牛丼仮面
Today, I went to a drinking party at "Takada" in Izumisano with two colleagues from work. It's a highly popular restaurant in southern Osaka, so we made a reservation in advance. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were seated at a table on the second floor and started with some draft beer. The charm of this place lies in its diverse menu, ranging from fresh seafood to meat, tempura, pizza, sweets, and even ramen. Everything is not only delicious but also reasonably priced. We ordered a la carte this time, and I will review the dishes we had.
- Starter: Sesame blowfish with ponzu sauce, a refreshing and tasty start.
- Bonito sashimi: Small portion but very delicious.
- Simmered octopus: A bit disappointing for octopus lovers.
- Fried oysters: Perfectly fried with a juicy oyster inside.
- Grilled clam: Absolutely delicious, had to order more.
- Seared Spanish mackerel: Rich and tasty, loved the fatty texture.
- Grilled shrimp with salt: Extremely delicious, had to order more.
- Striped jack with ponzu sauce: Fresh and flavorful, the fat was sweet and delicious.
- Whitefish sashimi: A fun dish to eat, difficult to pick up but tasty.
- Grilled oysters: Another outstanding dish, had to order more.
- Pork offal pancake: Top-notch in terms of taste, everyone loved it.
- Grilled conger eel: Juicy and perfectly grilled, accelerated the pace of drinking.
- Sea urchin sushi: A single piece but delicious, a quick and satisfying bite.
- Snow crab miso salad: A great appetizer that went well with sake.
- Red snapper soup: The best dish of the day, sucked the marrow from the bones.
- Grilled stingray fin: Excellent sear, kept the sake flowing.
- Herring roe: A delightful dish that brought back memories of New Year's.
- Simmered red snapper roe: A traditional New Year's dish, looking forward to a good year.
- Fried small shrimp: Perfectly seasoned, my favorite.
- Pickled water eggplant: A local favorite, a refreshing side dish.
- Chinese noodles: We initially planned to eat at a nearby ramen shop, but the noodles here were even better.
We indulged in these dishes while I drank 3 draft beers, 5 hot sakes, 2 bottles of Tosa Tsuru, 2 bottles of Kuroge Wagyu, and 1 bottle of Kureharu. My colleagues also drank a similar amount. The total bill came to 10,700 yen per person, exceeding our expectations but worth it for the delicious food and drinks. The atmosphere was lively, and we had a great time.
