I visited a restaurant in Nishi-Temma for lunch before a meeting with a client. I arrived before 12:00 and there were already a few customers inside. They had ramen on the menu, but since I had walked from Nakanoshima to Nishi-Temma in the middle of the day, I opted for the extra-large tsukemen without rice. It was a good meal.

Ordered item... Soy sauce ramen (rich) 780 yen Dish... The lunch comes with white rice. In these times, having rice included at this price is quite reasonable. The soup is made with chicken bones and saury flakes, giving it a rich and flavorful taste. It's been a while since I've had ramen that really impressed me. It's super delicious!

The owner of the restaurant is very energetic and polite, managing everything by himself. This time, I ordered the soy sauce kotteri ramen. The soup is made with chicken bones and a base of mackerel, giving it a rich flavor without feeling too heavy. The owner's attention to detail is evident in this ramen, which is gentle on the body and has a reduced salt content, making it so delicious that I found myself wanting to drink the soup even after finishing the noodles. Next time, I want to try the mazesoba and the salt-based ramen. Additionally, I went back the next day to try the mazesoba, opting for the large size for just 100 yen more. The pickled mustard greens topping adds a delicious twist, and the simmered pork belly is especially tasty. The owner was concerned about the portion size, but I had no problem finishing it. Next, I plan to try the salt ramen.

It was lunchtime and I finished work in Nishi-Temma. I searched for a ramen shop on Google and the top result looked delicious, so I went there! You can choose between shoyu, light, or rich flavors. I went with rich! It was only 780 yen, which is cheap! It was rich but not too heavy, and I enjoyed it! Next time, I want to try the light or tsukemen!

The first noodles of 2023 started with the reliable "Mennoya @ Nishi-Temma"! On 1/4, as it was the new year, they offered a free seasoned boiled egg! As always, the energetic voice of the owner cheers me up. You wouldn't think it's a one-man operation. The bowl arrived. I've lost count of how many times I've had this "soy sauce and rich" ramen, but the richness and noodle balance are still top-notch, making it hard to believe there are no chemical seasonings! It looks like 2023 is going to be a good year. West Temma is an area with many core shops! It was my first visit to Nishitenma Mennoya, which offers ramen that is gentle on the body with no chemical seasoning. The address of Nishitenma Mennoya is 5-13-4 Nishitenma, Kita-ku, Osaka City, a 9-minute walk from Osaka Metro "Minamimorimachi" and "Osaka Tenmangu" stations. I arrived at the restaurant before 12:00. Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Business hours: [Lunch] 11:30-14:00, [Dinner] 18:00-20:00 *Currently only open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (no light option). I arrived and was asked to disinfect both hands with alcohol at the entrance, then I was allowed to take photos and use the ticket machine. It was my first visit based on the reviews on Tabelog, but the rules were slightly different. Ramen... soy sauce, salt, miso (no dipping noodles during this period). Richness... light, rich (only one richness for miso). Options... extra noodles (2 servings, no extra noodles), seasoned egg, chashu [Lunch] Free white rice service (no seconds, extra rice available). When I asked the owner for a recommendation, he suggested "soy sauce (light)". I ordered the husband soy sauce ramen (light), extra noodles, seasoned egg, and chashu. I sat at the counter, handed the food ticket to the owner, and asked for extra rice. It seemed like the owner had prepared everything well by himself before opening. While waiting, I took photos inside the restaurant. The chairs were lined up straight, reflecting the owner's personality. The table condiments included rice seasoning, shichimi pepper, grated garlic, doubanjiang, and pepper. The owner's commitment is spelled out in the pouches on the table. After a short wait, the ramen arrived! I couldn't see the noodles much because I got the full option! The seasoned egg, green onions, and chrysanthemum greens on top of the chashu looked beautiful! Let's eat! First, the soup with a tempting oil droplet on top! The light soup is a blend of a soup made from chicken and vegetables and a fish-based soup mainly using Pacific saury, a Japanese-style double soup! It's so delicious that you can drink as much as you want! The noodles are homemade slightly flat straight noodles! They have a chewy texture and firmness, with a delicious wheat aroma! They go perfectly well with the gentle soup. The toppings include chashu, menma, white onions, seasoned egg, green onions, and chrysanthemum greens! The pork shoulder chashu brings out the umami of the meat and tastes great as it soaks up the soup. All the toppings are carefully selected and seem to make you feel healthier. I put the chashu and seasoned egg on the rice! It's nice to have extra rice with rice seasoning. If you ordered the rich or miso ramen, it seems like it would be good to add the soup to the rice. Dip the soft-boiled egg in the soup! The deliciousness of the seasoned egg adds to the gentleness of the soup! It was a complete happiness to finish the meal! I thanked the owner of Nishitenma Mennoya and left the restaurant. Husband, thank you for the meal! It was delicious! I will come again! I visited for lunch on a regular day. The shop has only a counter and was about half full. I was torn between getting the soy sauce-based thick broth ramen for 780 yen in a large size, but since the rice was free, I ordered a half portion of rice. It was written at the counter that the food is completely free of chemical seasonings. The soup had a seafood aroma. Despite the menu name "thick broth", it had a gentle flavor. The chewy straight noodles went well with it, and the rice was also delicious. The "salt-based thick broth" that the person next to me was eating also looked delicious.

I always wanted to visit this shop on Saturdays, but it was always closed when I tried. However, it was open on weekdays. There was a sign inside saying that they are closed on Saturdays for the time being. I ordered the soy sauce ramen (rich) for 780 yen. They also had soy sauce ramen and salt ramen, with options for rich and light flavors. I chose the rich soy sauce ramen without hesitation. It was delicious, but a bit salty for my taste. I think I would have preferred the light version. Nevertheless, I was satisfied and enjoyed this bowl of ramen. I am curious to try the salt ramen next time. It was delicious, thank you!

I finally had the chance to visit "Mennoya" today, which I often visit late and have missed out on before due to it being sold out. It was 12:30 today. The light soup was sold out, but I was relieved since I was looking for something rich. Due to the current situation with COVID-19, they are only open for lunch. The tsukemen is temporarily unavailable and will be back in spring. I had the soy sauce ramen, which was rich and satisfying. It seemed like they simmered the chicken bones thoroughly until the marrow, resulting in a thick and clear soup. The flavor of bonito flakes came later, adding depth without any heaviness. It was a delicious soup that warmed my body from the inside out. I could drink it all without any worries as it was free of chemical seasonings. The flat thin noodles were excellent and had a great texture. I look forward to trying the tsukemen next time. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a refreshing soy sauce ramen for the first time and was impressed by the clean interior of the restaurant. They offer two types of broth, salt and soy sauce, and I chose the soy sauce ramen today. It was light and tasty, making me want to eat it again, it's hard to describe the taste (lol). The light salt ramen is refreshing. I had it with free rice. It tastes quite mild, but you can still taste the deliciousness of the chicken and the sophistication of the soy sauce. It's a gentle flavor that I crave when I have a hangover. It comes with two slices of chashu pork, white and green onions, and plenty of toppings. The noodles are homemade but a bit too firm and could be more chewy in my opinion. Personally, I still think the Ume Shio Ramen at the Uehonmachi store is the most delicious. Thank you for the meal.

On Tuesday at 12:00, I went to "Menoya" in Minamimori-machi. I ordered the "Shoyu (light)" for 730 yen. It arrived in 5 minutes. I took a bite. Delicious. The light soy sauce soup is made with chicken, chicken bones, vegetable soup, and a fish-based soup with saury as the main ingredients. It has a refreshing and simple taste. Not heavy at all. It came with 2 slices of chashu, menma, green onions, leeks, and large trefoil leaves. This ramen is completely free of chemical seasonings. A ramen that is gentle on the body. Popular ramen shops often use a lot of chemical seasonings, so I used to have a negative impression of ramen without them, but after trying this ramen, my perception has changed. Next time, I will try the rich version. Thank you for the meal.

I have been visiting Mennoya in Osaka frequently because I think it might be the best place to eat. This was my last visit of the year. I have visited many times this year. The soup, noodles, and chashu are all excellent. And the fact that they don't use any chemical seasonings is amazing! I will definitely come back next year too! Thank you for the delicious meal.

I worked really hard at work, so as a reward, I went to Mennoya in Nishitenma. The restaurant has about 10 counter seats and there were around 5 customers when I arrived after 1 pm. They offer 4 types of ramen, including soy sauce and salt, with both light and rich options. This time, I chose the rich soy sauce ramen as a treat, with extra toppings of chashu and boiled egg. The soup had a nice seafood base flavor, and the noodles had a good texture. The chashu was delicious, and the boiled egg was flavorful. The ramen also came with plenty of spring greens and green onions. Overall, it was a great experience and I recommend this place to anyone who has the chance to visit. It was delicious, thank you for the meal!

Nansen-cho's "Mennoya" Today it's cold and rainy, so I feel like having ramen after a long time. I've been curious about this highly rated ramen shop. It has a counter with about 9 seats. There are hangers and luggage boxes available. It's about half full at 11:30 am, all male customers. ★ Rich soy sauce ramen 780 yen Free white rice during lunchtime. (No refills) When I sat at the end of the counter, they said, "Please use the ticket machine," which was embarrassing... I chose the rich soy sauce flavor, which is highly rated. It arrived in a few minutes. It looks rich, but not too heavy. It's close to a soy sauce tonkotsu flavor, with a strong taste of dried mackerel. The straight thin noodles are delicious (^-^) There was another slice of chashu hidden under the green onions. It's soft and easy to eat. The white rice for lunch is free, so I sprinkled some furikake on it for the second half. If it was a light soy sauce or salt flavor, I might have finished it all... They aim to make healthy ramen. The service was polite and it was a nice restaurant (^-^)

Despite being rich, this ramen with thick soy sauce has a refreshing taste. The spring onions are a great accent both in flavor and appearance. During lunchtime, rice is free, so it's tempting to order, but the ramen alone is satisfying. I like to add some doubanjiang for a change in taste. Thank you for the meal! ^_^

Around 2 o'clock on a regular afternoon, MASA☆彡RU, who happened to be near Minami-Morimachi, decided to visit a place he had been wanting to go for a while. Let's go for a slightly late lunch. The restaurant had only an L-shaped counter and a friendly lady welcoming customers. The system was to buy food tickets first. The menu had soy sauce and salt ramen, as well as soy sauce tsukemen. I chose the soy sauce ramen (light) for 730 yen without hesitation. The lady guided me to the counter where I could watch the process of making ramen. The ramen arrived in about 5 minutes, with a brown soup with oil floating on top, char siu pork, white and green onions, menma, and komatsuna. The soup was light but had a good soy sauce flavor followed by the umami of chicken and seafood. The straight homemade noodles were firm with a good texture. The toppings were generous, especially the thick slices of pork shoulder char siu. The combination of flavors and textures elevated the ramen. Overall, the balance of all elements was impressive, especially considering the price. I recommend this place, "Nishitenma Mennoya," in Nishi-Temma or Minami-Morimachi. Next time, I want to try the salt tsukemen.

I had never been able to visit this restaurant near my company, even though it was changed to daytime operation only due to the coronavirus pandemic. Finally, I was able to go. It seems that the main store is in Uehommachi and this place is like a sister store. According to the reviews on Tabelog, the rich soy sauce ramen is recommended, so I bought a ticket with an extra seasoned egg. The owner runs the shop alone. Despite being called "rich," the soup is not greasy but rather a rich broth made from fish. It was delicious. The tsukemen is available until October, and during the winter, they only serve ramen. Lunch service includes a free bowl of rice (although that might be too much for girls ^-^;A). It was so tasty that I would like to try the tsukemen or salt ramen next time.

Today (8/23), I visited this restaurant located a decent walk from Osaka Metro Minamimorimachi Station. I purchased a ticket for "Soy Sauce Ramen Rich (780 yen)" at the ticket machine, and sat at the counter seat. Shortly after, the ramen bowl arrived, with a miso ramen-like colored soup topped with bamboo shoots, Chinese cabbage, chopped green onions, and leeks, with a sprinkle of shichimi spice. When I pulled out the noodles and chashu pork from the soup, I found that the noodles were medium-thin straight noodles, and the chashu pork was likely pork shoulder. First, I tried the soup, which had a rich blend of chicken and seafood broth that was flavorful yet refreshing. The noodles were cooked slightly firm, giving a nice chewy texture. The chashu pork was tender and well-seasoned, and the addition of Chinese cabbage as a topping was a pleasant surprise. I quickly finished the meal, realizing that despite usually opting for lighter ramen lately, I could easily devour a hearty bowl like this one. That sums up today's experience.
