The inside is firm with a strong apple flavor, and the pie crust is crispy. It feels like there is a little caramel on the crispy part. It is deliciously crispy, but it crumbles easily, so it's not easy to eat. I think it's good for people who like sweet flavors.

This was my first visit. I had lunch nearby and then wandered around, when I came across this shop and decided to go inside. I looked around and ended up buying a butter dorayaki with chunky red bean paste for 162 yen, and a mugwort rice cake for 172 yen. Since there was no seating inside, I walked a bit and sat on a bench to enjoy them. They were delicious.

Smooth and firm pudding. The caramel is a bit strong even though there's only a small amount, but it's effective. You don't really feel the egginess, but you can taste it at the end. Quite delicious. The milk crepe is a bit sweet but tasty. Personally, I prefer a bit more cream. The shortcake has smooth cream and soft sponge, very delicious. It's not too sweet. The apple pie lacks cinnamon but still delicious. The pie crust is crispy. It's quite sweet but to my liking. The chocolate in the chocolate pie is delicious. I would be happier if there was more chocolate all the way to the edge. The butter dorayaki combines the saltiness of butter and the sweetness of red bean paste, quite delicious. The baked cheese tart has a strong cheese flavor. It wasn't really to my liking.

Sweets shop in a prime location near the station. Unfortunately, the high-end soft serve ice cream from Chateraise is currently on hold. Ordered the following: Red tea shortcake for 480 yen, half-baked gateau fromage for 240 yen, Shiga Hifumi mochi sakura mochi for 160 yen, and pudding for 250 yen. A mix of Western and Japanese sweets at this shop. It has a Chateraise-like vibe. Low-carb sweets could be a good option. They were delicious, but didn't have a special feel to them. Being close to the station, it seems useful for gifts or omiyage. Thank you for the meal!

This time I bought pudding. The caramel sauce was not spicy, so my child finished eating it all. My child said it was delicious and wants to eat it again. For those who prefer spicy caramel sauce, it may be lacking. The taste of the egg was rich and satisfying!

After having yakiniku in Sumikawa, I stopped by here to buy dessert (*^^*) According to MyRebi-san's information, this place is recognized as a high-end store of Shatorēze. Indeed, when looking around the store, it feels a bit more expensive than Shatorēze, about 20-30% higher. There are fewer options and less excitement in choosing. I bought two items, leaf pie and butter dorayaki, which my companion wanted to eat. The leaf pie is crispy and delicious, and the butter dorayaki has a good buttery aroma and is moist and tasty! They are delicious, but as a commoner, I think I'll stick with Shatorēze (;´∀`) Thank you for the treat, Yatsudoki-san♪

I really wanted to visit this place because they have a gorgeous version of the popular Shatoreze Premium Apple Pie. The access by car was terrible, so I had to park at a nearby parking lot and walk. The store had a variety of frozen ice cream on the right, baked goods on the left, and cakes and apple pies in the showcase at the front. There were about 20 different types of cakes available. The Premium Apple Pie was priced around 400 yen. It was half-circle shaped with leaf patterns, made with seasonal domestic apples and custard cream. The crust was very sweet, almost too sweet, and the custard cream was not overwhelming. The apples were more on the soft side rather than crispy, and overall the pie was on the sweeter side with less acidity. It was a bit too sweet for my taste, but still enjoyable.

I used to be delighted with the freshly baked financiers at Chateraise, but then they disappeared, maybe they were limited time only... and I was feeling down, but then I found out that Yatsudoki opened, so they stopped selling them at Chateraise, right? I came here looking for snacks (^^) In Sapporo, they have locations in Sumikawa and Asahikawa, so I went to the Sumikawa one. They have a variety of freshly baked items that are so tempting. Financiers are my favorite, but packaged financiers always end up with a moist surface, so shops that sell them freshly baked are precious and appreciated. ★ Financiers (freshly baked). Overall, they are a bit firmer. The surface is more like nougat than crispy. When I had them at Chateraise before, the texture was a bit better, I think? Maybe the texture changes with time. ★ Fresh cream cake (cup) A bite-sized cake with a simple combination of sponge cake and fresh cream. I bought it because it seemed easy to eat. The fresh cream has a slightly firm texture but melts in your mouth. The sponge cake had a strange softness that made me think "what is this?" at first bite, but I got used to it and found it delicious by the second bite. It had a texture similar to Taiwanese castella. ★ Sweet potato pie The pie is pleasantly crispy. The sweet potato filling is dense and just the right amount of sweetness. ★ Sugar croissant A small snack-sized croissant. I warm it up in the toaster. The croissant itself is okay, but when eaten with pearl sugar, it's quite delicious. I also want to try the apple pie, which seems recommended if you don't have allergies (;o;) I think they sell it at Chateraise too. I hope the freshly baked series will continue to expand in the future. Thank you for the meal!

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, it is a designated rare disease by the government. Unfortunately, there is no medication suitable for my rare disease yet. I was hospitalized for rare disease treatment in September last year, January, April-May this year, and now again in September. Your supportive comments were a source of energy for me during my hospitalization. I deeply appreciate it. I was temporarily discharged three weeks ago. After this week's consultation, I made a reservation for my 5th hospitalization this year. Due to the side effects of the medication, I am seeing multiple departments, but the main treatment cannot proceed until the symptoms are under control. As a result of treatment in another department, I will be hospitalized for the 5th time this year. I will continue to post reviews during my hospitalization. It is difficult for me to reply to comments during my hospitalization. However, I will make sure to reply after discharge. I will try to like posts even during hospitalization. Thank you for your continued support.

On a certain weekday, I stumbled upon a pastry shop managed by Shatoreze, which has been popping up in various places recently. The shop didn't seem to have a parking lot, so I had to think about where to park. The interior of the shop was of average size for a pastry shop, with a variety of dry snacks, frozen pastries, apple pies, and refrigerated cakes. I was intrigued by the premium cakes offered by Shatoreze, but since I had work afterwards, I decided to focus on non-refrigerated items. I was particularly interested in the "Premium Apple Pie (399 yen)", so I purchased it. With the first bite, I was impressed by the crispy pie crust with a buttery flavor, the stewed apple jam, and the custard cream, which all combined to create a rich and flavorful experience. I also tried the "Homemade Red Bean Paste and Butter Croissant (194 yen)", which was smaller than the average croissant but had a good balance of red bean paste and butter. Next, I tried the "Green Tea Water Yokan (259 yen)", which was a refreshing Japanese confection with a hint of bitterness from the green tea and a green-colored red bean paste at the bottom. Lastly, I couldn't resist trying the "Chateau Lezan (162 yen)", which resembled a Marseille butter sandwich. It had a softer texture compared to Marseille, and the raisins were larger and had a nice crunch. Overall, I was impressed by how Shatoreze has managed to differentiate their products. I look forward to their future development. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I went to Yatsudoki-san, which opened in front of Sumikawa, on my way home from work. It's convenient for me because it's the closest station to my house, so I can easily stop by! I bought a Maron Pie that I've been curious about for a while and an An Butter Croissant that I've been into recently, as well as a cute Rosy Heart with edible flowers to take out. The cakes in the showcase are ordered from the store and then lined up at the register. Inside the store, there are various baked goods, ice cream, cakes, and other sweets lined up, all of which look delicious! There were also low-sugar sweets available. The Rosy Heart has whipped cream sandwiched between chiffon cakes. There is probably rose jam in the middle, giving it a rose fragrance! It's a large cake, but because it's light and fluffy like chiffon cake, you can eat it all by yourself! The price is also reasonable at 460 yen considering its size. The Maron Pie has a whole chestnut inside a pie, with a sweet and sour jam spread on the surface, and plenty of sweet bean paste along with the chestnut! The pie is crispy. The Croissant, although small, was crispy and delicious with sweet bean paste and butter! The Croissant was so delicious that I wanted to try other varieties as well.

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, and it is a designated rare disease by the government. Unfortunately, there is no medicine suitable for my rare disease yet. I was hospitalized for rare disease treatment again in April-May, following last September and January. Your supportive comments were a source of energy for me during my hospitalization. I sincerely appreciate it. I was discharged in early May, but during the late May check-up, the doctor mentioned the possibility of hospitalization again. If I have not recovered by the June check-up, the doctor recommends hospitalization again. After receiving the second dose of the Corona vaccine, treatment cannot be scheduled for two weeks. The doctor instructed me to confirm the vaccine schedule, so I contacted Sapporo City, but they mentioned that the vaccination for those aged 65-74 will end in February next year. Those under 64 with underlying conditions will be prioritized, and registration is scheduled to start from July. Prime Minister Suga stated that vaccination for those aged 65 and above will be completed by July this year, but Sapporo City mentioned that if the vaccination ticket for those aged 65 and above has not arrived by the end of June, please call again. Sapporo City cannot confirm the date of the ticket dispatch. I anticipate hospitalization based on the Corona vaccine's vaccination status. Thank you for your continued support. [June 2021] "Shatoreze" is a nationwide chain of affordable Japanese and Western confectionery stores. They also operate golf courses, ski resorts, and hotels. In Hokkaido, they acquired the former Terme Sapporo resort hotel and operate "Shatoreze Gateau Kingdom Sapporo," making them well-known. They have around 30 stores in Hokkaido, with just over 10 in Sapporo. "Shatoreze Premium Yatsudoki" is a premium shop in urban areas operated by Shatoreze nationwide. The "Shatoreze Premium Yatsudoki Sumikawa store" is the 15th shop nationwide and the first in Hokkaido. It opened in April 2021 while I was hospitalized. The name "Yatsudoki" comes from the Edo period's "Yatsudoki," a two-hour "snack" time from 2 to 4 pm. In the Edo era, there were only two meals a day, and it was not until the Meiji era that it became three meals. The Edo period's "snack" was also called "Kohiru" and was a precious time. The current name "snack" originates from this "Yatsudoki." I visited with my usual companion during "Yatsudoki" for the first time. This store is located in the Sumikawa area of Minami Ward, Sapporo, near Sumikawa Station on the subway. Please check the precise location on Tabelog. I visited around 2:30 pm on a weekday during "Yatsudoki." As expected, there were more expensive items than Shatoreze. They also sold my favorite affordable "barrel-aged wine." Unfortunately, the soft-serve ice cream was temporarily unavailable due to machine failure. The soft-serve ice cream machine was from my favorite "Calbi Jarny." Sadly, the machine's return date was uncertain. I bought some cakes. - Rosie Heart Weight: 138g (after removing the packaging) A fluffy sponge base with cream and strawberry jam inside. Price: 496 yen (tax included) - Premium Apple Pie Weight: 98g (after removing the packaging) A moderately crispy pie crust with soft apple inside. Price: 399 yen (tax included) "Rosie Heart" seemed familiar, perhaps from a TV show. It was light and not too sweet. The edible flowers on top were beautiful. It was a perfect cake for "Yatsudoki." The "Premium Apple Pie" was decent but lacked a premium feel. Personally, I prefer the classic "Red Apple Pie" from Yuheim. I asked about the soft-serve ice cream machine, and the young staff member was cute and very friendly. At this point, it seems like I will have to revisit due to the soft-serve ice cream machine being out of order.

Visited around 7 pm on a Tuesday in June 2021 for dessert after dinner. Location & Parking: Located near Sumikawa Station on the Hiranishi Street, the exterior gives off a high-end vibe rather than looking like a typical Chateraise. There is no parking available. Upon entering, you'll find a cozy floor space with a variety of cakes and pastries on display. The clean and lovely interior is takeout-only, with no seating available. Menu: The display showcases delicious cakes, apple pies, and other pastries, along with ice cream, chocolates, and more. Despite initially aiming for soft-serve ice cream, which was unavailable due to maintenance, I ended up purchasing the Premium Apple Pie, Rosy Heart, and Ice Cream. The Premium Apple Pie, made with fermented butter and double-baked, had a shiny, appealing crust with plenty of chunky apple filling. The crispy and light caramelized sugar texture of the crust, along with the satisfying apple chunks, showcased attention to detail and delicious flavors. It ranked high among the apple pies I've tried, and the syrup topping, although slightly sticky, was incredibly tasty. The Rosy Heart, featuring cream cheese sandwiched between Taiwanese castella cake layers, topped with edible flowers, pink rose cream, and strawberries, had a charming appearance suited for a maiden. The cake had a fluffy yet substantial texture, a light cream cheese taste, and a red wine-soaked strawberry jelly with fruit pieces and a balanced acidity that served as accents throughout. The Chateraise Premium Fermented Butter Rum Raisin, a small milk-based fermented butter ice cream with selected Sultana golden raisins, offered a luxurious treat. The ice cream had a rich, caramel-like flavor, a smooth and creamy texture, and a generous amount of rum raisins at the bottom, transforming into a sophisticated adult taste with a hint of rum aroma. Despite its small size, the intense and satisfying flavor of this ice cream offered excellent value for its price. Lastly, the Cherry Tart, made with high-sugar Satonishiki cherries from Yamanashi and Southern Alps strawberries, featured a thick tart crust topped with cherries and strawberries, offering a delightful treat with a substantial and satisfying texture from the tart crust and a delicious fresh taste from the cherries and strawberries. I look forward to trying the cream puffs on my next visit.

A new high-end cake shop opened in Sumikawa in May 2021. In addition to well-established cake shops like "Romantei," "Sato Western Confectionery," and "Stella Maris," a luxurious store from Chateraise has opened in the area. I am particularly interested in their apple pie. The premium apple pie, which is neatly wrapped individually, costs 370 yen. The baked apple wrapped in a light pie crust has an elegant taste. The shortcake displayed in the glass case looked beautiful, so I would like to try it next time! Thank you for the delicious meal!

It seems that this is a premium shop by Chateraise. I wanted to eat soft serve ice cream, but it was closed due to a machine failure. So, I asked and found out that the pies and financiers in the showcase are made in the kitchen here. I haven't had many opportunities to eat Chateraise's products sold in bags, so I'm not sure about the difference, but having them freshly baked here is definitely a premium experience. They also have cakes and wine. Next time, I want to try the soft serve ice cream! Thank you for the meal~.

YATSUDOKI, a sweets shop full of love and dedication from Yatsugatake, has opened its Sumikawa store on April 23rd with the concept of a special "snack time". It is actually Chateraise PREMIUM YATSUDOKI Sumikawa. I tried some snacks during snack time. - Shadow Lezan: A butter sandwich reminiscent of a certain popular brand. The taste is just as good, but it's very similar to that brand. It was delicious, but maybe they could have added a unique twist to differentiate it. - Butter Dorayaki: It tasted like a traditional dorayaki, but with a western twist in terms of flavor and sweetness. - Rusk: I tried the Yatsugatake milk and Yatsugatake almond caramel flavors. The milk rusk had a simple sweetness, while the almond caramel had a caramel coating with lots of almonds. Personally, I preferred the milk flavor as it wasn't too overwhelming. The packaging had a luxurious feel and design, but I felt they could have used more butter and focused on the quality of the product itself, like using no margarine or vegetable fats. Overall, the taste was decent. YATSUDOKI is an exciting sweets shop that may expand its share in the market alongside well-established brands like Rokkatei from Hokkaido and Yoku Moku.

Sunday city stroll "2021.04.23 OPEN" The high-quality store "YATSUDOKI" by Chateraise, which landed in Hokkaido for the first time, is surprisingly located just a 1-minute walk from the Sumikawa Station on the Subway Namboku Line along the Hiraoka Street. According to the web search, there are around 15 chain stores nationwide, with about 5 staff in the kitchen and 5 on the floor... Truly a large company, with more staff than customers (lol). At the entrance of the store, male staff with impeccable service welcomes customers. Upon entering the store, you will find a small-scale interior that is different from typical Chateraise stores. The number of products is limited, with a focus on quality, and the prices are slightly higher compared to Chateraise. The main items include baked goods, cakes, wine, soft serve ice cream, etc. I purchased the "Premium Apple Pie @399"... The "delicious way to enjoy apple pie at home" instructions suggest reheating in a toaster oven for 2 to 2 minutes and 30 seconds to avoid burning. The freshly baked crispy texture... This is easily the best apple pie I have ever had in my life. While places like "N***ya" and "H****da" in the Sapporo area tend to be considered the best, I personally don't mind "Kag***ju" either. The crispy pie crust, the perfectly balanced sweetness of the apple compote... It's amazing how this state can be maintained nearly ten hours after baking. It's truly delicious, without any exaggeration. I also tried the "CK One Whole Chestnut Pie @324"... A pie with a whole chestnut inside, with the same crispy crust as the apple pie and a subtle sweetness. The firm chestnut adds a refreshing touch to the overall taste. It may seem a bit pricey, but the taste is truly high-quality. I also tried the "Toyosu Hachigatake Gouda Cheese @162" and the "Hachigatake Baked Cheese Tart @172"... I will add more details after tasting them. While being an affiliate of Chateraise, "YATSUDOKI" offers a completely different product lineup and a slightly upscale atmosphere. It's hard to understand what they are aiming for, but with the first store opening in Hokkaido, I hope to see more branches in the future. If I have the chance next time, I would like to try their cakes and wine. Thank you for the meal.
