There were customers waiting outside. The Konbu water cold dipping soba had medium-thick straight noodles that were incredibly delicious. The noodles had a smooth texture with a slight sweetness, possibly from the Konbu water. The dipping sauce was cold and had a perfect balance of saltiness and depth of flavor. The toppings served on the side were also meticulously prepared. The dive rice with bonito powder added at the end enhanced the overall experience. The special Chinese ramen had thin straight noodles and a light soy-based broth with a complex and delicious flavor. Despite initial low expectations based on research, both dishes were surprisingly impressive. The service was also excellent. Overall, a top-notch restaurant in terms of taste and service.

On September 20, 2023, I visited Komugi Umare, Men Sodate for the first time in Minami-Senju for some errands. I ordered the default Chuka Soba for 900 yen and a Tamago Kake Gohan (TKG) for 250 yen. I was seated at the counter and my food arrived in about 10 minutes. The atmosphere in the restaurant was stylish, with upbeat pop music playing in the background, creating a comfortable and pleasant environment. First, I tried the soup, which was rich, smooth, and incredibly delicious. The noodles were also impressively smooth and had a great texture. The taste of the wheat was prominent, making it the best Chuka Soba I've had recently. The TKG had a rich egg yolk, and the original soy sauce paired perfectly with the firm white rice, creating a delicious combination. I couldn't help but wrap the chashu from the Chuka Soba in the rice and egg and take a bite. I even finished all the soup, which I rarely do. When I left, the staff saw me off outside, leaving me with a great impression. Overall, I was very satisfied with the Chuka Soba and TKG. I'm looking forward to trying the Tori Paitan next time. Making noodles in-house and serving them at the restaurant is quite rare for a ramen/chuka soba shop. I enjoyed two different types on consecutive days - the special chuka soba and the rich chicken white broth. The thickness and chewiness of the noodles were excellent. The soup was slightly on the salty side but delicious. However, the strong flavor of the soup somewhat overshadowed the taste of the noodles. It's a bit tricky, but still, it was delicious. The two men in the kitchen, who were good-looking and quiet, were likable, and the woman in the front of the house bowed deeply all the way to the door when I left. This place is impressive. Thank you for the meal!

I had been thinking about going to this famous restaurant, but I didn't have the enthusiasm to wait in line in the heat. When I arrived around 8:30 PM, close to closing time, I was able to enter without waiting. The special ramen comes with two types of chashu and a flavored egg. The soup is sweet but has a refreshing taste. The noodles are homemade and have a firm texture, similar to pasta. The chashu is absolutely delicious. Overall, it's a very high-quality ramen. It may be a bit too refined for me to wait in line for, but it's definitely worth trying. It's a really tasty ramen! Thank you for the meal!

I forgot the price of the chicken broth and rare chashu rice bowl set. I think it was 1350 yen? The chicken broth soba is delicious when the noodles mix with it, and the rare chashu rice bowl is enjoyed by pouring dashi soy sauce on top. This was my second visit, and the staff's cheerful service made me feel good again. The food was delicious, so I want to come back to this restaurant.

The parent company of "Komugi no Hoshi" in front of Sumamichi Station in Daito City. The foamy chicken potage mixes well with the noodles, and I couldn't help but exclaim how delicious it was after the first bite. The noodles have a strong wheat flavor and a good firmness, and the tenderness of the chashu, the firmness of the egg, the texture of the menma, and the crunchiness of the green onions are all top-notch. I enjoyed the slight roughness of the soup that lingered on my tongue until the end. My friend, who went there for the first time, also highly praised it! I would like to visit again (^-^)

During my business trip to Osaka, I visited "Komugiumare, Menikucho" in Minamimorimachi, which I had been curious about for a while. I tried their special Chinese soba noodles. The homemade noodles were smooth and chewy, with a great texture, and the soup was delicious. The chashu pork was also outstanding, showing their dedication to quality. Hello! It's Ramen Walking here! Today, I had the "Rich Chicken White Broth Ramen" at a place in Minamimorimachi called "Born from Wheat, Raised by Noodles." The soup is what they call a "muddy style," with an extremely rich broth made by simmering premium chicken like Nagoya Cochin until it becomes a thick, almost solid texture. It pairs well with the aged soy sauce base, which includes dried shrimp and mackerel flakes. The noodles are thin straight noodles made with "Haru yo koi" from Hokkaido, cooked to the perfect firmness and great for soaking up the soup. The toppings included tender chashu made with Awaji "Ebisumochi pork," bamboo shoots, seasoned egg, and green onions. The chashu was so soft and easy to eat, and the portion size was generous. Overall, the rich soup was delicious, and I look forward to trying their shoyu ramen next time. Thank you, "Born from Wheat, Raised by Noodles!" Today's step count: 15,694 steps. The ramen was extremely well made. I was impressed. It was an early lunch that day, but surprisingly, they were sold out of rice dishes. I decided to sit down anyway. I ordered the special ramen, which was a classic soy sauce ramen. Despite being called "special," it didn't have a lot of extra toppings, but the dedication put into each bowl was evident, showing why this place is so popular. I arrived just before the opening of the restaurant during the Bon festival lunchtime and was the second in line. Lucky me! I usually don't like chicken-based ramen, but the one here looked appealing... I hesitated between the Chinese ramen and the chicken ramen until the last minute, but I stuck to my initial choice. It turned out to be a great decision! It was very delicious. There were other menu items that caught my eye, so I will definitely visit again when I am in the area. The hospitality was also wonderful, with the staff engaging in polite conversations and gestures, exuding a sense of cleanliness and comfort. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

Nambancho, which is close to Umeda. This restaurant is located near the Tenjinbashi-suji shopping street. Although it may have been there since the time I lived in Nambancho, this was my first visit. The name of the restaurant suggests that the noodles are delicious. Let's go in and see. They operate on a ticket vending machine system. I purchased tickets for the Chuka Soba (Chinese noodles), a mixed appetizer plate, and a beer. I was seated at a table. I started with the beer and the mixed appetizer plate. The plate included chashu pork, bamboo shoots, and a boiled egg. Everything was delicious and went well with the beer. I had high hopes for the ramen. The Chuka Soba was beautifully presented, topped with chashu pork, boiled egg, bamboo shoots, and seaweed. There were two types of chashu pork. First, the soup. It had a rich soy sauce flavor, just as it appeared. The noodles were also good, slightly thicker than regular ramen noodles, with a satisfying texture. All the toppings were well-balanced and the egg looked particularly appetizing. The overall balance, flavor, and portion size of the Chuka Soba left me satisfied and happy!

I was able to get in without waiting on a weekday at 11:40 AM for the rich chicken broth ramen (limited quantity) for ¥950, minus the green onions. However, soon after, it got crowded with what seemed like salarymen and there were people waiting outside. The chicken broth ramen was not particularly impressive but it was delicious in a normal way.

Popular ramen restaurant in Senmachi. Second visit. Opens at 11am, but already full by 11:10. Recommended dish: "Ramen with cold dipping noodles and Rishiri kelp water" for 1200 yen. This is highly recommended! It's delicious! The homemade noodles are delicious and go well with the dipping sauce! Finish with the included dive rice! I would love to come back again if it's close by! Good noodles are important! The staff are all surprisingly young, like college students, but they are very professional. Many customers are families, so that might be a reason. A bit pricey, but worth it!

I visited "Komugi Umare, Men Sodachi." in Minamisonocho for the second time. Last time, I was impressed by their "Rishiri Kombu Cold Tsukemen," but unfortunately, it was already sold out this time. They only serve 10 bowls for lunch and 5 bowls for dinner. So, I tried their Special Shoyu Ramen instead, which was well-prepared and elegant, but I felt it was a bit lacking for me. The chashu was delicious though. I couldn't help but compare it to the cold tsukemen.

I don't like kelp base, so I won't be coming back for this chicken white broth ramen. The salt ramen with light soup was delicious. The shop's homemade noodles are a specialty, but the medium-thick straight noodles didn't suit my taste. No repeat visit for me.

I went to "Komugiumare, Men Ikachi." in Minamisencho. I had the Hokkaido kelp water-cooled tsukemen (extra noodles) for 1200 yen. It was a ramen that left a strong impression on me after a long time. The noodles were chewy, the chashu was good, and the egg passed the test, but the broth was just delicious. It reminded me of the "Premium wheat and red snapper cold soup" at "Men Tsumugi" in Temma. The extra noodles were too much for me, and I was satisfied with the portion size. The service was also wonderful, with a female staff member seeing me off outside the restaurant. I will definitely visit again.

Visited for the first time in about 2 years. Personally, I love the chicken white broth here because it's not too strong in flavor. In Osaka, I think it's the second best after Nakamozu's chicken broth. I ordered the chicken white broth for the first time in a while. I arrived a little after 7 pm on a weekday, and only about 60% of the seats were taken. Since it's in a business district, the evening business might be a hidden gem. As for the taste, it seemed like the seasoning was stronger compared to when I last had it. Maybe it's because it was my first time having it in the evening, but it felt a bit too salty. I remember being able to finish it more easily before... However, the service was incredibly attentive, even more so than before. That kind of service is rare at a ramen shop. Definitely give it a try.

However, there are some restaurants in Yakitori Hyakumeiten WEST that are still pending for listing... It seems like completing all of them is impossible, right? Now, what should I have for dinner... Let's search for a highly-rated restaurant nearby... Many places seem to be closed on Wednesdays... This ramen shop is open. Around 6:45 pm, it was about 30% full... I paid 1000 yen in cash at the ticket machine for the recommended special Chinese noodles... I was seated in the middle of the counter even though there were empty seats... After about 6 minutes, the food was served... The soup was on the light side... It had a somewhat strange taste that I couldn't quite place... The noodles were medium thickness and average... The chashu was thin and lacked flavor, while the thicker one was soft and not bad but lacked flavor... The boiled egg and vegetables were average... I left feeling unsatisfied... Should I have dessert instead?

They use a rare food ticket system in Kansai, so I ordered the recommended soy sauce ramen. It arrived quickly. I tried the soup first, and it was delicious.
