Overall rating on Tabelog: 3.62 Date of visit: Friday, September 8, 2023, 20:20 Ordered: - Shoyu Ramen 900 yen + Noodle Large Size 150 yen - Salt Ramen 900 yen + B Set Half Fried Rice 300 yen Upon arrival, there was no wait and I was seated immediately. The interior of the restaurant had counter seats and table seats arranged with a spacious layout. I chose a table seat. Salt Ramen is the signature dish of this restaurant. The noodles were medium-thick, flat, curly noodles similar to Kitakata Ramen, with a chewy texture. The soup was a clear, light salt broth with a strong clam-like umami flavor, not overly rich, so it was delicious! However, it didn't leave a lasting impression as an incredibly delicious salt ramen. Shoyu Ramen had the same noodles as above. The soup was a clear, light soy sauce broth, but it had a slightly different element of a ginger-like flavor that didn't quite suit my taste. The service was handled by the owner alone, but it was polite and attentive.

Salt Ramen 930 yen It was my first ramen in a month and a half. Arrived at 11:45 with no wait. It seemed tough as they were working alone. The soup was slightly salty and very light. The noodles were flat and curly. The rare chashu was delicious.

There is a recommended ramen shop in Nakazaki-cho, with salt ramen being the highlight. The clear and light soup pairs well with the flat noodles and kaiware (radish sprouts). The fried shrimp senbei adds an interesting accent. The taste is delicious in a normal way, but the shop name and the BGM inside the shop... seems like they really like L'Arc-en-Ciel, haha. I'm interested in trying other ramen flavors, so I will come back again.

I went to eat cold salt ramen. It was not crowded, probably because it was the day after the Tenjin Festival. I actually wanted to try the flat noodles, but I'll save that for next time. The cold salt ramen was light and refreshing, perfect for those feeling a bit of summer fatigue. I enjoyed it very much.

I had the recommended salt ramen and small rice set for lunch on a regular day (1,000 yen). I think it's better than average. The ramen has a strong flavor, which goes well with the rice. The thick, flat noodles provide a satisfying texture. I thought it might be the case from the name of the restaurant, and indeed, the TV in the restaurant was playing L'Arc-en-Ciel videos. I figured the owner must be from the same generation as me.

After having dinner, I still felt a bit hungry so I decided to search for my favorite ramen shop and ended up stopping by this place. The recommended dish was the salt ramen, which is perfect because I love salt ramen. The soup was beautiful and when I took a sip, it was delicious. I found a great restaurant! I devoured the ramen in no time. The noodles were just right. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. The guy in the kitchen was too handsome, couldn't ask for more. I will definitely go back. Thank you for the meal!

Today's third stop is here. We arrived around 1:40 PM and were able to enter without waiting. For the second stop, we had soy sauce ramen, so this time we ordered salt ramen. It arrived shortly and when I took a sip of the soup, it had a rich flavor and the saltiness was just right, very delicious. The curly noodles were also delicious. The only thing was that the chashu wasn't quite to my liking. Taking that into consideration, it was still a very high-level salt ramen. Thank you for the meal.

I stayed in Nakatsu for a business trip to Osaka this time. I was exploring nearby ramen shops for dinner. I found Ciel on Tabelog. Since it had just opened, it was not crowded. I ordered the salt ramen without hesitation. After ordering, I read the menu comments. It can be made without shiso leaves. I don't like shiso leaves. However, it goes perfectly with salt ramen. It was light but had a rich flavor. It was delicious.

Salt ramen has a sweet taste with a nice accent of shiso, and the flat curly noodles are chewy and delicious. The shrimp crackers might not be necessary. The half-fried rice is light but tasty. The portion size is about enough for one person and feels like a good deal.

I visited Ramen Ciel in Naka-Zakicho, Osaka for the first time. Among the many popular restaurants in this area, I believe this place offers a unique and consistent bowl of ramen. Their specialty is Shio (salt) ramen. The owner is a big fan of L'Arc-en-Ciel, and the restaurant is filled with their music and merchandise. The Shio ramen reminded me of the simple and delicious salt ramen I used to enjoy in Hakodate, Hokkaido. The clear soup had a rich umami flavor, with hints of dried scallops and seafood. The addition of large leaf was a nice touch, and the shrimp chips added a delightful crunch. This Shio ramen, crafted by the owner who loves both L'Arc-en-Ciel and ramen, is truly a masterpiece. Thank you for the delicious lunch, dear owner. Enjoy!

Visited Ramen Ciel for the first time. It's a ramen shop in Nakazakicho that I've been curious about for a while. When I entered the shop, there was only one person who seemed to be the owner managing everything. It looked really tough! I ordered the Salt Ramen (900 yen) and the B Set (half fried rice for 300 yen). It arrived in about 5 minutes! The flat noodles were light and tangled well with the soup, which was very delicious. The chopped shiso leaves added a nice accent. Overall, it was well-balanced and I didn't get tired of it until the end. It was the best salt ramen I've ever had! By the way, you can change the flat noodles to thin noodles and ask to remove the shiso leaves when ordering. Also, please note that cash is the only payment method for lunch, so you can't use cards or electronic payments. I was very satisfied with this ramen shop! I would like to come back again.

Today I visited this place. I arrived on a Saturday after 7 pm and the restaurant was quite empty with only 3 people inside. Despite being a popular place, I was a bit worried. I ordered salt ramen and half fried rice. The dishes were prepared efficiently and arrived in about 5 minutes. The presentation was either a hit or miss type. First, I tried the soup, and it was a hit. It had an incredible umami flavor with a perfect balance of saltiness that even had a hint of sweetness. It easily ranks among the top ramen I've ever had. Next, I tried the noodles which were flat and picked up the soup well, allowing me to enjoy the flavor of both the noodles and the soup. The toppings included shrimp crackers, two slices of pork chashu, daikon radish, green onions, and shiso leaves. The chashu had minimal seasoning, so it's best enjoyed with the soup. The soup was chicken-based, adding to the richness of the pork flavor. The shrimp crackers were unnecessary in my opinion. Overall, this high-quality salt ramen in Kita-ku is a must-try. It's likely the best salt ramen in Umeda area, and I later discovered that it was opened by the former head chef of a renowned salt ramen shop in Ibaraki, which explains its excellence. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

This is ramen Ciel!! For lunch in Umeda, a bit away from the city center in Nakazakicho. It's a little walk from the station, but it's just past 12 o'clock. The restaurant is quite busy! This time, I had the salt ramen with seasoned egg. It has a chicken salt clear soup, a clean and clear soup with just the right amount of saltiness. You can also taste the refreshing flavor of shiso. The slightly curly medium-thick noodles go well with the shiso-flavored soup, making it delicious. The texture of the white leeks and kaiware is good, and the arare (rice cracker?) or shrimp senbei (rice cracker) soaked in the soup is also delicious. The seasoned egg is well-flavored, and the yolk is perfectly tasty. The thinly sliced chashu is juicy with just the right amount of fat, tender, and delicious. It was a delicious bowl with a great flavor of shiso!

The salt ramen with seasoned egg and half-fried rice was delicious. The soup had just the right punch, making it my favorite salt ramen. The snacks served also seemed to have a purpose, as they added a slight change in flavor when dipped in the soup. The seasoned egg had a strong flavor, and the curly flat noodles matched well with the salt. The chashu had little fat and overall, the ramen was well-executed. The half-fried rice was light and not too heavy, complementing the salt ramen nicely. I'm full and satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Ramen Ciel is a ramen shop opened in February 2017 by the former manager of Ramen Uroko Ibaraki store. The menu item recommended is the Ajitama Shio Ramen priced at ¥950. The soup is clear and rich in chicken flavor, with a hint of sharpness from the seasoning and a smooth chicken oil added for depth. The noodles are firm with a chewy texture, providing a satisfying bite. Toppings include thick slices of chashu with a gentle sauce, a flavorful seasoned egg, sprouts, shiso leaves, and Chinese shrimp crackers. The soup gradually reveals a sweet taste as you eat, and the refreshing aftertaste of the salt ramen complements the noodles well.

This is also a restaurant I have wanted to visit for a while. It took me years to finally go because my hunger never seemed to match up with the timing. The standard dish is salt ramen. I ordered the Nakazaki mixed noodles for 800 yen and the B set half fried rice. As you can see from the photo, the mixed noodles were different from what I expected. It was not a typical mixed noodle dish with few ingredients, but rather a completely soupless noodle dish. The flat noodles and chewy texture were to my liking. The half fried rice seemed to have forgotten the salt, as it had a subtle hint of broth flavor. I ended up pouring the remaining soup from the mixed noodles into it to finish the dish. It may not have been the original performance of the restaurant...

Date and Time of Visit: March 24, 2023, 7:55 PM On my way back from work, I stopped by "Ramen Ciel" with a young friend. The restaurant is located along the Toyosaki Sagisu Line, connecting Nakatsu and Tenjinbashi-suji Rokuchome. I had researched the restaurant information beforehand and it had been a strong candidate for about five years. The previous night, a VTuber I like was passionately talking about late-night ramen, which inspired me to visit. It's been a while since I had ramen twice in one day, maybe since my younger days. I ordered the "extra chashu salt ramen" with the B set (half fried rice). My young friend also ordered the same, and we both had a positive impression. Food & Taste: 4.1 The "extra chashu salt ramen" was covered with so much chashu that you couldn't see the noodles. The noodles were unique, with a super curly texture that was firm and chewy. The soup was a clear golden color, smooth and rich in flavor. It was easy to drink and felt like it could seep into your body endlessly. The chashu slices were tender and melted in your mouth. The fried senbei served as a palate cleanser, which was a nice touch. There was also a hint of chopped shiso floating in the soup, adding a moment of Japanese warmth. Despite my tendency to feel unwell after consuming hot soups, I couldn't resist finishing the whole bowl. Service: 3.3 The staff provided attentive service with a pleasantly humble demeanor. They promptly informed us that they were out of eggs as soon as we were seated. Atmosphere: 3.3 The restaurant's location was a bit quiet and slightly off the beaten path, away from the bustling dining areas near the station. The interior had brick-like walls and a cozy atmosphere. The background music consisted of Japanese and Western songs from the early Heisei era. There were two customers before us and one after, with the former appearing to be there for drinks. Cost Performance: 3.2 The "extra chashu salt ramen" was priced at 1050 yen, with the B set costing an additional 300 yen. Considering the quality, the price felt reasonable, especially for a dinner visit. It was a price range that felt accessible and worth it. Overall, this restaurant seems suitable for various occasions such as seeking good food, post-drinking meals, or casual dining. I regret waiting five years to visit this excellent establishment.

Today (3/17), I wandered around the area near Nakazakicho on the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line. After eating a bowl of shirotama soba at a noodle shop near the station, I checked out other restaurants on my smartphone and found this place nearby. I had been wanting to visit this place for a while, so I went there right away. I entered the restaurant and took a seat at a table. This place specializes in salt ramen, but I ordered the "shoyu ramen (850 yen)" without using a ticket machine. The bowl arrived quickly, with medium-thick flat noodles lying in a clear soy sauce-colored soup. On top, there were slices of chashu pork, something that looked like shrimp senbei, chopped white onions, and sprouts. I took a sip of the soup and found it to be very gentle and quite delicious. The slippery texture of the noodles, similar to kishimen, was also quite tasty. I don't know what the salt flavor tastes like, but this soy sauce ramen was pretty good. As I continued to eat, I murmured to myself about the flavors, and I finished the bowl, feeling satisfied with my second meal of the day.

I wanted to go to a ramen shop but it was temporarily closed, so I searched on Tabelog and found this shop. I was drawn to their salt ramen and decided to visit for the first time. I ordered the Ajitama Salt Ramen with B set (half fried rice set). The soup was clear and light, but surprisingly flavorful. It was my first time trying flat noodles and I loved it. The soup had various flavors, not just plain salt. The chashu was a large, thin slice but not heavy at all. I usually get indigestion from chashu, but this one went down easily. I really enjoyed the fried rice here, it was light and not greasy. The atmosphere in the shop was nice, with L'Arc-en-Ciel music videos playing constantly.

■Food I ate - Salted Egg Ramen - Half-fried Rice I don't usually eat salted ramen, but I was drawn to the title of being the most popular and decided to order it. The soup was clear, the saltiness was mild and easy to drink, with a good depth of flavor. The noodles were flat and curly, chewy and light, and mixed well with the soup, making it delicious. The fried rice was nicely fluffy, with a good aroma and a well-balanced mix of ingredients, also offering a gentle deliciousness.
