Kitami. It's Friday and we decided to go drinking together. We have a set time at 7 pm, so we decided to have a pre-drink at one place before that. I was taking a bath while Yome-san made a list of a few places to go, and I followed her lead. However, she hesitated in front of the chosen restaurant. We ended up turning back from a place we found on the way and eventually settled for a suspicious looking restaurant. But once we went in, it wasn't bad at all. They had a variety of fish and skewers lined up. The fish were all good, so we decided this place wasn't so bad after all. When we ordered beer, it took a few tries to get it right as the equipment wasn't fully functional yet. The beer was poured multiple times before it was served. It wasn't something I enjoyed watching, but the beer turned out to be just about okay. The owner was a friendly man, and I couldn't help but feel he was older than me, although he might actually be younger. The appetizer was pickled vegetables and cold tofu, which didn't seem like a great combination. The TV was showing sumo wrestling, and we were a bit hesitant at first, but the restaurant turned out to be quite nice. It was a counter-only place with 3+8 seats. They had a good selection of fish and skewers. We ordered chicken skewers, pork skewers, and steamed clams. The chicken skewers were juicy and delicious, with just the right amount of salt. The steamed clams, however, were disappointing as they were not fresh. Despite the small disappointments, we decided to visit this restaurant again.

It's a quiet second party after the banquet. The scallop grill is delicious ♡ The winter asparagus flavor is very strong ♡ And we made scallop grill porridge with the scallop shells after eating. It's rich in butter ♡♡ It's run by a thoughtful old man. It's like a cozy tavern with a hearth. The yakitori is also delicious ♡

Yakitori~~~!! A small izakaya with a cozy atmosphere located in a quiet corner of the bustling street. The friendly owner, who runs the place by himself, serves delicious yakitori dishes that are surprisingly good. Highly recommended! ♡

This is a cozy izakaya located in the entertainment district of Kitami City. The friendly owner manages the place alone, creating a comforting atmosphere. They serve dishes featuring scallops from the Okhotsk Sea, such as grilled scallops and shrimp appetizers. While the food may not be extraordinary, there is something special about this place. The izakaya was featured in a manga about marathon experiences, attracting visitors from all over the country. I believe it's because of the owner's personality. Be sure to visit and experience it for yourself.
