I went to this restaurant in Kitashinchi with three friends. It was a Saturday but luckily they were open! The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with only a counter. The staff and the master were all smiling and welcoming. We started with a toast and then let our friend who recommended the place order for us. We were served cabbage and a variety of kimchi including Chinese cabbage, radish, oi kimchi, and yam. The flavors were all great! Then came the liver, yukhoe, raw liver, harami sashimi, and heart sashimi, among others. The meat was incredibly delicious, with a sweetness that melted in your mouth. We also had white rice which was of high quality and enhanced our appetite. The grilled dishes included thick and thin slices of tongue, negi shio tan, and more. The thick slices of tongue were particularly delicious! The meat was tender and perfectly cooked, making it easy to enjoy. We also had ichibo, harami, loin, kalbi, all of which were best enjoyed with wasabi or salt to bring out the sweetness of the meat. The restaurant's sauce was also very flavorful! The quality for the price was exceptional. The salt, wasabi, and sauce all enhanced the meat's flavor. We also had large shiitake mushrooms, which were thick and juicy. Grilled slowly, I enjoyed them with lemon juice. The soup options included yukkejang, which could be adjusted for spiciness. I found the soup to be spicy but gentle, with soft eggs. For dessert, we had a small portion of cold noodles, which had a Japanese twist to the Korean dish. It was light and refreshing, with a hint of Iwate cold noodles. Although it didn't have fruit, the boiled egg and kimchi added a nice touch. This restaurant is truly deserving of its place in the 2022 Top 100 list. Despite its small and retro vibe with just a counter, it is a fantastic place to dine. It's a big hit for me and I will definitely be back. Make sure to make a reservation before you go!

I have written this multiple times, but the sauce culture in Western Japan is great. Whether it's yakitori or yakiniku, each restaurant has its own unique sauce that makes it enjoyable. From tare, harami, tan, shio, hatsu, to misuji, mino, and ume flavor, everything goes well with rice. If there were yakiniku restaurants in Kanto that served such sauces, it would be amazing. Overall, the quality of the meat is good, and the ume-flavored tare is a nice change. While the horumon dishes are not bad, they are slightly lower in quality. It's great that they are open until late at night!

It's a great place with a hundred seats. They are open until around 3 am, which is convenient. As a solo diner, I appreciate that it's a yakiniku restaurant with only counter seating. I had the Nakaochi Kalbi, Tan Kalbi, and Harami (skirt steak). The Tan Kalbi was especially delicious. They also serve rice, Chinese cabbage kimchi, refreshing celery pickles, and black oolong tea. The restaurant was very clean and well-maintained. After 10 pm, there is a 20% surcharge for late-night dining.

Visited the restaurant for an "Otsukare-kai" after returning from a business trip overseas! The interior had only counter seats, and regular customers were chatting happily with the manager while enjoying their yakiniku. The atmosphere was very calming, and I ended up staying longer than planned. They had a great selection of classic yakiniku dishes as well as raw meat options, which made it feel like heaven for those who enjoy drinking alcohol! Japanese yakiniku is truly the best. Check out this great value restaurant in Osaka, located in Kitashinchi called "Daiban." Here are some of the dishes I tried: - Thick-cut tongue for ¥2,530 - Salted tongue for ¥1,650 - Skirt meat for ¥2,420 - Harami (skirt steak) for ¥1,980 - Harami sashimi for ¥1,320 - Senmai (beef intestine) sashimi for ¥660 The portion sizes are for one person. The prices are reasonable for yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) and the quality is top-notch. The menu isn't extensive, but they have a good selection of sashimi dishes. The restaurant only has counter seats and is on the smaller side, so reservations are recommended, especially during peak hours. They are closed on Sundays. Hello! Tonight, I came to a recommended yakiniku restaurant in Kitashinchi. The place is called Oobansan, a long-established establishment known for their roast meat. We started with a toast and some kimchi, followed by fresh raw intestine on the hot plate. Then we tried the beautifully colored tantan, which had a great texture. We also enjoyed their recommended meats, like harami. After eating harami, we had some rice. The sauce was delicious. We mixed kimchi and harami with the rice in a bowl. Finally, we finished with some soup.

I usually go to a different yakiniku restaurant in Kitashinchi, but I wanted to try somewhere new this time. This place seems to be quite popular, so reservations are necessary. The restaurant is relatively small with only a counter, and they have fresh ingredients and very delicious meat. You can enjoy yakiniku at a reasonable price, so I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

Visited with a friend. Heard it had great value for money, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The sweetness of the meat was exceptional, not reflected in the price. The sirloin, harami, and mino were especially delicious. The cold noodles at the end were also great. We were prepared to pay a decent amount due to the location, but even us common folks could enjoy it. Definitely a restaurant we will visit again.

It was a delicious yakiniku restaurant. The beef tripe sashimi had no smell and tasted great with vinegar miso. It goes well with beer. The beef sashimi had a great sweetness and texture. The tongue opened up like a flower when grilled, and was tender and had a great texture. The ribeye, skirt steak, and short rib were all delicious and I could eat as much as I wanted. The beef tendon was also cut into small pieces, making it easy to eat and I could eat as much as I wanted. The beef cheek meat was thinly sliced and paired well with beer. I drank a lot and ate a lot, but it was surprisingly affordable. It's a great deal.

One of the popular yakiniku restaurants in Kitashinchi is Oobansan. I visited after a long time and even though it was late at night, the place was packed as expected! Since it was late, I decided not to order too much to save money. Here's what we had: - Grilled smelt sashimi 660 yen - Seared liver 990 yen - Bean sprout namul 330 yen - Fried garlic 440 yen - Thick-cut tongue 2,530 yen - Harami (skirt steak) 1,980 yen - Mino (tripe) 880 yen - Oobansan mixed rice porridge 660 yen - Cold noodles 880 yen I don't have photos of everything, but overall, the food was incredibly delicious! Even though I didn't eat much meat, it was so tasty! The thick-cut tongue was a bit pricey but worth it for the flavor. It literally melted in my mouth! I regret not trying more types of meat, so I definitely want to go back soon for a rematch.

I made a reservation for dinner! The restaurant is not very big, so it's better to make a reservation! We had thick-cut beef tongue, grilled meat, top harami, heart, kalbi, and today's lean meat. The thick-cut tongue was incredibly juicy and delicious. The meat here, especially the harami, was really good. I highly recommend it. Also, the shiitake mushrooms were delicious, I became addicted to them. I started grilling them at home too, but the ones at the restaurant are better. I also loved the kimchi assortment, especially the long yam kimchi. Overall, every meat dish here is delicious!

The quietly located shop on the first floor of a mixed-use building exudes a nostalgic Showa era atmosphere, which is quite different from the surrounding shops and adds to its charm. While waiting for the meat to arrive, I moistened my throat with a beer and was amazed by the thickness of the slices when they finally arrived. I started with the loin, and the way the sauce soaked into the meat was simply delightful. I then enjoyed the belly and the skirt steak, all of which were delicious and disappeared quickly.

The taste is the best among all the yakiniku I have ever eaten in terms of cost performance. There are private rooms and the quality is very high. It is not difficult to talk as there are partitions at the counter, making it easy to enjoy delicious yakiniku in a relaxed atmosphere.

Yakiniku Revenge (´^ω^`) lol Well, well, I made a reservation properly last week at this famous restaurant, so there was availability even during the year-end (`✧ω✧´). It was a 90-minute session from 18:00 to 19:30♪ I love "Harami," a high-protein, low-calorie meat part that contains potassium, iron, vitamin B12, and zinc. I tried Harami sashimi for the first time here and it was amazing♡ Even though it was my first visit, the staff were so nice, saying, "Please feel free to order anything." The tongue and outside skirt were also delicious (´ 。•ω•。) And the big shiitake mushroom... it was incredible! The mix of sweetness and umami was so good that it didn't even need salt!! I was impressed eating it just grilled as it is♡ The wild boar meat, despite being game meat, didn't have any strong taste for my palate. On the second day of my trip to Osaka, I revisited a restaurant I had been to before, called Ooban. It is known for serving delicious and affordable horumon (offal) in Kita-Shinchi. The restaurant is located about a 2-3 minute walk from Kita-Shinchi Station, in a small counter-only establishment with around 10 seats. They are open until 3 am. The meal starts with cabbage as an appetizer, which you eat with sauce. This is a unique culture not found in Tokyo. This time, the quality of the horumon, specifically the harami (skirt steak), seemed to be lower compared to my previous visit. It may be due to changes in sourcing or ingredients because of rising costs. Despite this, they still offer a variety of skewered dishes, making it a good choice for a casual yakitori-style meal. Tonight, I'm going to have a hearty yakiniku meal♪ First time at Ooban-san♪ The counter has 10 seats... it feels nostalgic. Starting with harami sashimi and raw liver, cheers with white wine✨ My favorite mino ponzu sauce goes well with the wine. Salted tongue is always good♪ Moving on to the second bottle of white wine٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ The meat looks beautiful and all of them are delicious❤️ Oh no, there aren't many photos of the meat... I also enjoy garlic oil grilling, munching away! I love the sauce too... wrapping it in lettuce and munching away! The entrance and inside of the store were very narrow, making it hard to enter, but once I entered, it wasn't a problem at all! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice! The meat was amazing! Everything I tried was delicious! Even the celery pickles were great! I ordered thick-cut tongue, kalbi, plum salted hormone, celery pickles, liver, pork belly, kupa, kimchi, etc... I tried the plum salted hormone, which I had never seen anywhere else, and the sourness of the plum combined with the sweetness of the oil was excellent! For plum lovers, I highly recommend it! I will definitely go back again!

I used to visit the yakiniku restaurant "Daiban" on Kitashinchi Hon-dori occasionally, and this time after a long time, I tried the harami, which I remember was delicious. The harami was satisfying at this price point and quality in Kitashinchi. It's a bit disappointing that a staff member who I got along with has left, but I will visit again. Thank you for the meal.
