グルメハンター・酔いどれ天使
Located on the 1st floor of Ario Sapporo, at 2-20 Higashi 9-jo Higashi, Higashi-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido. This tonkatsu restaurant is inside the commercial facility Ario. The entrance displays sample menus that look very delicious. They offer great value lunch sets and seasonal limited-time menus. During lunchtime, there is a wait to enter, with chairs provided for waiting customers at the entrance. When I visited after 12 o'clock, there was already one person waiting. I didn't have to wait long before I could enter as well. The interior has a calm atmosphere, with high ceilings and a spacious layout. Partitions are set up between neighboring seats for COVID-19 measures and privacy protection. When you place your order, they promptly bring out the sauce and yuzu-flavored dressing. The lunch special is the Wako Gohan for 870 yen. I always go for the great value Rosu Katsu set. The shredded cabbage is piled high, with the Rosu Katsu looking delicious in front of it. The crispy coating has a light and fluffy texture, and the Rosu meat, while not very thick, is tender and delicious without any strong taste. The fatty part is sweet. The miso soup contains small clams, giving it a rich flavor. And with rice, miso soup, and cabbage refills available, the cost performance is excellent. When the dishes are served, a refill of green tea is provided in a teapot. The tea is brewed with tea leaves, giving it a rich and robust flavor that I enjoy. There is also a call button on the flat table to easily call a staff member for rice, miso soup, or cabbage refills. After I entered, office workers, families, and others quickly filled up the restaurant, and it was soon full. While the food is typically eaten with sauce, it would be nice if they also offered salt or karashi soy sauce for variety.
