick noodles provide a satisfying chew. I opted for the chashu pork topping, which I highly recommend for just an additional 100 yen. I chose the large size and was completely satisfied. For those looking to add rice, the medium size with extra toppings is recommended. I will definitely be coming back. Despite the old appearance of Osaka Station Building, the food establishments offer high-quality and great value options.

I visited 'Menya 7.5Hz+ Umeda Store' on B2F of Osaka Station Building No. 2. The nearby coin parking costs 200 yen for 15 minutes. The restaurant has a small interior with a straight-line counter seating for 7. I visited on a Saturday at 6 pm and there were 2 people waiting outside. The table items include white pepper and Shichimi spice. The staff provided laid-back yet warm service. The female customer next to me mentioned feeling cold, as the air conditioning was quite strong, creating an ideal environment for enjoying ramen. I ordered the 'Chuka Soba with extra noodles' for 700 yen and added extra chashu for 120 yen. The soup had a simple flavor with a hint of soy sauce acidity, lacking a strong broth taste. However, the freshly cut green onions added a unique and appealing freshness to the soup. The thick noodles had a rich wheat flavor, the pork loin was firm, and the crunchy bamboo shoots added a nice texture. It was a satisfyingly indulgent bowl of ramen.

I chose the thick noodles for my ramen, the "Takaida style". The thick noodles with a strong soy sauce flavor! Topped with plenty of green onions and bamboo shoots. It was a quick meal after drinking at lunch. It was a bit salty but satisfying. I'm glad I didn't go for the large portion this time, the regular size was enough. Thank you for the meal!

It was the Chinese ramen. It was delicious. I liked it, but the person I went with said it was a bit salty, so it might depend on personal preference. I really enjoyed the green onions. I ordered thin noodles. I thought it would be better with thick noodles. Overall, I will definitely come back. I thought 600 yen for ramen of this quality was cheap.

Visited a popular restaurant in Osaka Station building for the first time. Arrived a little after 12pm and there were about 4 people in line. They took our order before entering the store.
- Order: Char siu ramen (large size) for 900 yen
The interior of the store only has counter seats. The Char siu ramen arrived quickly after ordering. The green onions sprinkled on top were a nice touch haha.
First, let's talk about the soup. It had a strong soy sauce flavor with a tangy taste that was addictive. Adding some black pepper from the counter enhanced the flavor even more.
The noodles were thick and had a satisfying chewiness. The char siu wasn't the melt-in-your-mouth type, but there was plenty of it, including small diced pieces, all for this great price.
Overall, the rich flavor, thick noodles, and generous amount of char siu left me feeling stuffed. All this for 900 yen is a great deal! Thank you for the meal!

The noodles are thick and have a good chewiness. I like the texture of the noodles. The soup has a strong broth flavor, not as salty as it looks, but you can taste it well. The chashu is average, but the portion is generous, and the chashu ramen in medium size is only 850 yen, which is great value for money.

Today, I had a business trip to Ashiya. On my way back, I stopped by Umeda and tried the Takaida-style ramen (Chinese noodles) for the first time. Chashu noodle, large serving for 900 yen.
