Visit date and time: 12:00 on Saturday Waiting time: 50 minutes Menu: Oroshi soba 1,000 yen + Large size 200 yen I visited a highly-rated soba restaurant in Habikino. We arrived at 12:00 and there were about 5 groups of customers waiting inside and outside. The parking lot was also full. We were lucky to get our soba, but the person who came after us was told they had run out of soba, so it seems like you need to arrive before 12:00. I ordered a large size, but looking at the portion of other customers' soba, I think it was probably a regular size. Despite that, the portion was generous and the price was cheap compared to other restaurants. As a gesture for the wait, they gave us a bag full of fried soba to take home. This kind of service makes me happy. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at the restaurant around 12:45, just before closing time, but the owner assured me they could still serve me a full portion. I ordered the "Mushroom Oroshi Soba" (large size). The freshly grated daikon radish had a nice spicy kick to it, and the soba noodles were delicious too! It reminded me of the cold oroshi soba I had in Fukui during winter. It was a long time since I had such tasty soba. I'm thinking of trying the zaru soba next time.

I arrived at the restaurant around noon on a holiday. It is located in a residential area and I was able to park about 5 cars. The clean interior has 3 table seats. I had to wait a bit before being seated. I ordered the large serving of zaru soba. The soba noodles had a good texture and the broth was delicious. When I left the restaurant, there was a sign saying they had sold out for the day, so I recommend going early.

Fujii-dera Station on the Kintetsu Minami Osaka Line is quite a walk away. The restaurant is located in a residential area, with parking available in front and on the side of the store. The interior is spacious, with sturdy wooden tables on both sides, a soba noodle making room with an electric stone mill on the left, and a well-equipped kitchen in the back. The elderly owner runs the place alone, so service can be slow. The cold soba options are limited to zaru soba and oroshi soba, with no tempura available. I ordered zaru soba. The soba noodles had some uneven cuts and quite a few end pieces. The texture was not very firm and the draining was not perfect. The flavor and aroma of the soba were decent. The condiments provided were green onions and wasabi, with the green onions being frozen. The dipping sauce was on the sweeter side and well made. The soba broth was rich and flavorful. If this were ten years ago, it might have been considered good soba. However, the texture was lacking and it seemed like the soba noodles were not well-prepared. Most of the people who were waiting after me ended up leaving because they ran out of soba. They seem to make a limited amount each day, probably less than 20 servings. It might be worth considering improving their operations, but it's not really my place to interfere. The soba noodles themselves seemed to be of good quality, but considering the aging owner, it evokes a sense of indescribable sentiment.

I walked from Kintetsu Fujiiidera Station. I arrived at 11:15 on Saturday afternoon, just as the store was opening. I was the 8th person in line. It was a beautiful single-family house shop with three large 4-person tables. There were already 7 people seated at the tables. There was a bench for 3 people right by the entrance where we waited. After about 20 minutes, I was seated. The menu was as follows: Zaru soba for 900 yen, Oroshi soba for 1000 yen, Zaru oroshi for 1000 yen, Kinoko oroshi for 1200 yen, Large serving for an additional 200 yen, Beer for 500 yen, Cold sake for 400 yen, and Large serving of Kinoko oroshi for 1400 yen. The complimentary dish was fried soba crackers, long and plentiful in a small dish with a light salt flavor, crispy and delicious, perfect as a snack with cold sake or beer. The large serving of Kinoko oroshi was served in a big black flat bowl. The soba noodles were thin and slightly yellowish. Eating it plain gives a grassy aroma and a refreshing cold sensation. The grated daikon on top was pink and had a spicy kick, a strong natural Japanese punch. There were about 4 types of mushrooms, with a subtle and elegant sourness. There were also wood ear mushrooms. The chopped green onions were served separately. The dipping sauce had a rich bonito flavor, the strongest bonito taste I've ever had. The soba broth was rich and flavorful, perfect for finishing the meal. I left the restaurant around noon and there were 8 people waiting outside. It's a popular spot in a quiet residential area with ancient burial mounds, where I enjoyed some exquisite soba.

This is a highly rated soba restaurant in Fujiidera City, located in a residential area in a renovated traditional Japanese house painted in white. The signboard reads "Kawashu Soba Place". They open at 11:30, and when I arrived about 10 minutes early, there was no line outside. Upon opening the sliding door, I found that all the seats were already taken, with people waiting. After a short wait, I entered the simple interior with a few tables and waiting chairs. About 30 minutes after opening, the elderly owner, who was running the place alone, started cleaning up the noren curtain, indicating that they were sold out for the day. The menu only consisted of four options: zaru soba, grated daikon soba, zaru grated daikon, and mushroom grated daikon, each available in a large portion. I was torn between the grated daikon soba and the zaru grated daikon, but ended up ordering the latter. First, the fried soba arrived, raising my expectations with its thinness. Then, after 7-8 minutes, the zaru grated daikon was served. The beautifully presented zaru soba in a steamer basket was accompanied by a vibrant pink spicy grated daikon, delicate chives, and shining condiments. I tried dipping the soba lightly in the dipping sauce, and the finely cut soba had a refreshing texture and aroma. The dipping sauce had a strong dashi flavor with a hint of sweetness. Adding half of the spicy grated daikon brought a sharp radish flavor. I finished the meal with a thick soba broth. Though it was a short visit, I felt like I was able to enjoy a taste of their soba. The elderly owner, who was working hard alone, had a gentle demeanor but also displayed a strong artisan spirit. The food was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Arrived at 11:40 am. Had to wait a bit and was able to be seated around 12:15 pm. By the way, they sold out for the day at 12:06 pm! Ordered the large size of zaru soba. While waiting, they served fried soba crumbs which was a nice touch. The soba tea was also good! The soba noodles were not 100% buckwheat, but had a strong aroma and flavor that hits you later on! The broth was delicious, with a hint of bonito that paired perfectly with the soba. I have lived most of my 20s in Nagano prefecture, so I am picky about soba, but this soba broth was amazing!!! I ended up drinking my companion's portion as well, so when I asked for a refill, they made it promptly and kindly asked me to wait. I felt a bit guilty because the old man was working hard alone, so I left the shop quietly, impressed by how he chopped the green onions.

[Overall Review] It's about a 20-minute walk from Kintetsu Fujisawa Station (Osaka). This soba restaurant stands alone in the middle of a residential area. It is rare in Kansai to have a strong-flavored dipping sauce that pairs well with the firm-textured soba. They do have alcohol, but there are almost no side dishes. It's a stoic restaurant focused on serving soba. The soba master here is dedicated to simplicity, making it a must-visit for soba lovers. [Fujisawa Station to the residential area, about a 20-minute walk. The area around the restaurant is peaceful, with fields mixing in the surroundings. It's a simple white house that stands alone like a warehouse. That's Kansoba. They seem to sell out quickly, so I arrived 25 minutes before opening just in case. Luckily, they opened 15 minutes early, but there were already 4 people waiting on a weekday. The interior is as clean and spacious as the exterior, with tables generously spaced out. It's a small shop run by an elderly couple, with a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a tea house in the mountains. The menu offers four types of soba: zaru soba, oroshi soba, zaru oroshi, and kinoko oroshi. Currently, they do not offer tempura or duck. They only serve cold soba, no warm options. There are no side dishes, but they do have alcohol. With few options to choose from, I ordered the large zaru soba. They served fried soba as a starter, which pairs well with alcohol. - Large zaru soba 1100 yen The soba has a pale color with sharp edges and a substantial volume. It is supple yet slightly soft, with a sweet aroma and flavor when chewed. The dipping sauce has a strong flavor with a powerful scent and texture that complements the soba. The soba broth is slightly thick, which balances well with the intense flavor of the dipping sauce. I drank it all. [Final Thoughts] With such a simple menu, the delicious soba alone provides a great sense of satisfaction. The soba master focuses solely on serving soba, and with this quality, soba alone is more than enough. It may be a bit inconvenient to visit due to its location, but the quality of the soba makes it well worth the visit. Thank you for the meal.

The elderly owner runs the restaurant alone, so if you go on a weekday, make sure to line up by 12 pm or they might sell out. The soba noodles have a great aroma, texture, and smoothness, but most importantly, the broth is delicious. Next time, I want to try the grated radish dipping sauce.

First, fried soba was served with tea, and the server came to take our order. The fried soba was the best I've ever had. I ordered the large serving of cold soba, and it exceeded my expectations. The soba had a great aroma, was slightly soft, but still had a nice texture. It was delicious.

The menu is limited. They only have zaru soba with grated daikon, zaru soba with mushrooms, and zaru soba with grated daikon. When I tried to order zaru soba with grated daikon, the elderly shop owner told me it's spicy because of the grated daikon, so I changed my order to regular zaru soba. It was delicious. Since they only serve zaru soba, it made it taste even better. There are no side dishes, so many female customers around me ordered the large portion. The last soba water was also delicious. Soba is rich in protein and healthier than other main dishes.

Located in Habikino, I visit a hospital in the area about three times a month. On this particular day, my wife wanted to have soba for lunch, so we decided to try this restaurant. The restaurant is situated in a residential area, which may make you doubt its existence, but trust your navigation system. It seems to be run by a couple. We ordered the mushroom and grated daikon soba in regular and large sizes. The soba was served with fried soba as a starter, and the tea provided was soba tea. The soba had a greenish color and a fragrant aroma. The taste of the soba was excellent, and the balance with the mushrooms and grated daikon was perfect. However, be prepared for the spiciness of the grated daikon, as it may make you sweat. Despite the heat, the soba was delicious. The soba broth was rich and flavorful, and we ended up having multiple refills. Overall, if you want to enjoy pure soba, this restaurant comes highly recommended.

Hello, everyone. Tonight, I visited "Kanso," a soba restaurant in Fujiidera, following the footsteps of Yamada's Hamada. I arrived a little after 12 o'clock, right at the peak time. There were about 10 people waiting in line. Inside, there were only two staff members - the chef and the server. There were three tables for six people each, where customers would sit together. The menu was simple. Soba tempura and tea were served as default. I decided to try the duck soba, recommended by the soba girl(?). I ordered the zaru soba. The soba noodles were simple and straight, with a delicious dipping sauce. It's a place where you should eat soba rather than drink sake. Many locals were also lining up. They sold out an hour before closing. It's a popular spot. Thank you for the meal. See you later. I have decided to focus on one ranking button. Thank you in advance. ↓↓↓

In the area, there seems to be a delicious soba restaurant. The broth is too strong, so the flavor of the soba is not noticeable. The soba is not drained well enough. It's not bad, but definitely not delicious. It was good that it wasn't crowded, but apparently it's usually busy, so I was surprised. The cost performance is low, so unless you really crave soba, I probably won't go back. The tempura soba served as an appetizer has unappetizing oil, so I recommend resisting the urge to eat it before the soba.

I stopped by this place while on a job in the area. The shop is located in a residential neighborhood and looks like a house at first glance. I ordered the "Zaru Soba - Large Serving - 1000 yen" and the soba noodles are from Ibaraki Prefecture today. The first impression when tasting the soba was its firm texture. The soba is ground finely. The aroma of the soba itself is standard and not particularly strong. The closing time is around 1:30 PM today. They will close once the soba is sold out, so it's recommended to go early with some leeway.
