Before noon, when I passed by, there were several people gathered in front of the restaurant. Despite feeling a bit of summer fatigue due to the daily heat, I was drawn to the menu photos in front of the store, which showed a light and savory seafood and chicken broth with thin noodles that I liked. The interior of the store was narrow (long?), but overall, the white wallpaper and bright lighting gave a spacious impression. The distance between the counter and table seats was appropriate, and there was no feeling of being cramped. I paid first and was guided to my seat. There were rice dishes and dumplings available, but I decided on the Golden Clam Ramen with a seasoned egg that I had seen earlier. After waiting a few minutes at the counter, the eagerly awaited ramen was handed to me by the kitchen staff. Since it was freshly made, steam was rising, and the appetizing smell of seafood and chicken broth stimulated my appetite. As shown in the photo, the appearance of the ramen was beautiful, and even among the light and savory (seafood and chicken broth Japanese-style) ramen, it was of a very high standard. When I first sipped the soup, the harmonious taste of clam and chicken broth felt gentle and pleasant, but as I continued to drink, the subtle bonito aroma added depth to the soup. Therefore, even as I progressed, it did not feel heavy, and it felt like I was drinking high-quality Japanese-style broth. The noodles were said to be medium thickness, but they were thinner than I imagined, easy to eat, and blended well with the soup, which I felt matched well with this broth. The chashu (presumably chicken) was soft and easy to eat. When eaten with the yuzu sprinkles, it provided a slight flavor change, making it easy to eat even towards the end. I have tried clam and chicken broth ramen before, but this ramen was flawless in appearance and taste. I would like to try rice dishes and dumplings next time.
