I made a net reservation at 18:15 on a regular day. It is located about an 8-minute walk from Nishi-Umeda Station on the subway, on the 30th floor of the Meiji Yasuda Life Osaka Umeda Building, and is a restaurant selected as "Tabelog Italian WEST Top 100 Restaurants 2021". The Ponte Vecchio Group currently operates 4 stores in Osaka. The Moda Di Ponte Vecchio is a large store with over 220 square meters and a total of 100 seats, opened in July 2000. The chic space offers views from 150 meters above ground, and it was managed by about 10 hall staff in black suits (suits, dress shirts, ties) and gray vests, shirts, and pants. This time, I ordered the "Cena Course ¥8250". The contents and evaluation are as follows. [◎, ◯, △] Today's appetizers: Slightly warmed mozzarella, Broccoletti's zuppetta ◯, Prosciutto, cheese, warm starter using seasonal vegetables, ◎ Fluffy truffle-scented sauce on top of "Tajima Jidori" with low-temperature cooked Tajima Jidori and sauce resonating beautifully! The accompanying asparagus and baby cabbage were also delicious. Today's recommended pasta dish: ◎ Spaghetti with oil sauce of amberjack and turnip, garnished with moist ikura marinated in fish sauce, a dish with a vivid appearance, a choice of ingredients unique to Japanese chefs. Today's recommended main dish: ◯ Charcoal-roasted thick-cut Golden Pork wrapped in salted lardo, characterized by sealing in the moisture of the Golden Pork with high-quality green onions as an accompaniment, sweet and delicious. Bread: ◯ Fluffy focaccia, chewy walnut bread, with mixed opinions about not having butter. Dessert: ◯ Neo Strawberry Shortcake, warm mascarpone sauce poured over strawberries and gelato on the cake, a truly new dessert sensation. Coffee: ◯ Aromatic cup of medium strength, Small sweets: ◯ Very rich chocolate cookie. Draft beer: ◎ Asahi TOKYO Sumidagawa Brewing Pale Ale ¥935, with a refreshing hop aroma and pleasant bitterness. White wine: ◎ Sauvignon Blanc Cosmas 2021 ¥1540, with herbaceous aroma and abundant fruitiness and acidity. The background music is live piano! The clientele consists of couples and business people. The occupancy rate is about 70%, with a female ratio of about 40%. The Tabelog rating at the time of the visit was 3.74. The overwhelmingly impressive space that boosts the tension as a wedding reception venue. It is a chic Italian WEST top 100 restaurant popular with enthusiastic couples. Thank you for the meal!

I visited this place for the first time in about 10 years. The daytime view from the 30th floor is lovely and the atmosphere is perfect for a date. I decided to order a bottle of wine, which was a bit pricey compared to the lunch menu, but I think it's more suited for dinner. When I arrived, they asked if I was in a hurry, but I said it was fine. However, it ended up taking longer than I expected, about 2 and a half hours. Thank you for the meal.

At a celebratory dinner, I decided to indulge a bit after not visiting for over a decade. The lunch course included a choice of pasta and two main dishes, with four dessert options. Once seated, we were handed the drink menu but then left unattended with no one coming to take our order. Finally, when someone did come, they confirmed our drink order and immediately asked us to choose our dishes without explaining anything. Despite that, the drinks were not served promptly. Especially the second round arrived when we were almost done with our mains. The service seemed to favor private room guests and regulars, leaving our table feeling neglected. The experience was far worse than my previous visit, and considering the payment, there are plenty of better options out there. I don't think I'll be returning next time.

We used this restaurant for lunch on our wedding anniversary. The location is about a 10-minute walk from JR Osaka Station, and you can get there through the underground passage, so we could arrive without getting sweaty even in the hot summer. The restaurant is on the 30th floor of a building, and when you take the elevator up, you will find a stylish restaurant. It is a formal restaurant, but there is no dress code, so you can enter in casual clothes without any problem. This time, we ordered the seasonal chef's special course (lunch) for 13,000 yen per person. Also, as it was our wedding anniversary, we also requested a message plate. The menu was full of unfamiliar words, but the waiter who brought the dishes explained them clearly each time and also taught us which knife, fork, or spoon to use and how to eat each dish, so even though we are not used to this kind of restaurant, we could enjoy the meal without feeling awkward. The ayu confit in the seasonal menu was so tender that you could eat the bones, and it went perfectly with the melon, very delicious. The summer vegetable jelly paired perfectly with the rich cheese, bringing out the flavor of the vegetables, and it was delicious. My wife, who tried squid ink for the first time, was very impressed. The squid was thinly sliced like pasta, with a strong squid ink flavor, and the taste of the squid was also delicious. We enjoyed other dishes that we had never tried before, experiencing something new and delicious! Finally, as it was our wedding anniversary, they beautifully wrote a message on the dessert and even took a commemorative photo. It was a wonderful restaurant that we would like to use again for any future special occasions!

Visited by reservation at night. Located on the 30th floor with a beautiful night view. We were asked to wait on the chairs in the restaurant until our reserved time. Once our time arrived, we were seated one group at a time. The course menu costs 8,800 yen and includes a choice of pasta, main dish, and dessert. I chose Tagliolini Genovese for pasta, Wagyu brisket Spaghetti for the main dish, and Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. The cold corn soup served first was delicious with crispy bacon. The bacon was so crispy it broke easily. The corn flavor was rich and tasty. They even provided a cold spoon for the cold dish. The tuna appetizer was soft and flavorful. The pasta was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, it was delicious! By the time the Wagyu brisket arrived, I was already 80% full. The Wagyu was tender and tasty with a generous portion. The Shortcake dessert was different than expected, with a soft sponge on top and strawberries and mascarpone inside. The mascarpone was rich and delicious! I have never had a Shortcake like this before. All the dishes were delicious! The piano performance added to the enjoyable dining experience. However, the dishes were served a bit slowly, leaving us with a lot of idle time. It was nice to enjoy the ambiance, but it would have been better if the dishes came out a bit faster. Thank you for the meal ⭐︎

Not only were they visually appealing, but all the dishes were delicious. The pasta with concentrated firefly squid sauce was my favorite. It was probably a seasonal dish. The performance of freezing blood orange with dry ice was impressive, although the orange bits were a bit messy. It might be better to serve it as a simple sorbet.

On a special day, I had lunch with a friend at Ponte Vecchio♡ We had the seasonal chef's choice course for ¥16,500, which included dishes made with ingredients that were freshly sourced that day. The menu consisted of: - White clam and island pickled shallot tomato marinated on bamboo shoots - Warm potato timbale with caviar - Grilled mackerel with sautéed seasonal vegetables and butter - Toyama firefly squid with rapeseed blossoms and bitter butterbur pasta - Green asparagus gnocchi - Roasted lamb milk-soaked lamb - Dessert - Coffee - Peroni Nastro Azzurro for ¥990 - Verdicchio di Matelica for ¥1,430 each - Mineral water Aqua Panna for ¥385 each The Italian dishes were all delicious and the stylish restaurant with a high ceiling of 6m offered a great view even on a cloudy day. The atmosphere was amazing, but the 3-hour lunch was a bit tiring. Overall, it was a delicious meal and a great experience.

Yasuda Meiji Seimei Building 30th floor, the entire floor seems to be used for the restaurant. It is spacious with a waiting area at the entrance, a hall, private rooms, and another hall further back. The view is indeed good, but we preferred seats farther from the windows due to concerns about UV rays. The salad at the beginning had a generous portion. The menu descriptions sometimes differed slightly from what we expected. For example, the pasta was described as being served with a creamy cheese omelette, but what we got was more like scrambled eggs with pasta. The strawberry shortcake was not the classic triangular shape we had in mind, but overall the food was delicious. The large floral arrangements were a nice touch!

Return to the day of return, I took a train ride around the streets of Osaka in the morning. When I arrived at Umeda, I noticed that I still had a travel discount. I chose this restaurant from the list of eligible stores that I wanted to visit. When I called on the same day at 11:30, they said I could come in now but it would take some time to serve, which was fine with me. I rushed from Higashi Umeda and arrived before 12 o'clock. I got a little lost in the elevator that goes up to the 30th floor of the building, but I managed to arrive. The view from 150m above ground, the 6m high ceiling, the modern space, it felt like I was in the sky. Upon entering, I was seated at a check table. I gave my name and was guided to my seat. It wasn't a table by the window, but the view below was still lovely. The table was set with a welcome dish, napkin, and cutlery. I ordered the Completo course (3980 yen + service charge) and a non-alcoholic beer (660 yen). The non-alcoholic beer was served first by the staff. The dishes were served one by one in a leisurely manner. The first surprise dish was a spring salad with concentrated broccoli puree, Kamaage shirasu from Wakayama Prefecture, and a mimosa-style egg soboro. The original focaccia pasta had two options to choose from. Both were so enticing that I couldn't decide...and ended up saying both, which made the staff laugh. I chose the latter option, which was Tagliolini with Himegobo and smoked pancetta, served with a creamy cheese omelette. I hesitated but finally received the powdered cheese first, with the option to change the flavor later. The bread was French bread. For the second course, I had the option of choosing between meat or fish. I chose the Awaji Island Ebiton pork shoulder loin stewed with sprouting cabbage and gremolata, served with apple compote. The sprouting cabbage added a nice touch to the dish. For dessert, I chose the simple "strawberry shortcake" from three options. When it was placed in front of me, my eyes widened as it was not a typical shortcake. The staff mentioned, "Our version has a lot of playful elements." It was indeed covered in something unusual. I ended the meal with coffee. The course took about two hours in total. It was a nice and leisurely experience. There were many couples dining, and I heard that the restaurant is available for private weddings as well.

I went for lunch and ordered the 4000 yen course. It included salad, pasta, meat, dessert, and coffee. The salad was delicious, a nice surprise with fresh ingredients. The pasta was good but nothing special, just a regular oil-based one. The meat, roasted pork, was dry and average. The highlight was the dessert, the tiramisu was incredibly tasty. The atmosphere is great, so I recommend it for a date. If you're looking for good food, considering the price, I wouldn't recommend it.

Recommended seasonal course ¥22,000. The highlight was definitely the signature dish, the warm Potato Timballo with Caviar. A rich buttercream made with creamy cheese on top of sweet potatoes, paired perfectly with the salty flavor of fresh caviar. The addition of scallions and the crispy, fragrant parts of the potatoes that were baked well were also excellent. I also really enjoyed the spaghetti with squid ink sauce, even though I usually don't like sea urchin. The sea urchin didn't have a strong oceanic taste, and when mixed with the sauce, it brought out a depth and richness that was surprisingly delicious! I love course meals because there are always new discoveries. It's also nice that you can choose your dessert after the meal.

I had a girls' lunch at "Mode de Ponte Vecchio," about a 7-minute walk from JR Osaka Station. The location on the 30th floor offers a fantastic view, which really lifts your spirits. I chose the Pranzo course for ¥7,150, which had a lot of options. The menu included: Zabaglione with raspberry flavor topped with fluffy truffle-scented "Tajima Jidori" chicken, cabbage tardivo, and prosciutto. Spaghetti with oil sauce of yellowtail and turnip leaves, topped with grated ikura. Roasted charcoal-grilled Golden Pork from Awaji wrapped in salted lard, served with milk sauce and white asparagus (from France). Warm chocolate soufflé with strawberry sauce (they made a new sauce with strawberries instead of alcohol for me). Mascarpone mousse. Coffee. It was all very delicious! The staff's service was also excellent. I would love to come back to this place for another girls' lunch.

I enjoyed a full-course Italian meal at "Moda Di Ponte Vecchio" on the 30th floor of the Meiji Yasuda Life Building in Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka. The view of the night skyline was truly stunning, and it seemed to be a popular spot for couples. The sommelier's recommended red wine paired perfectly with the meal. It was a fantastic dining experience.

I had the Complete lunch course. I chose the smoked pancetta pasta for the pasta, sea bream for the main course, and biancomangiare for dessert. The pasta had a tomato-based sauce with plenty of cheese fondue and grated cheese, combined with the delicious flavor of pancetta. The sea bream was tender with a nice touch of yuzu fragrance. The biancomangiare was like a mousse made with almond milk. The restaurant has a great view of Umeda and offers excellent service.

I made a reservation for 7:00 PM on a Monday holiday. When I arrived, it seemed like there were still available seats for reservations. The atmosphere was high-class, but the prices were not extremely high, so there were many young women having a girls' night out. I had the course menu for 9,075 yen, excluding service charge and drinks. The meat dishes were a bit on the salty side, but overall, everything was very delicious. The portion sizes were satisfying as well.

In Osaka's Nishi-Umeda area, there is an Italian restaurant called Ponte Vecchio West, which is one of the top 100 restaurants in the area. Ponte Vecchio means "old bridge" in Italian, which has a nice ring to it. I visited this restaurant on January 2nd after making a reservation three weeks in advance. Compared to the main branch in Kitahama, this branch has a more casual style. The service was decent and the lunch course included a salad, pasta, main dish, and dessert. The portion of pasta was quite generous. I also added the special caviar dish, so I left feeling very full. Thank you for the meal.

I used a private room for a lunch meeting. There is an additional fee for the private room, but it is recommended when you want to have a leisurely conversation. The staff were very polite and willingly took photos for us. The food is delicious and it is an Italian restaurant where you can casually dine. The interior is mainly white, so it seems like a good place for taking photos.

I revisited the restaurant with a friend who had moved from Tokyo to Kyoto. The service has changed to a simple system where coats are checked at the cloakroom and guests are escorted to their tables, unlike before when black-suited staff lined up at the entrance. The presentation of the dishes is simple, but the flavors are excellent. I was particularly impressed by the main dish, the chicken paillotine. Despite my initial concern about any unpleasant smell from the chicken, it was actually full of delicious flavor. I had been eating a lot of beef recently, but the chicken dish was truly delicious. The portion size was surprisingly large, and I ended up feeling quite full. I also liked the original plates and cutlery used at the restaurant. The focaccia was wonderfully moist, and I couldn't resist getting seconds. If only the glass of champagne had been a bit cheaper... The service and the view were both fantastic. Thank you for the wonderful meal. I'm looking forward to revisiting with my daughter next time.

I love the warm potato timbale and caviar at this restaurant, so I went there after a long time. This time, I visited for my junior colleague's wedding celebration, so I was expecting good service, but it was the worst. The wine explanation was terrible, and they were slow to refill the wine glass when it was empty. Some staff didn't even know where the bottle was placed. Despite taking notes for the order, they kept asking and getting it wrong. The atmosphere is nice, and the food is delicious, but it's really disappointing.

Visit date and time: 12:15 on a weekday Wait time: None Menu: Completo 3,960 yen I visited for lunch at this Italian restaurant, which is one of the top 100 in the country. Since it was lunchtime, I opted for a relatively affordable course. The interior of the restaurant is all white, with white dishes and walls. The high ceiling creates a very open and spacious atmosphere. The course included appetizers, pasta, main dish, dessert, and espresso. Each dish was beautifully presented with great colors and flavors. It was delicious and satisfying. Having a leisurely lunch like this is a great way to relax. Next time, I would like to make a reservation and dine by the window with a view. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
