I visited in the evening. This time, I ordered the Fresh Cozy trio of Berry Cozy Amazake soft serve. Fresh Cozy has a strong sweetness, but it's not unpleasant, it's a natural sweetness. The three types of Berry Cozy didn't have much of a koji taste, but the berries were delicious. The soft serve had the taste and flavor of rice koji amazake, and it surprisingly went well with the soft serve, creating a delicious combination. I love koji amazake, so everything was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I had been curious about this shop for a while. Even though I'm not a fan of sweet sake, I decided to cool down by visiting the shop because it was hot. It was my first time, so I chose the summer limited Citrus Mix. My partner went with the safe option of Fresh Cozy. The Citrus Mix was refreshing and delicious, but if you want to enjoy the taste of koji, then Fresh Cozy is the way to go. You can really taste the sweetness of the koji in it! It was quite sweet, but not overly sticky, so it was enjoyable to drink. We also had soft serve ice cream, which was also delicious with a strong koji flavor! The flavors are so intriguing that I want to go back again to try more!

On August 13, 2023 (Sunday) at 16:20, I visited the restaurant for the second time with my wife and three sons! I had visited alone for the first time recently and wanted to treat my wife, who loves koji, so I was happy to visit again. On this day, we started with soft serve ice cream at a sightseeing farm, visited Kamikawa Shrine, had a vegetable lunch at a renovated cafe, and enjoyed a hot spring at Lodge Nutapkaushi. We planned to relax our tired bodies in the hot spring and then refresh with rice koji juice. My wife chose the popular No. 1 soy milk kinako cozy (400 yen), while my sons and I chose the milk cozy (380 yen). Last time, I found it a bit too sweet, but I realized that you can request it with less sweetness. The milk cozy had a nice milky flavor, which was also delicious. My wife was delighted, saying, "Today is all about doing good things for our bodies." We still have more to do today - next, we'll head to Tomisawa for soft serve ice cream. "Yes! Along this R275 route, there is a small village called Chiyogaoka, and I was surprised to find a shop like this in such a place. I had seen it a few times since returning to Asahikawa, and with high ratings from my followers, I knew I had to visit. If it's delicious, I also want to bring my wife who loves amazake. With these thoughts in mind, I visited on a rainy day. Inside the shop, there was a female staff member and no other customers, just three lively women who seemed like mom friends. I ordered the Fresh Cozy COLD (350 yen) for takeout. Wow! The difference was noticeable from the first sip. The wonderful flavor of the non-heated raw koji came through very well. Made from "Yumepirika" rice grown with organic fertilizer in Asahikawa by a contracted farmer and processed for over 50 hours in the workshop behind the store, this koji has a strong commitment to quality. Personally, I thought it could be a bit less sweet, but among the amazake I've had in the Asahikawa area, it was by far the most delicious. By the way, the best amazake I've ever had as a couple was the complimentary amazake at the "Furukawa" inn in Jozankei Onsen (^ω^) Unfortunately, this one didn't surpass that, but it was still a cup full of dedication that made me want to bring my wife here. Thank you for the meal! I will definitely make sure to visit again when passing by the shop! They also offer soft serve ice cream made with rice koji sweet sake, which I also tried. I ordered the "Rice Koji Sweet Sake Soft Serve" (380 yen) with the optional "Rich Rice Koji Sauce" topping. The soft serve made with homemade rice koji sweet sake and Jersey milk was a unique taste, with a refreshing sweetness. If you're curious about what kind of drink it is, please take a look at the photo. It's really impressive. The restrained sweetness of the malted rice is truly wonderful. I just returned from a 3-night, 4-day trip in the air, and I didn't receive such a high-quality drink on the plane (at the time of posting). Even in first class on domestic flights, they may serve champagne, but it's not the same. I waited my turn to be seated and finally ordered the Tomato Koji. It was described as having a great combination of tomato and koji. I drank it in my car and it truly had a harmonious taste as described. You might think tomato and koji don't go together, but you'll understand once you try it. Koji must be versatile in flavor.
