Salt-seasoned vegetable stir-fry set meal for 990 yen. Today's lunch was at Gohan-ya Sachimaru. It's a restaurant I always go to for lunch. The portion size is generous, so if you have a small appetite, you can ask for less rice. Today's dish was salt-seasoned vegetable stir-fry. The balance of salt seasoning is just right, making the rice go down smoothly. Plenty of vegetables and thick slices of pork. The vegetable stir-fry is very filling.

Sachimaru is a rice restaurant located in Higashi Asahikawa. When I went there before, they were sold out so I couldn't eat, but today I was able to eat, which was nice. I had the pork belly chirashi hitsumabushi. The rice portion was generous. The meat was quite tough. The taste was average. As a pork belly lover, I was a bit disappointed. If the pork belly was more tender and flavorful, I might consider going back. I am satisfied after visiting once. Maybe other menu items are better. If you like eating a lot of food, this place might be for you. For those who like fried chicken or meat dishes, it's a good choice. The parking lot is small, so it's better to be careful about parking on the roadside. Despite being in the countryside, I felt like it might bother the locals. The interior of the restaurant had a retro and lovely atmosphere. P.S. You are required to disinfect the slippers you wear by yourself and return them to the slipper rack.

Hmm, what's wrong? Last night's popular Genghis Khan BBQ place, the meat quality... I wonder what happened? It's embarrassing to have two consecutive failures, haha. Last time, it was so tender and delicious. When it arrived, there was less fat and it was my preferred type, but because of the lack of fat, it wasn't as tender as before. Still tasty though. It just didn't have the same impact as last time. My wife had the simmered pork belly over rice bowl, but she said it was just okay. The rice is supposed to be the highlight. It's a rice place, but the rice wasn't that good. The rice balls were not good, so I think it would be better if they tasted a bite before serving it to the customers every day. Don't you think a set meal should come with piping hot freshly cooked rice as a must? In that sense, I feel like the all-you-can-eat rice at a tonkatsu restaurant rarely disappoints. I'm considering revisiting...

This is my second visit. It's Saturday, but I was able to get a seat. Last time, I was completely impressed by the punch of the braised pork, so today I ordered a different menu. I got the fried chicken curry and soba set for 1300 yen. The fried chicken was crispy and really delicious with two pieces. The curry was also delicious, but personally I felt that the rice was a little soft. The rice texture is a matter of preference though... As you can see in the photo, the portion size is still generous as usual. I was full again today. Next time, I might go for the fried chicken set.

On weekends, it's crowded and hard to get in, but I was able to go on a weekday. I had been curious about Sachimaru's braised pork, so I chose the braised pork soba set meal. Braised pork soba set meal for 1400 yen. The braised pork was a whole piece in the soba, making a strong visual impact and satisfying to eat. Also, the rice was served in a bowl with a large portion, so that was also quite filling. I managed to finish the soba completely, and it left me feeling full. It's a popular restaurant, so it can be crowded on weekends and hard to get in, so if you have time on a weekday, I recommend giving it a try. Just a note, they only accept cash payments, no electronic money was accepted.

I visited this restaurant for the first time after being intrigued by the reviews. While their big-sized braised pork rice set is famous, I, a fan of fried chicken, didn't hesitate to order the fried chicken set. The husband and wife duo worked efficiently, and my order was served promptly. The flavor wasn't too strong, but the juicy chicken was perfectly fried. The texture of the coating was also really good, making it very delicious. The side salad with the original nut dressing was also tasty. I would like to try the braised pork next time.

I had heard about this place being delicious for a while and was curious, but couldn't make a reservation. So I decided to be the first customer right after they opened. The place quickly filled up with customers one after another. I was intrigued by the braised pork belly dish, which was limited to 10 servings. It was said to be very filling, but I found it satisfying even when eating it normally or turning it into ochazuke. The flavor change in the ochazuke was delicious and increased my appetite. I would like to try something different next time.

I have always been interested in braised pork, so when my friend mentioned that their senior colleague couldn't make it well, I saw an opportunity! I suggested visiting this restaurant on the way back from Erimo to Asahikawa. It was delicious! I immediately decided to come back again. The restaurant's comment mentioned that the braised pork is mainly lean meat with little fat, but on this day, it was quite fatty, so I removed about 80% of it. Still, there must have been around 250g left. And for only 350 yen, you can also get a drink and fried bread as a set, so I didn't hesitate to order it! Both of my friends were very satisfied, and I'm glad I brought them here.

Today's lunch was at Gohan-ya Sachimaru. I've been hooked on the simmered pork belly over rice lately. My partner ordered the simmered pork belly curry, which was too filling. I opted for the simmered pork belly over rice with a side of curry, enjoying both curry and ochazuke to my heart's content.

Pork belly simmered hittsumabushi set meal for 1100 yen. Today's lunch was at Gohan-ya Sachimaru. It seems like the menu has changed a bit. I decided to go with the pork belly hittsumabushi. It was served in about 10 minutes. As always, the portion size is generous. It comes with shredded pork belly, a whole piece of pork belly, condiments, broth, pickles, and miso soup. I started by taking a bite of the whole piece of pork belly. It was tender. Then I tried the shredded pork belly on top of the hittsumabushi. It was also tender and flavorful. The seasoned rice was delicious as well. Lastly, I enjoyed the broth tea pickles. I poured the broth over the hittsumabushi in a bowl, added condiments and wasabi. The combination of wasabi's spiciness, the broth, and the sweet taste of the pork belly was amazing.

I went to a family-run restaurant with a slightly old-fashioned atmosphere for lunch. I had heard that the portions were generous, so I brought a friend along to help me out. Looking at the menu, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have ramen. I ended up ordering the Pork and Vegetable Stir-Fry set meal for 800 yen, and also tried the Cold Soba for 320 yen. With my friend by my side, I felt confident and ordered boldly. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly. The dishes were served on large trays, with huge portions. I was relieved that I had brought my friend along to help me finish the food. The Cold Soba was a challenge, but I did my best. The stir-fried vegetables had just the right amount of saltiness and the vegetables were crunchy and delicious. The rice was a bit soft, but still acceptable. It seems that the Braised Pork is a popular menu item at Sachi Maru, so I'll have to try it next time as a side dish for rice. It's all about the snacks, right? Thank you for the meal!

Ordered a pork cutlet bowl and added a little curry on the side. It was a bold move, but the staff at the restaurant seemed to find it amusing. I think it's a great idea to enjoy two different flavors - both the pork cutlet bowl and the curry. I feel proud of myself for coming up with this idea. That's how my day went.

Katsudon set with udon for 980 yen. Today's lunch was at Gohan-ya Sachimaru. It seems to be popular lately. I decided to go with the katsudon and udon set. It was a bit too much food, but that's okay. As always, it was delicious and I ended up feeling very full.

Pork Cutlet Curry 1200 yen
Today's lunch was at Gohan-ya Sachimaru. I have been coming here every day. Today, I chose the pork cutlet curry. The curry is said to be mild. It was served in about 10 minutes. You can adjust the spiciness by adding spicy oil to your liking. The large cutlet was tender and had a substantial yet light feel to it. The curry has a rich and deep flavor that I really enjoy.

Sachimaru's capricious indulgent bento box for 1090 yen. Today's lunch was at Sachimaru, where I had their limited edition bento box. There were still 10 available. It includes braised pork and fried chicken, as well as mapo eggplant, spring rolls, and fruits. If you want to try both the fried chicken and braised pork, this is highly recommended.

Yannyeom Chicken Set Meal 980 yen
Today's lunch was at Gohan-ya Sachimaru. Last time I had the braised pork set meal, so today I chose the Yannyeom chicken set meal. It was served in about 10 minutes. The large pieces of fried chicken were coated in a generous amount of sweet and spicy sauce, with five pieces in total. They were tender and juicy, making it easy to eat with rice. Despite the generous portion, I finished the whole meal.

Pork belly simmered lunch set for 1,090 yen. Today's lunch was at Gohan-ya Sachimaru. It's a hearty meal with a whole piece of pork belly simmered on the plate. It's easy to eat with chopsticks as it's soft and easy to cut into bite-sized pieces. The seasoning is also very good. In addition to the simmered pork belly, the set includes side dishes, pickles, miso soup, and rice. It's a lunch that can become a bit addictive.

On 21/10/08, I had the "Braised Pork Belly Set Meal for 1090 yen" for lunch during a business trip in the city. I visited the East Asahikawa area again. Today's lunch spot was here, a place I had been eyeing for a while. Unfortunately, they had to close for a long period during the state of emergency. Today is my long-awaited first visit. The restaurant, renovated from an old folk house, has a retro interior. I was seated at a sunny counter seat. I had already decided on my order before arriving. Excuse me, I'll have the Braised Pork Belly Set Meal, please. It was served in 14 minutes. It was huge! I was overwhelmed by the size of the braised pork belly, which was longer than chopsticks when stretched straight. I took a bite. Oh, it's delicious. The braised pork belly was not the usual rich flavor. It had a glossy, rounded, and refreshing taste. With this seasoning, you can fully enjoy the natural umami of the meat. The daikon radish on the side was delicious as it looked. The pumpkin stew was also hearty and tasty. I kept eating happily. My stomach is full. I asked the staff at the time of payment. The braised pork belly has a refreshing seasoning. "Our braised pork belly is large, so we season it like this so that you don't get tired of eating it." I see. The top menu item here is the fried chicken set meal. It's definitely delicious. Dear boss, please let me visit East Asahikawa again!

"Sachimaru" in Asahikawa, I'm alone on the second day. I went to pick up the bread that I had reserved and left Toyooka on the second day that started from Toyooka. Next is "Sachimaru." In my notes, it says "takeout braised pork," but what kind of shop is it? I'll check properly before heading there. When I checked again on Tabelog, I found out that they are closed on the second Sunday. Oh no, I should have gone yesterday. Nevertheless, I'll try calling them. They answered! But just because they answered doesn't mean they are open. "Are you open?" "Yes, we are." Contract established! I thought it was further than I expected. The shop is on the map, but it seems to be wrong. Is it really here? I found it. It seems to be a renovated old folk house. It's kind of nice. I was wearing a mask, but there was no unpleasant smell typical of old folk houses. Takeout bags are lined up on the counter. It seems I'm not the only one here. There was a well-built older brother in a chef's outfit. The female voice could also be heard. They were both very nice. It's delicious, but it's pork belly, right? Of course, the taste is good. It's lightly seasoned, but the meat quality, well... the fat is already gone, and it's not really fatty anymore. It's not a problem for those who don't mind fat. I think the seasoning is good, but the meat quality... I didn't find it tasty. I'm sorry. I don't want to say this, but you have to try eating at the restaurant."

That delicious set meal restaurant "Wa no Mi" has moved to Asuka Town and reopened as "Gohan-ya Sachimaru" this summer. Located at 1-8-8 Higashi-Asahikawa Kita, Asahikawa City, you can find it on the map here: https://goo.gl/maps/fcg4WZaANJLG39ZcA. They are open from 11:00 to 15:00 and 17:00 to 19:00, closed on Mondays and the second Sunday of the month. They offer parking and takeout services. The restaurant has a casual and welcoming atmosphere, and they have a variety of menu options, including a special autumn bento box and a delicious pork braised dish. The food is well-prepared and flavorful, and they even provide toys and amenities for children. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I would definitely go back to try more of their dishes.
