2023/04/23 First visit. On the way back from an outing, I decided to visit various places during lunchtime on a holiday, but every store had a waiting line. After 2 PM, the lunch rush was over, so I visited Chukarou at AEON Ebetsu store for the first time. I ordered the Ankake Yakisoba and Chukarou Zen from the menu. - Ankake Yakisoba 980 yen A large plate filled with Ankake Yakisoba. It was hot, tasty, and delicious. The portion size was sufficient. - Chukarou Zen 1480 yen A luxurious Chukarou Zen with two main dishes. The main dishes were Chinjao Rosu and Ebi Chili. The Chinjao Rosu had a good balance of flavors and was delicious. The Ebi Chili had plump shrimp and was also delicious. It was a satisfying lunch with a good cost performance. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again.

Before watching a movie at Ion Cinema, I decided to grab something to eat. I ordered the shrimp salt and pepper ramen. It arrived in about five minutes since it wasn't busy. It was piping hot, so I had to be careful not to burn myself. I started by adding some pepper, then later added a lot of vinegar to change up the flavor. The Chinese food here is your typical neighborhood Chinese cuisine, and it matched my expectations perfectly. Sometimes, I just really crave this kind of food.

In Sapporo, it's not easy to find a lunch set for 800 yen. The portion of the Chinjao Rosu is quite generous with lots of meat, and the rice is packed. The set includes salad, soup, pickled vegetables, and dessert for 800 yen. There are not many restaurants in Ebe but this place offers a satisfying meal and is recommended.

This is the AEON in Higashi-Ebetsu, which has a movie theater inside. I had Chinese food on this day. Although there were quite a few empty seats, it took some time to be seated. I had the Ankake Yakisoba set, which came with soup, pickled vegetables, and dessert. The pickled vegetables were not that great. The Ankake Yakisoba had a pretty strong flavor, so it was just right to add plenty of vinegar.

I really felt like eating fried rice and also wanted a bit of ramen. When I saw they had a half ramen, half fried rice set, I was so happy and ordered it. When it arrived, I was surprised. The ramen was only half but the fried rice was a full portion. There was also plenty of pickled vegetables. The amount was amazing. First, the ramen. It's not like ramen from a ramen shop, but it was soy sauce ramen with bean sprouts and ground meat, which was a strange combination but no problem. Next, the fried rice. This was delicious! Nothing special, but it was the authentic fried rice that I wanted to eat. It was a large portion, but I managed to finish it all. I'm going to get fat!

This might be the last time I have lunch around here, huh? I wonder if I should try the ankake yakisoba. Should I go to a new restaurant I've never been to before? So, here we go. This Chinese restaurant on the first floor of Aeon looks kind of questionable. I ordered the ankake yakisoba set in a large portion. It cost 900 yen plus 100 yen tax. First of all, the water tastes bad. It's like melted ice, you know? Not good at all. And I don't know if it's busy, but I ended up waiting quite a bit. It took around 20 minutes I think? Finally, the food arrived. Since I ordered a large portion, there's actually quite a lot of noodles. The noodles are kind of chewy, like steamed noodles for commercial use that have been fried. Not bad, but my favorite is the ankake yakisoba-style noodles from a ramen shop called "Medaka" in front of the Minami Police Station. They boil ramen noodles and then fry them. That's the best. The ankake sauce here is just a normal soy sauce flavor? The ingredients seem a bit lacking. Could use more cabbage, meat, and shrimp, don't you think? The cooking of the ingredients is not bad, though. They are crunchy. The soup is not good. It has a kind of gamey smell. The pickled vegetables are just okay, maybe unnecessary. The almond jelly dessert seems to be for business use, but it's nice to have. It's sweet and refreshing. The ankake yakisoba alone costs 820 yen. With the soup, pickled vegetables, and almond jelly, it's 900 yen. They have various menu items, so I might come back again. Not sure when though!

Today is my day off! Usually I have consecutive holidays, but I have to work tomorrow, so I have to go to the orthopedic clinic for my back rehabilitation and medication. After that, I will visit my grandmother and then it will be the end of my day. For lunch, I decided to try a ramen restaurant that I had been curious about after reading reviews on Tabelog. It used to be very popular and had several branches in Hokkaido, but one day I noticed that it had closed down. However, there is still one branch in Ebetsu. I drove from my home in Sapporo to Ebetsu on Route 12, passing by Aeon Ebetsu store on the left. My wife was on the lookout and she spotted the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was closed as it was their regular holiday. My wife scolded me for not checking the holiday schedule beforehand. We decided to go to a Chinese restaurant nearby that we hadn't tried before. The restaurant was spacious and clean, with a welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the soy sauce ramen with braised pork for 820 yen including tax, while my wife ordered the dan dan noodles set for 980 yen including tax. My ramen had generous portions of chopped green onions, bean sprouts, spinach, wood ear mushrooms, and two large pieces of braised pork. The braised pork was delicious and the ramen noodles were similar to Sapporo ramen. The soup was decent. My wife's dan dan noodles were also delicious, especially the pickled mustard greens. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

The daily lunch special was a spicy stir-fried liver dish, which I usually don't enjoy, but I was able to eat this one. The salad that came with it was a bit disappointing. Overall, the rating would be average.

I stopped by Chukarou at AEON Ebetsu store for lunch. The portion was generous and delicious! I enjoyed a variety of dishes with the Chukarou set.

Bungee salad (generous portion), egg fried rice (delicious), xiaolongbao soup (mild in flavor).

Although it's Chinese cuisine, the shrimp chili, tantanmen, spring rolls, and rice were all surprisingly delicious. The almond jelly was unbelievably tasty. I will definitely be coming back for more.
