I didn't hear much about "Robatayaki Shikotsu" located inside ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Chitose, and I had an image of it being similar to "Hokkaido Hana" in terms of fresh and impeccable seafood hospitality. However, it was a shocking restaurant that completely overturned my image. It turned out to be a highly impressive dinner, and I have a lot to write about. The level of this experience was what I was craving for. The first visit was a fortunate encounter. The space was cozy and just the right size, not too big or too small. The counter displayed fresh seafood and vegetables with a sign saying "freshly sourced!" which immediately raised my excitement. We started with a toast with beer and then moved on to the scallop sashimi. The scallop was served right from the "fish tank" in the kitchen! Cooking right in front of us! I was shocked at how this was possible in Chitose. The taste and appearance were both amazing. Next was the live Botan shrimp, which was transparent. The shrimp was transparent! I savored the transparent flesh and was in heaven. The miso was turquoise blue and had a subtle sweetness, creating a delightful experience. Then came the hair crab (grilled and washed). I had never seen "washing a crab" before. The crab legs were adorned with a fluffy, white, and transparent flower-like decoration. I couldn't resist and quickly indulged in it. The taste was indescribable, refreshing, soft, fruity, and delightful. I couldn't stop eating. Next was the oysters (from Akkeshi), which were steamed. The oysters were too big to eat in one bite, and the oyster and broth were so rich and delicious that I could have had multiple glasses of champagne. The crab shell with sake was a unique experience, with a strong scent of the sea and a rich, warm sake. It was a heavenly combination. The freshly picked Maibuna mushrooms and Shiitake mushrooms grilled on the hearth were incredibly flavorful, meaty, and satisfying. It felt like I was eating rice. Lastly, the fried Kasube fish in a simmered sauce was unexpectedly delicious, and I wished there were more than just three pieces.

This is a restaurant located inside ANA Crown Plaza. As the name suggests, it is a restaurant mainly focused on robatayaki (Japanese charcoal grill). The atmosphere is quite lively and doesn't feel like a typical hotel restaurant. The attached photo shows a course meal priced at 17,000 yen, which may feel a bit expensive. However, it's understandable as it is a restaurant within a hotel.

The hotel is not far from the station, and it's nice to have a restaurant of this quality inside the hotel. As expected of ANA Crowne Plaza. It's not a stiff formal reception, but it's a place where you can feel that they will take good care of you. You can tell that they put a lot of effort into cooking with carefully selected ingredients from various parts of Hokkaido. The reception went well, and it was a night when I bought a Napoli from Secoma. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The atmosphere of the restaurant and the service from the staff were outstanding! However, the overall portion sizes were quite small, likely prioritizing presentation, and the prices felt high, possibly geared towards tourists. The grilled dishes and sashimi were delicious, but overall, none of the menu items seemed worth the price.

I used it for a commemorative dinner. In a private room, there were families who seemed to be meeting each other for the first time, and couples who looked like tourists, so I thought it was a restaurant in a hotel. However, choosing this place was the right decision. The menu was just right for the stomach, and the course had a Hokkaido vibe, so it was enjoyable for locals and for those from outside Hokkaido to experience the flavors of Hokkaido. I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

Third visit. Everything here is really delicious no matter what you order. My favorite is the Oyster Assortment in the photo. You can enjoy various flavors and have a fun and delicious meal. The crab is also around 8000 yen for this size? It's nice to be able to enjoy it at a price that is unimaginable in Sapporo.

I enjoyed a 3-day trip to Chitose combining business, golf, and a birthday celebration! On the first night, I stayed at the ANA Hotel and dined at the luxurious robatayaki restaurant Shikotsu on the first floor. It was such a luxurious evening enjoying local ingredients cooked on the robatayaki grill! Everything was delicious, from the grilled king crab to the grilled corn, long onions, and Ezo deer. The service from the staff was also very kind and attentive, making it a wonderful and enjoyable birthday celebration. Thank you for the delicious meal again today!

Oyster Kingdom. A shop where foreigners gather! The counter is packed with overseas customers. I thought I was in a foreign country. The oyster menu looked very fancy and delicious, so I ordered it. Every flavor was delicious, but the oysters with mascarpone were the best.

This is a shop located in the center of the bustling district of Chitose City. There is a train station and bus stop nearby, and there are parking lots and taxi services within walking distance, making it convenient. I visited here because I wanted to eat their live crab. It was fresh, sweet, and had a great texture. I highly recommend this shop.

In Chitose City, Hokkaido, there is a restaurant called "Shikotsu" located inside ANA CROWNE PLAZA Hotel. The prices range from 600 yen to 2600 yen per dish, with course meals starting from 8500 yen. The total cost for one person can be around 10000 yen. Despite the high prices, the food is delicious according to the diners. That's "Shikotsu" for you.

The restaurant inside ANA Crown Plaza Hotel is a bit pricey. We had a course that included a few slices of grilled Japanese beef sirloin in a private room. Since we had a large group, we ended up in a private room, but I still think sitting at the robata grill would have been better. I regret not ordering a la carte dishes that were more robata-style and Hokkaido-like. The course, beer, highball, and cold sake were as usual, but it was quite an expense. Next time, I will choose the robata floor.
