I had been slacking off on taking notes, but La Piñata, where I have been trying to visit every month as much as possible except for cancellations due to the COVID-19 closure request, is a place that always leaves me and my companion fully satisfied and full. We leave the food and wine selection up to the restaurant, and the quality and quantity of the dishes we receive for a total of 17,000 to 19,000 yen is unbelievable for the incredibly reasonable price. The bottle of wine is always chosen with our budget in mind, usually costing less than 7,000 yen per bottle. Most of the time it's in the 5,000 yen range, which we are truly grateful for. In late July, we enjoyed 5 dishes, pasta, and focaccia. The summer-themed menu included fresh sardines, striped shrimp, bluefin tuna, scallops, and horse mackerel. They skillfully incorporated my favorite barley salad and almond sauce. The pasta was handmade peach pasta, which we savored with La Piñata's delicious tomato sauce and perfectly cooked pasta. The white wine bottle cost 6,850 yen, a bit higher than usual for us, but it was a perfect match and left us very satisfied. We also added a glass of red wine. Each dish showed the meticulous and sincere preparation that La Piñata is known for. It's a restaurant we want to continue visiting for its exceptional quality.

A local cuisine restaurant in Puglia, Italy. Puglia is located in the "heel" part of the boot-shaped Italy and is known for its top olive oil, tomato, and grape production, as well as a preference for seafood. The restaurant has a cute cream-colored wall with a yellow roof. We were seated at a counter where we could see the chefs preparing the dishes. - Puglia Burrata: Despite not being a fan of Burrata because of the overflowing cream, the owner recommended it and it was delicious. The Burrata here is imported directly, ensuring freshness and great taste. It was served with cheese, prosciutto, and mini figs. The cheese was creamy with a fresh milk taste, the prosciutto was tender, and the figs were sweet and intense. - Octopus and Chickpea Stew: The octopus was surprisingly soft and flavorful, paired with chickpeas and vegetables in a simple yet impactful dish. - Bread: The bread was soft and fluffy, perfect for soaking up olive oil or the octopus stew broth. - Hokkaido Cod Milt and Gorgonzola Cheese Gratin: A creamy and smooth dish with a delicious combination of cod milt and Gorgonzola cheese, perfect with red wine. - Kagoshima Sakura Pork Shoulder Loin: Slow-cooked pork with a balanced meat and fat ratio, served with sweet vegetables. - Puglia-style Panna Cotta with Caramel Sauce: A smooth and refreshing dessert with a hint of bitterness from the caramel sauce and a delicious persimmon on the side. The wine selection was excellent, with an orange wine and a light red wine that paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere was welcoming, and it was clear that the restaurant had a loyal following. Overall, a fantastic experience with delicious food and wine.

I tried the A lunch set for the first time at this restaurant. First, I had the appetizer platter. It was filled with lots of vegetables, and I tried raw eggplant in a salad for the first time. It was juicy and delicious! Then there was potato salad, boiled egg, chicken ham... Oh, it seems like a protein-centered appetizer! I appreciate that they are conscious about it. The chicken ham was so tender and tasty...!! The pasta had squid, eggplant, and tomato... Sorry, I didn't check the menu before entering, so I'm not sure. It was delicious cooked al dente. However, as a lover of garlic, I wish it had a stronger garlic flavor...!! I understand that it may not be possible for a lunch in an office district, but it would have been even better with more garlic. Next time, I'll try their dinner menu...

Everything was delicious and amazing! The staff kindly explained the menu options and recommended some dishes, which turned out to be all delicious and made me so happy♪ The wine they recommended to go with the meal was also delicious, and I ended up drinking too much. I definitely want to go back again soon!♡

The varied and satisfying appetizers and pasta main dishes continue to impress. Despite the current circumstances, the A lunch set is now priced at 1,200 yen. Still, it remains a highly satisfying meal. This restaurant is definitely recommended without a doubt.

I arrived around 11:40 for lunch without a reservation. The first floor was full, so I sat on the second floor where it was half empty. I ordered lunch, which came with a nice appetizer and unlimited bread refills. The staff seemed busy and hard to flag down, but I was satisfied and full.

This restaurant, celebrating its 10th anniversary, is open and I visited during dinner time. The great thing about this place is that you can enjoy a variety of dishes a la carte. The pasta, in particular, is said to be even more delicious than in Italy by locals. You can also enjoy a range of wines from classical to natural wines. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I went to "La Pinata" after a long time. The lunch here is really satisfying, so I personally call it the "strongest lunch in Sakaisuji Hommachi". The basic lunch menu is A Pranzo (A lunch) for 1,200 yen, which includes Italian appetizers, pasta, and bread. At first glance, it may seem like a common combination, but what makes it the best? Just take a look at the image. The variety and volume of the "Italian appetizer" that comes first. 5 or rather 6 types. Regardless, it is a luxurious appetizer that everyone, young and old, can appreciate. The homemade bread, served with olive oil, is all-you-can-eat. And the main pasta dish. On this day, it was "Puglia-style spaghetti with various meats ragout and mushroom tomato sauce topped with leeks", and you could feel the attention to detail and of course, it was incredibly delicious. This small, casual Italian restaurant has a homely atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed. "La Pinata" is definitely a recommended Italian restaurant in the Sakaisuji Hommachi - Hommachi area, so I highly recommend everyone to try it out.

PINNACLE

On a regular day at 12 o'clock, customers kept coming in one after another. There are two course options, each with a one-hour stay time request. I understand the importance of turnover, especially in a business district, but if I order the B course with alcohol, I would like to stay a little longer. I couldn't find a spoon for the small soup that came with the appetizer, and since the staff seemed busy, I just drank it from the cup. I was happy with the variety of appetizers. The chicken ham was soft, juicy, and very delicious. The pasta was an oil pasta with whitebait. It had a strong flavor and a sufficient amount, making it a delicious pasta. The main dish was roasted pork. The surface was crispy, and although it was a bit dry, it had a generous portion that could be shared by two people. The feeling of eating quickly and leaving was undeniable, but the taste was delicious.

I visited the sister restaurant of La Piñata before, and it was so delicious that my wife and I were talking about visiting La Piñata someday. Our wish came true and we visited this time. We ordered: Burrata with cream, Carpaccio of Kumamoto horse meat with egg yolk sauce and truffle flavor, Ajo (name unknown), Graniano Rigatoni with meat ragù in Vongole style, and Pork-wrapped Bonbetee skewers. The waiter suggested that 4 dishes would be enough to make us full, but being a big eater, I ordered 5 dishes. As a result, I was extremely full... (-。-;) Indeed, if you order meat and pasta, 4 dishes are enough. The Burrata was delicious as always. The salad had a slight bitterness, but the texture and flavor of the cheese and prosciutto were excellent. The Rigatoni was voluminous and tasty, and the skewers had cheese inside the meat, filling up my stomach more than expected. And the highlight was the horse meat Carpaccio. It had a subtle truffle aroma and paired well with the horse meat, and I finished it in no time. It was as satisfying as I had hoped. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

with my wife. I made a reservation over the phone the day before and arrived 10 minutes early to secure a prime table. It may not have been necessary to make a reservation for Friday lunch. (Myself) Pranzo B: Assorted appetizers. Carrot soup, baked sweet potato, potato salad, fried bread, sliced baguette with some spread, boiled egg, shredded cabbage. It was a carb-heavy appetizer without a single slice of ham. Seabream and green onion spaghetti with olive tomato sauce. My excitement waned with the seabream - is this really a Puglia dish? I wish they had used orecchiette for the lunch menu. Spanish chestnut pork shoulder roast. The pork was perfectly roasted on the outside, the salsaverde added a nice touch of flavor, and the stewed beans underneath were simple and delicious. Glass of white wine. The portion was small. Glass of red wine. It was full-bodied and to my liking, but why serve a Tuscan wine here? (Wife) Pranzo A totalled ¥6,040. It seems that to truly experience Puglian cuisine, one would need to order from the dinner or a la carte menu. However, being told at the time of reservation that "seating is limited to 1 hour" does not make me inclined to order a la carte.

I made a reservation online about 5 days ago and visited on Saturday night. It was a bit farther from the station than I expected, so I arrived a little late. When I sat down, the staff kindly explained the menu and recommended appropriate portions. I forgot to take a photo, but the prosciutto, cheese, and freshly baked bread were delicious. The wine was also very good.

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while. They were very accommodating even with a last-minute reservation, and I am grateful for that. The atmosphere is casual and homey, yet the flavors are authentic and all the dishes were delicious. The prices for the food are not too high, but it may vary depending on which wine you choose. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. We ended up opening a few bottles of wine this time, so the price did go up a bit. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

I went to La Piñata on Saturday. This place is said to have a hundred stores. We just made it in before the line formed. I had the A lunch for 1,200 yen. You can get free bread refills, and the spaghetti with tomato sauce and mushrooms was delicious. The appetizer was quite filling. I wish they had chopsticks though. The tomato sauce spaghetti was really tasty. Thank you for the meal.

I used it for lunch. The total bill for two people, including drinks, was about 5000 yen. There are first and second floors, and this time we used the counter on the first floor. It was nice to see the staff cooking. The bread is all-you-can-eat, but they often forget to bring it unless you remind them multiple times, which was disappointing.

It's really delicious! Everything is delicious! I was a bit worried after reading Google reviews, but we didn't find anything to be concerned about during our visit. The only thing is that the staff can be a bit pushy in recommending dishes, but we would prefer to enjoy our meal at our own pace.笑

I used it for a weekday lunch. Located about a 5-minute walk from Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station on the subway, this popular restaurant is located on the 1st floor of the Tokiwa Building, "Tabelog Italian WEST 2021". It specializes in the local cuisine of southern Italy, specifically from the region of Puglia. The restaurant opened in April 2013 and has a total of 24 seats in a small shop. The kitchen was managed by 2 staff members, while 2 staff members handled customer service. The order I placed this time was the "Lunch A-pranzo 1200 yen". Here is the content and evaluation: [◎, 〇, △] Italian appetizer assortment ◎, Cold potage 〇, Rolled omelet ◎, Potato salad ◎, Cabbage ◎, Pork ◎, Sweet potato ◎, Fried bread 〇, Bread 〇, Focaccia ◎, Pasta ◎. The BGM was FM radio! The customers were office ladies and business people. The restaurant was about 90% full, with a female ratio of about 70%. The Tabelog rating at the time of the visit was 3.63. The Italian atmosphere was impressive. It was a small Italian restaurant that was popular among office ladies in the bustling business district. Thank you for the meal!

I am looking for a place where I can enjoy a rich cheesecake and coffee while relaxing in the shop. Here is my evaluation from that perspective. [Cheesecake] ■Basque Cheesecake Richness: ★★★☆☆ Aftertaste: ★★★★☆ (I added it for an extra 300 yen with my lunch, thinking it would be just a small portion, but it turned out to be a moist and rich cheesecake. I was happy to have this option for an additional 300 yen with my lunch.) [Other than Cheesecake] Ambiance: ★★★★☆ Price: ★★★★☆ (I visited during a break from work, so I didn't have time to enjoy a coffee. I will definitely come back next time to savor the cheesecake leisurely. The pasta was great, and the appetizers like fried bread and focaccia were delicious. The restaurant has a bright and lively atmosphere.) -Order- ・Lunch A 1200 yen ・Cheesecake +300 yen

Enjoy authentic cuisine from Puglia, Southern Italy at this restaurant in Osaka! Name: Lapignata Nearest Station: 6-minute walk from Shinsaibashi or Honmachi on the Sakaisuji Line Average Price: 26,000 yen for 3 people for dinner a la carte Tabelog Rating: 3.63⭐️ (100 Best Restaurants 2021) Puglia cuisine focuses on bringing out the natural flavors of ingredients, with ingredients imported directly from Italy. The restaurant has two floors, and we were seated on the second floor. We ordered Italian beer and the staff recommended various dishes. We tried a variety of dishes, but the absolute must-try items are the Puglia-produced burrata cheese wrapped in cream and the Puglia-style assorted raw seafood crudo carpaccio. Highly recommended! We were very satisfied with both the food and the service.

On a regular weekday around 11:30, the Italian restaurant was full and there was a short wait. The restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from Sakaisuji-Honmachi subway station, in a two-story building accessible only by stairs. The exterior and interior have a retro Italian vibe. The first floor has a counter and table seating, while the second floor has additional table seating. The tables are a bit narrow but the chairs are comfortable. For weekday lunch, there are only two options available, with the option to add dessert or a drink. A Lunch - 1200 yen (appetizer, pasta, bread) - Appetizer: Taste 3.5, Portion 3.8, Visual 3.2. Overall delicious with generous portions. Each dish is well-prepared, especially enjoyed the pate spread on the bread. The cold soup was a bit disappointing as I was hoping for something warm in the winter. - Pasta: Taste 3.5, Portion 3.8, Visual 3.2. Delicious with a perfect level of saltiness. Plenty of ingredients, and the gentle acidity of the tomatoes was nice. - Bread: Served with olive oil. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.
