I found this restaurant last year while searching for an Indian curry restaurant in the southern district. I couldn't visit during the winter season as they were already closed, and this year, due to the COVID-19 situation, they took a while to reopen. I finally visited in late July after finishing my motorcycle wheel bearing replacement. The restaurant is located in a quiet residential area, halfway up a steep slope of about 15%. I parked my bike at the edge of the parking lot next to the restaurant and climbed the stairs directly from the parking lot to the entrance, where the female owner guided me in from the window. When entering, you take off your shoes at the entrance, which is convenient with a 30cm step for easily removing boots. I sat at a table by the window after sanitizing my hands. The menu only had three options: chicken curry, vegetable curry, and hot sandwich. I ordered the chicken curry and when it arrived, it was served on a tray like those used for thalis or meals. I sprinkled the curry over the mixed grain rice and took a bite, exclaiming, "Oh, delicious!" Although it looks like North Indian curry, the taste is mild like South Indian curry, gently spreading in your mouth instead of hitting you with spices. The spiciness is also mild, and there are no additional spicy spices provided, following the style of Indian restaurants where you don't adjust the spiciness. The portion size is more suitable for women, so chewing well enhances the deliciousness of the rice, complemented by the flavor of the curry. In addition to the curry, the dessert made from pears in the parking lot and the potato side dish were also delicious. While there was no hot coffee available, I had Guatemalan coffee after the meal. I was surprised to see a bottle of Horoshiri Milk from Niikappu Town, and when I asked the female owner, she mentioned that she worked on the web design for it. It explained why her photos on Facebook were so well-composed. She has visited South India before, so perhaps the curry is influenced by that experience. Thank you for the meal.
