I made a phone reservation for the all-you-can-eat and drink option for 5000 yen, but I heard that a lot of food comes out at once, so I decided not to go for it. Instead, I was recommended the 6000 yen option with a good amount of high-quality meat and drinks included. First, I had a platter of red meat with a lot of marbling, including 8 different cuts. They were all juicy and delicious, with each cut having its own unique flavor. The meat had a good chew to it, enhancing the taste even more. It came with foam soy sauce, regular soy sauce, wasabi, and chopped wasabi on the side. Next, I had beef tongue, fatty kalbi, pork hormones, a mix of hormones, pork, and vegetables. Lastly, I tried the beef stew, which was also very tasty. It was a bit heavy as a finish, but still delicious. The salt and pepper were also very good. Personally, I would prefer to have more meat served at the beginning. Having all the hormones at the end can be tiring on the jaw. I'm still curious about the 5000 yen course. As a result, I ended up getting a lot of chicken appetizers and got full quickly. But it was very delicious, so I was very satisfied. I couldn't eat as much of the main Sagari and wagyu as I expected, but it lightened the burden on my companion (who had eaten my portion of the hormone appetizer last time and got full quickly), so my reservation and consultation strategy was a success for me. This course at Kimoto, which can only be enjoyed by making a reservation for two or more people by the day before, offers high-quality and delicious meats (including wagyu) at a good cost performance for those who can eat without being picky. The system where you can't order additional items until you finish the meat that is always served as an appetizer may be tough for people like me who can't eat hormone, but I think they will accommodate you if you consult with them when making a phone reservation like I did. When dining at a high-priced restaurant like Kimoto, I'm afraid of going over budget with a la carte orders, so I reserved the all-you-can-eat and drink course, but I'm also interested in Kimoto's a la carte menu items like stew and curry, so I'm thinking of going to try them without the all-you-can-eat reservation next time. In this price range for all-you-can-eat yakiniku, I can confidently say that the meat at Kimoto's is the best quality and most delicious in Kitami. Just be careful if you have preferences or can't eat certain cuts of meat, as the appetizer is mandatory. If you can't eat hormone meat or have a small appetite, it might be better to order a la carte instead of the all-you-can-eat course.
