I had always been curious about Katsura, a bakery in Temmabashi. This shop is famous for its Basque cheesecake, so this time I tried the small size. The top part is firm but not bitter at all! The inside is much more creamy than I expected!! Among all the Basque cheesecakes I've had, this one is top-level deliciousness (;;) It's also very mellow and delicious in sweetness. You can also feel the savory aroma of the cheese, making it a high-quality cheesecake. It definitely seems like their signature item. Even though it's a small size, it's quite big and very satisfying with just one piece. The coffee was 385 yen, so even if you order a set, it's just over 1000 yen, which is cheaper than a cafe. Plus, you can take it to go and enjoy it at room temperature. It's also nice that you can enjoy other cakes if you feel like it when dining in. I really liked it and want to come back again!

Visited around 12:20 on Saturday. Only one person in the store. It's a bit off from the station, but the interior is neat. There are many cakes around 600 yen. The Mont Blanc has a moderate sweetness, with meringue baked at the bottom as the base. Delicious. The cheesecake is rich and has a unique texture, very good. It's a taste that you don't find often elsewhere.

I visited a sweets shop in Osaka Tenmabashi for the first time and tried their Yena (chocolate mousse cake). The atmosphere of the shop was chic and simple, and I was able to be seated immediately without waiting. The mousse was moist and smooth with a good chocolate aftertaste. It was delicious! Overall, I found the shop to be very likable with no negative points in my evaluation.

I was able to eat there? Around 14:40, the restaurant had about 30% of its customers. I chose the recommended Basque cake from the sign and ordered orange juice. I paid in advance with my card, a total of 1127 yen. I sat at a counter seat in the back. The food was served in about 5 minutes. The cheesecake was smooth and delicious inside, but I didn't understand the point of baking it. The surface was hard. The orange juice was average. I might have been better off going somewhere else where the cakes looked more appealing.

This place has a vibe of a top-notch patisserie in the city. I discovered it after it made it to the top 100 list. I ordered the Basque cheesecake and the fig open pie. There is seating available for dining in. The Basque cheesecake is definitely creamy with a generous amount of cheese, but personally, I prefer a bit more of a crispy flavor on the surface.

I have eaten the cakes at Laplace many times! Laplace offers a unique combination of chocolate, strawberry, and lemon, which allows you to enjoy a refreshing taste despite being chocolate. The price is also reasonable, which is a plus point!

I visited Patisserie Katsura. I had a meal there. I ordered Basque and Mont Blanc with iced coffee. The Mont Blanc had a coffee-flavored meringue and rich chestnut, which was delicious. The Basque had a sweetness from the cheese but was not too heavy and also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

After crossing Temmabashi, there was a quiet shop among the apartment buildings in Nishi-Temma. The shop is not very spacious, but it is filled with a nice aroma. The Basque cheesecake is great because it can be carried at room temperature. I followed the advice to chill it slightly in the refrigerator, and the moist texture was delicious. The baked goods also looked tasty. Next time, I think I'll buy an assortment as a souvenir.

I ordered a Basque cheesecake for takeout - it was rich and creamy. I bought a whole cake, but it was gone in no time. It's a great gift that will be appreciated. La Patisserie Katsura, highly recommended!

I have never encountered such a delicious cheesecake before. Thank you for making such a delicious cake. I will continue to visit here. Although the other cakes look very delicious, I still choose cheesecake. I would like to use the cafe next time. Looking forward to it.

Basque cheesecake specialty shop "Katsura"♡ The owner learned at the renowned "La Vina" in Spain and worked as a patissier at the famous "GAZTA" in Shirokan, Tokyo✧‧˚ It's a dream come true to be able to taste that coveted flavor in Osaka too! Located about a 5-minute walk from the recently reviewed RJ Cafe...ᰅ‹ᰅ‹ (̨̡ ¨̮ )̧̢ I made a reservation by phone in advance and visited the shop. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈⿴
Basque cheesecake (small) 675 yen x 2 pieces
There are two sizes available, small (about 8cm) and large (about 15cm). It's best to eat it after taking it out of the fridge for about 10-15 minutes♡ It's incredibly creamy, smooth, and rich! The balance of sweetness and saltiness is exquisite, and the slightly bitter and fragrant caramel part adds a delicious touch ( ᵒ̴̶̷̤ᗜᵒ̴̶̷̤ ) ̖́- It's rich but surprisingly not heavy. We savored each bite with care♬ This might be the best cheesecake I've ever had✧‧˚⿴
Vanilla Sable 561 yen
A crispy sable with a hint of vanilla. It was also delicious♡ It can last for about half a month.
Assorted baked goods
A gift for my mom friends୨୧⑅* They said, "It was really delicious♡" after trying it☺︎ The shop has been selected as one of the top 100 shops, and the taste is truly deserving☝︎ It was a hot day when I visited, so I couldn't take the cakes home, but the whole cakes looked beautiful and delicious♪ There is also an eat-in space, so it would be nice to enjoy them there when you have time. It's an area I don't visit often, but I definitely want to come back again!!✎
・The Basque cheesecake can last for up to 3 days, including the day of purchase.
・Reservations are only accepted by phone, not through Instagram DM.
・PayPay is not accepted, but other electronic payment methods are.

I heard that the Basque cheesecake is delicious so I visited. Even though I'm not particularly a fan of cheesecake, I found it delicious. The other cakes are also delicious overall. However, what I personally recommend here is the Gateau Basque. I was impressed by both the basic cherry confiture and the limited edition pineapple inside. The canelé and brownie are also delicious. The canelé has a crispy exterior, while the brownie is moist. They are also happy to accommodate reservations. Please be aware that they may run out of items by early afternoon.

This is a shop near Temmabashi, a fiercely competitive area for cake shops. It seems that the Basque cheesecake is popular here. Since it was past 5 o'clock, there were only a few cakes left. I bought the Tart Citron and Charron, and also decided to get the Basque. There was also an eat-in space available. All of them were incredibly delicious. The popular Basque was rich and melted in the mouth, but not too heavy, so I could easily finish it. Both cakes were very delicious. Next time, I want to go early and buy a variety of cakes.

I walked from Temmabashi Station. It was my first visit to Kyujitsu no Yu. Almost all the fresh cakes were sold out. There are a few counter seats available for eating in. This time, I got takeout.
- Florentine Chocolate: ¥880 + tax
Florentine cut into a trapezoid shape. Covered in chocolate. There was a lot in it, very satisfying.
- Basque Cheesecake: ¥625
A souvenir. It was very delicious. I want to come back for eating in and try the fresh cakes.

On this day, the cheesecake was sold out so I brought home some baked goods instead. The texture was moist and the flavor was rich. It's a cake but also has a donut-like feel. Chocolate Fig, Almond Cake, Chocolate Cake. Next time, I'll try the cheesecake again! To be continued...

Today, after passing through the cherry blossom street at the Mint Bureau, I researched a delicious cake shop before heading to lunch. I ended up at a slightly off-track shop, but finally arrived! The sweets cakes were sparkling and wonderful, but since I still had more walking to do, I chose a Basque cheesecake small size for takeout. It cost 625 yen (excluding tax). I was advised to refrigerate it well and let it sit out for about 15 minutes before eating. The inside was smooth and creamy, truly rich and delicious. I also got an apple muffin for 400 yen (excluding tax), which had a crumbly and unique texture. I prefer a slightly moister texture, but some people love this kind of crumbly texture. The previous customer also ordered a Basque cheesecake and asked for an ice pack, so I followed suit and asked for one too. The staff kindly included it, which was reassuring. I wonder if they normally include it for baked goods? Anyway, it's good to know it can last for 3 days and make a great souvenir. Next time, I want to try a sparkling cake! My daughter mentioned that she had brought this cake as a gift to a friend's house before, so it seems this shop is quite popular.

I love the Basque cheesecake from Patisserie Katsura. It's the best cheesecake I've ever had. I recommend chilling the Basque Cheesecake Small (675 yen) in the refrigerator and taking it out about 15 minutes before eating. The inside becomes smooth and creamy. It feels dense when you hold it. The surface is crispy, the inside is smooth and rich, but the aftertaste is refreshing. It's creamy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. It's a luxurious and happy moment.

Due to various circumstances, I revisited the store in the evening of the same day as I had some errands near the store. I ended up purchasing the Sharonne and Financier that caught my eye. The Sharonne is a caramel almond cookie with caramel cream on top and vanilla mousse, just as described. There was also a bit of financier dough on top of the cookie. As you can see, the outer layer is caramel cream, inside is milk mousse, and further inside is another layer of caramel cream, making it a three-layer treat. I love caramel, so this dessert was a perfect match for me!

My daughter loves Basque cheesecake, so I was looking for a good shop in Osaka and found La Patisserie Katsura. Oh? The other cakes look delicious too... I trusted my instincts and arrived just after the opening at 11 am. Even though it was just after opening, there was already a couple eating in the café space, and several customers had already taken out... It's quite a popular shop. While I was paying, more and more customers were coming in... I'm glad I came early... I took photos to decide with my family what to get, and the lineup at Cocoro Odoru made my heart race, I can't wait to go home and eat... Based on other people's reviews, I bought Basque cheesecake (apparently the only recipe from a famous bar in Spain that a Japanese person was able to get), mille-feuille, Paris-Brest, and financiers for home use... I also bought an apple muffin and a set of baked goods for a gift. After trying them, I have to say... everything was amazing!! ★ Mille-feuille is my number one recommendation! The rich buttery pastry and creamy custard... not to mention the caramel cream on top of the pastry that elevates this mille-feuille to another level. The caramel cream, which is my favorite because it's properly caramelized... Amazing!! ★ Basque cheesecake As advertised, it is a rich cheesecake made with plenty of natural cheese from Europe. The sweetness is just right, with a refreshing taste, and the burnt top adds bitterness and aroma, creating the perfect balance! Some reviews mentioned that the texture is slightly different between the large and small sizes, so I compared them and indeed... my impression is that the large one has a more melty center, while the small one is a bit firmer. It's a matter of preference, so please take it into consideration! ★ Paris-Brest The three siblings look very cute. The praline almonds on the sides and the chocolate cream in the middle... you can enjoy three delicious flavors! The customer service was also very pleasant, and it was a really nice shop! I plan to visit again soon to try other items on the menu.

Basque cheesecake is very popular at La Patisserie Katsura. I came to buy the Basque cheesecake, but I also wanted to eat cake, so I prayed that there would be a seat available for dining in. Luckily, there was a good timing and I was able to have cake as well! I'm so happy! For takeout, I got the Basque cheesecake for 659 yen (tax included) which was delicious. I also ordered the Financier for 227 yen (tax included), which was also very good. For dining in, I had the Corantan for 572 yen (tax included), a sophisticated cake with fig jam on caramel rum dough and rum mousse. I also had the Yena for 583 yen (tax included), a chocolate dough with mascarpone cream and milk chocolate mousse. Both were delicious, beautiful, and stylish. I wanted to try everything, but I decided to restrain myself and save some for next time. They also have plenty of baked goods that make great gifts. I had a wonderful and delicious time. Thank you very much. I will definitely visit again.

I received it before and it was so delicious that I really wanted to eat it again, so I went directly to the store. There is also an eat-in space, with a clean and modern interior. There are also baked goods, but the Basque cheesecake is a must here! Following the instructions, let it sit at room temperature for a while before eating. It's a real Basque cheesecake with no extra ingredients. Thank you for the meal! I will visit again if I get the craving!
