Recently, I visited Kisu, a restaurant that specializes in low-temperature cooking, and every dish was exquisite. The meat had an incredible juiciness and tenderness that can only be achieved through low-temperature cooking, and the steak was especially melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The chef's skills were outstanding, bringing out the flavors of the ingredients to their fullest. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm, and the staff provided attentive service, allowing me to enjoy a special moment. I definitely want to visit again!

I went to this place on a friend's recommendation. Since the restaurant was in Kabukicho, I felt a bit anxious, but it turned out to be fine. There was a bit of a trick to getting through the door, and my friend and I had some fun figuring out how to open it, haha. I first ordered a highball, which was wonderfully chilled and very delicious. For snacks, I tried quail eggs with garlic and the rolled omelet. Both were incredibly tasty, and the drinks kept flowing! I was particularly amazed by the quantity and quality of the grated daikon served with the rolled omelet. I've never encountered such generous portions at a restaurant before, and as a fan of grated daikon, it was an absolute delight. I even added a bit of the restaurant's special soy sauce and enjoyed it just on its own—it was fantastic!
I also ordered grilled beef tongue. It was great on its own or with a squeeze of lemon, and I had fun experimenting with different ways to enjoy it. There were many other tempting items on the menu, so I certainly want to visit again when I'm in Shinjuku! Lastly, and I think this is important, I have to mention that the restroom was super clean!

A hidden gem teppanyaki restaurant in Kabukicho. The interior is clean and suitable for a date. Since the steak takes some time to prepare, we indulged in the cut steak. It was generous in portion and delicious. We ordered the ichibo and harami steaks, and they are definitely worth the wait! For the finish, we had garlic rice. I also heard the pasta is delicious, so I want to try that next time. Thank you for the meal!

Hidden on the third floor of a building in Shinjuku is a secret barbecue restaurant. You can only enter by finding a switch hidden in a magical bookshelf, and initial visits require an inquiry (laughs). Once you open the door, you step into a dazzling and mystical atmosphere. At the tables, the word "KISUKE" shines brightly. This time, we had dinner in a regular private room, and due to the entrance and the 6 PM time slot, we had almost the entire place to ourselves. The meat was, of course, delicious, and the dishes like mentaiko pasta, clam chowder, and dessert pudding received scores of over 90. I was very satisfied. The staff was also beautiful and very attentive. As a parting gift, we received a bottle of dashi soy sauce.
One downside was that the menu images on the ordering touchscreen were slow to load, making it quicker to check photos on Tabelog with my smartphone. Some items listed on Tabelog are also no longer available. Aside from that, it was almost perfect, and my girlfriend praised it as "the best ever!" I'm intrigued by items like omelette rice, garlic rice, and pancakes, so I'll definitely come back.

It's a place without a sign at the entrance, so it's hard to find, but the food was delicious.
