I'm right in the middle of Golden Week, but I'm going to work today. However, to enjoy a bit of a holiday feeling, I decided to have lunch out. I went to "Hosomichi" in Kyobashi. I arrived a little after noon and the restaurant was about 70% full. It's quite popular in this competitive area! Almost everyone seemed to be having tsukemen, but I opted for a ramen with soup. I ordered the "Ramen All Toppings" with rice. It arrived in about 5 minutes. The bowl was filled with motsu (tripe), chashu, egg, menma (bamboo shoots), garlic sprouts, cabbage, green onions, nori (seaweed), and it looked very luxurious! I started with the cabbage and garlic sprouts for a veggie first bite. The broth was rich and creamy with a hint of fishiness that initially made me think it was a tonkotsu fish broth, but it turned out to be chicken. The balance of saltiness, richness of chicken broth, and subtle fish umami was excellent. The motsu was tender and flavorful, perfect with the rich chashu and nori on top of rice. The egg was a bit plain, which was a bit disappointing. The menma had a nice crunch to it, which I enjoyed. The amount of toppings was overwhelming, showcasing the generosity of the bowl. I'm curious about their curry ramen, so I might try that next time. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

I'm usually more of a ramen person than a tsukemen person, but since it's the specialty of this restaurant, I decided to go with the tsukemen. I ordered extra motsu (offal). The soup had a unique flavor with the richness of the motsu coming through. The noodles were thick like udon, but they paired well with the soup. You can adjust the portion size for free up to 2.5 servings, and the soup is served in an iron pot so it stays warm for a long time. They even reheat it for you if you ask for soup refills. Great service. I'm planning to try the ramen next time. I also make Moroccan cuisine recipe videos on YouTube. You can search for "世界の料理をご自宅で モロッコ" to find them.

I ordered the all-topping motsu ramen. It was a delicious seafood-based tsukemen. The motsu was in the soup, giving it a taste similar to motsu nabe. The noodles were thick like udon, and they paired well with the rich seafood soup. It was very tasty.

Tsukemen (extra large) for 950 yen. First, the amount of noodles is asked, but the price is the same, so I choose the extra large (375g). On the other side of the counter, the offal is being seared with a burner, which gets me excited. Then, something unfamiliar to me is placed in front of me. The soup in the iron pot is tilted to keep it from getting cold, and the noodles in the bowl are completely white, unlike any ramen I've seen before. The interesting flavor surprisingly turns out to be quite standard, with a seafood-based soup and plain noodles. There are four pieces of offal, which also surprisingly lack any strong taste, in a good way. I start to get a little bored halfway through, so I switch it up with some shichimi (yuzu flavor) for variety... In the end, I'm stuffed. I was impressed by how much thought went into this dish.

Udon-like ramen, ramen-like udon. Located in the Shinkyo-bashi shopping street, this popular restaurant with a stylish exterior in black tones has been featured in various media outlets. Customers purchase food tickets from a vending machine outside before entering the restaurant, which has around 10 counter seats. While I was able to enter smoothly on this day, it is recommended to go with some extra time as there can be a wait during peak hours.
On this visit, I tried the following:
- Tsukemen with everything: featuring wagyu beef tripe, seared chashu, half-boiled seasoned egg, and roasted seaweed. The thick noodles, similar to udon, paired perfectly with the rich seafood and chicken broth-based dipping sauce. The wagyu beef tripe was a unique and delicious addition that you can only find here.
On another visit, I tried:
- Ramen with everything: including wagyu beef tripe, seared chashu, half-boiled seasoned egg, and roasted seaweed. This dish, with curly noodles, had an impressive visual impact and was satisfying to eat. It was undeniably delicious.
Next, I look forward to trying the tripe curry tsukemen with a side of rice on my next visit. Thank you for the meal!

I used to go to this place frequently when I was in college, but I felt like eating it again after a long time, so I came alone! Since the first time I tried tsukemen was at Hosomen, I always use it as a standard when thinking about eating tsukemen somewhere else haha. It's always delicious no matter when I eat it... It's not just the typical seafood flavor, but the rich chicken broth in the soup... I have never found any tsukemen better than this one. The noodles are already like udon, so some people may have preferences for noodles, but the fact that you can get extra noodles for free makes this place very reasonable. When I was a student, I always ordered the extra-large portion haha, but today I settled for the large portion! The way they sear the motsu makes it have a fragrant taste! Delicious!!! I will definitely go again (◜◡◝)

Hosomichi [5-1-18 Higashinoda-cho, Miyakojima-ku, Osaka City, Osaka] Around 10 pm, I was searching for ramen in Osaka Kyobashi and found this place that was open until 11 pm. It seemed to be a popular spot and was quite crowded. I ordered the "motsu-mashi tsukemen" with an extra serving of noodles (150g) for 1250 yen. The noodles were unique as they were served in a tilted ceramic bowl, and they had a chewy texture similar to udon noodles. The dipping sauce was served in a metal container, which seemed to help keep it warm. The grilled motsu floating in the sauce was delicious. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I think I could easily finish 1.5 servings (200g) of noodles. The restaurant only has counter seats and an open kitchen style. You pay at a ticket machine before ordering, making it easy for solo diners to visit. [Opening Hours] 11:00-16:00, 17:00-23:00 [Closed on] Tuesdays [Payment Methods] Cash, PayPay [Parking] Not available

I ordered the large serving of motsu-tsukemen. I bought a meal ticket from the ticket machine outside the restaurant and chose the portion size inside. You can even get a free upgrade to an extra-large serving. The motsu (offal) and chashu were seared and very delicious. They also provided condiments like their unique sansho pepper, ichimi, and shichimi, which added to the enjoyment until the end. I'm curious about trying the curry motsu-tsukemen next time.

I visited a tsukemen restaurant in Osaka Kyobashi for the first time! I arrived on a Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock and was seated immediately without waiting outside. The restaurant is simple with only an L-shaped counter. I ordered the motsu tsukemen, which had chewy motsu and refreshing noodles. It was delicious!

Today's lunch was at a rare spot in Kyobashi. Let's have some ramen. I decided to go to "Hosomichi" shop. It's a 5-minute walk from JR Kyobashi Station. It seems to be a sister shop of the famous ramen shop "Menya Takakura Nijo" in Kyoto. It operates on a ticket system. Since it was my first time, I ordered the classic motsu-tsukemen (950 yen). You can choose the weight of the noodles: small: 150 grams (1 serving), regular: 225 grams (1.5 servings), large: 300 grams (2 servings), extra-large: 375 grams (2.5 servings). It's nice that you can get a large serving at no extra charge. This time, I ordered a regular serving. While waiting, I saw them using a gas burner to sear the offal. The seared aroma whetted my appetite. The noodles were elegantly white. The tsukemen noodles are pure white. The noodle dough is made from wheat flour, salt, water, and a little vinegar, and aged for a whole day before being made. It's chewy like udon. It has a smooth texture and a firm bite. The broth is a blend of chicken umami and sweetness, with a strong seafood flavor. It was topped with seared offal intestines. Surprisingly, the umami of the offal didn't seem to melt into the broth. I was looking forward to the combination of offal umami and seafood flavors, so I was a little disappointed. Nevertheless, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal! Since I introduce shops mainly in Osaka, please take a look at my website. Feel free to check out my Instagram too! (@channpoko_channpoko)

Located in a shopping street about a 5-minute walk from Kyobashi Station, this ramen and tsukemen shop was not crowded when I visited between 12pm and 1pm. I tried the motsu tsukemen, and while the noodles were delicious, I didn't quite enjoy the dipping sauce. It was too lightly flavored and didn't cling well to the noodles.

I came here based on the high rankings and good reviews on Tabelog in Kyobashi. If you love tsukemen, you have to come here! And if you love motsu (offal), you also have to come! When I arrived, I was drawn to the sudachi tsukemen because it was hot outside... But wait! If I choose that, can I still have the motsu? So in the end, I went with the motsu tsukemen (regular). It's a ticket system, but if you pay with PayPay, you can order inside the restaurant. I was happy that the special size was free (*^^*). The motsu was seared with a burner and there were four large pieces in the soup. The bowl was slightly slanted, giving it an original and stylish feel. The dipping sauce had a strong flavor of fish powder. They serve it in a STAUB pot to keep it warm, and they even reheat it for you. The noodles were different from the usual tsukemen noodles, more like udon - chewy and with a strong salty flavor. It was a bit different from what I expected as a tsukemen lover. But for those who like this type of noodles, it's great. The owner was very humble and provided kind and polite service. The slightly dim lighting and L-shaped counter seats created a nice atmosphere! They also provide aprons for customers.

Today's lunch was at Hosomichi Tsukemen (¥850). It had been a while since my last visit and the atmosphere of the restaurant had changed, but the taste was still delicious! You can choose from small, regular, large, or extra large portions for the noodles. Of course, I chose the extra large (375g) without hesitation. After waiting for about 5 minutes, the hot soup in an iron pot arrived along with the fresh thick noodles in a big bowl. The soup is seafood-based with a hint of fish powder, which enhances the flavor and richness. The chashu pork was plentiful and satisfying. The noodles were chewy and had a sweet wheat flavor, with a refreshing texture. When I sprinkled plenty of sansho pepper halfway through, it added a refreshing spiciness that cleared my sinuses. And when I finished by grinding black pepper on top, it gave a final punch to the meal. With this generous portion, I was able to enjoy three different flavors. It was amazing! Thank you for the meal!

I had lunch near Kyobashi and ended up at a ramen shop called "Hosomichi." I ordered the motsu tsukemen with everything on it. The large portion had plenty of flavorful and rich chicken and seafood broth, with thick and chewy noodles. It was delicious! I'm definitely going back to try the curry tsukemen next time!笑

I went to a tsukemen restaurant in the shopping street of Kyobashi! It had high ratings among Kyobashi lunch spots, so I was curious to try it out. I bought a ticket from the machine outside the store and went in. I was torn between getting the "all toppings" option, but since it was my first time, I went with the recommended option, the Oxtail Tsukemen for 950 yen! The tsukemen came with a broth made from seafood and chicken, with a large portion of oxtail which was delicious! The noodles were firm and almost like udon. It was so tasty! Thank you for the meal!

I had some errands in Kyobashi and on my way back, I felt hungry. I found a ramen shop that caught my eye while walking through the shopping street and decided to stop by. It was a Sunday night after 9:00 PM, and even though there weren't many people walking around the shopping street, the restaurant was about 80% full. The interior had a chic monochrome design with only counter seats. The person who seemed to be the manager was running the place almost single-handedly, with a few new part-time staff assisting. I bought my meal ticket at the ticket machine by the entrance and placed my order at my seat. I ordered the curry tsukemen with a side of rice for 750 yen and the black miso maze-men for 900 yen. The dishes arrived in about 5 minutes. As soon as it arrived, I could smell the delicious aroma of curry. I love curry broth at soba shops, but this was different - it was a curry with authentic spices, paired with firm and chewy noodles. It was so delicious! I understand why the place was so crowded. After finishing the tsukemen, they offered to bring me rice, but I was too full to eat it. Later, I realized that the curry tsukemen already came with rice. I'm sure it would have been tasty to pour the curry over the rice. Next time I go, I'll make sure to go on an empty stomach. It was delicious!!! Thank you for the meal.

I heard that the tsukemen at this place is delicious, so I went there right away. You can choose the amount of noodles from 150-375g, in 75g increments. In the photo, it looks like 300g. The menma was large, dark in color, and very tasty. The noodles for the tsukemen were like udon, and since I like udon, they disappeared smoothly. You can also add soup to the noodles, but this time I added rice for an extra 100 yen and turned it into ochazuke. Just the noodles alone felt a bit lacking, but with the ochazuke, it was just right. There is a ticket machine outside for payment, but be aware that it only accepts 1000 yen bills. However, it was convenient to be able to pay with PayPay once inside. The seating is counter-only, so it may not be suitable for groups.

I love tsukemen, and I found a poster for a tsukemen restaurant that specializes in motsu (offal). I decided to line up and try it out. I purchased a meal ticket and entered the restaurant, which only had a counter. The noodles and soup were served in stylish containers, with chunks of motsu in the soup. I usually prefer rich tsukemen, but this one was on the lighter side, giving me a different experience. The motsu was delicious and paired well with the soup. Be careful not to burn your mouth when eating from the soup container! The chashu pork was also very tasty. Thank you for the meal!

Today, I stayed in Kyobashi and struggled with what to eat before choosing the unique motsu-tsuke-men. The noodles were thick like udon and they were delicious as they soaked up the seafood soup well. The motsu (offal) was also tender and good. The seasoned egg was a bit salty for my liking, so I would have preferred it to be less salty. Motsu-tsuke-men with all toppings for 1,250 yen.

Located in the Shin-Kyobashi Shotengai in Kyobashi, this ramen shop offers a unique experience with its Motsu-tsukemen All Toppings (1,250 yen). The level of ramen in Kyobashi is truly outstanding. The motsu (offal) here is seared with a burner before being served, a level of quality rarely seen outside of Fukuoka. The thick noodles have a unique texture reminiscent of udon but with a distinct flavor. The price for the noodles remains the same whether you choose a regular or large portion. The toppings, especially the chashu, are all delicious. The chashu perfectly complements the rich motsu dipping sauce. The high-quality nori and even the garlic sprouts enhance the overall experience. To finish, adding some shichimi spice on the table allows for a final flavor adjustment. While I was impressed by the umami of Umamiya in Kyobashi, this place blew me away with its meaty richness. This place is amazing. Thank you for the meal!

When I went out to Kyobashi, I decided to have lunch and went to eat tsukemen. The place I went to was Hosomichi, located inside the Shin-Kyobashi shopping street. It's a popular shop known for its udon-like noodles in tsukemen style. I bought a meal ticket at the ticket machine at the entrance of the shop. There were various tsukemen options on the menu, and I decided to try the "Tsukemen all toppings" (1250 yen). You can choose the amount of noodles, with options like small 150g, regular 225g, large 300g, and extra-large 375g. I ordered the regular 225g portion. While waiting for my order, I looked at the instructions on how to eat the tsukemen. There were also Japanese spices available, such as shichimi, ichimi, and sansho. As I waited, the Tsukemen all toppings arrived. The noodles were thick and white, resembling udon noodles. The rich and flavorful dipping sauce with seafood essence complemented the noodles well, making them smooth and elastic. The toppings included chashu, menma, flavored egg, green onions, garlic sprouts, and seaweed. The soup contained motsu (offal) and cabbage, which added depth to the dish. The seared motsu had a firm and juicy texture, while the chashu was crispy and flavorful. The Tsukemen all toppings was delicious and satisfying. I finished the noodles and ended with soup-wari (diluting the soup with hot water). I also tried the Curry Tsukemen (950 yen), which came with a small portion of rice. It was also delicious, and the combination of the soup and rice was excellent. I would like to try the Curry Tsukemen again next time.
