The restaurant offers a wide variety of lunch menu options including meat and fish, and the prices are reasonable. I ordered the fried chicken set meal. One day at a drinking party, we had a set course for 3500 yen (I think). The restaurant was small, but with many staff, so the drinks came out smoothly. The all-you-can-drink option was a must. We had salad, fresh spring rolls, and something else, but the highlight was the voluminous Caesar salad. The most memorable dish was the Caterpillar Roll. It really looked like a caterpillar, with even a tail. By the way, the filling was eel. I couldn't bring myself to eat it, so I gave the head and tail to my seniors and had the body. It was like eating a bug... I'm not a fan of creative Asian cuisine, so the taste wasn't to my liking, but it was convenient for sharing with a group.

DINING Kasseki (Kutchan, Niseko)
"Niseko" has become one of the world's top snow resorts where snow freaks from all over the world gather, not just Australians. When we talk about Niseko, the most crowded area is the Hirafu area in Kutchan town. The prices in this Hirafu area are just outrageous! Everything is unbelievably expensive. Recently, not only Japanese people but also foreigners seem to come down from Hirafu to the town of Kutchan to have meals, and new restaurants are opening one after another in the town of Kutchan. This restaurant is one of those, where the owner, who honed his skills at a 5-star hotel in Hong Kong, serves creative dishes using Hokkaido ingredients.
- Caterpillar Roll
This dish seems like something foreigners would love (laughs). Avocado and eel. A reverse roll? I was a bit skeptical, but it was surprisingly delicious. It will definitely be a hit with foreigners.
- Seared Mackerel
The searing is done well, bringing out the richness of the fat.
- Homemade Salted Fish Innards
The right amount of saltiness, the sweetness and richness of the fish innards are delightful. It goes well with sake.
