I chose the rich chicken curry, which is also suitable for children. My companion went for the Tokachi-dake curry. I opted for the extra large rice portion. It was served in about 10 minutes. The curry had a striking appearance. It was only 680 yen for a regular size, which is quite cheap. It wasn't spicy, but rather had a sweet taste. There were chili powder and habanero powder on the table to adjust the spiciness to your liking. The habanero powder is quite spicy. Overall, it was mild, so I found the right balance with the chili powder.

Biei is crowded with tourists during lunchtime, making it difficult to find a place to eat. Luckily, I stumbled upon a restaurant that had some available seats. The menu was easy to understand, and I quickly placed my order. I decided to try the Mt. Tokachidake dish, which consisted of saffron rice topped with two types of chicken, keema curry, cheese, and egg. Although it is a spiced curry, it is not very spicy, so I recommend adding some chili pepper or habanero for extra heat. The habanero provided a nice kick of spiciness. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal during your drive or when you're in need of lunch options!

I ordered the rich chicken curry in extra-large size. They don't have a drink menu here, which I admire for its simplicity. You can change the flavor using the spices on the table. Be careful with the habanero, it packs a punch. I didn't try the cheese curry this time, but I might give it a shot next time.
