Nighttime is always crowded. I gave up a few times, but after sauna, I really wanted to eat it, so I waited for 40 minutes. I think Yamakoya tastes the same no matter where you eat it, but it tastes especially delicious after sauna. I'm always happy to get free gyoza and other items with the LINE coupon. I will definitely line up again after sauna. 🏋️♀️

I tried the limited-time burnt soy sauce ramen. The soup is delicious with a smooth soy sauce and burnt oil aroma from the first bite. It has a different umami flavor with fried onions and two types of green onions. The plenty of bean sprouts and thick noodles are also delicious. The chashu is as good as always, and adding extra garlic makes it even more flavorful.

2023♡♡67th bowl, 8/3 After working a night shift, I hesitated between going to Taihei and coming here for breakfast ramen since I hadn't had it yet. The interior of the restaurant is clean. There are a decent number of customers. It's nice that you can eat whatever you want at any time, not limited to breakfast ramen in the morning (*^^*) Just a little bit of umeboshi (laughs). I think Ebetsu is the most generous with their toppings. Thank you for the meal ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

I have been to other stores before, but this was my first time here. I always only order soy sauce ramen, and the taste was consistently delicious, making me want to eat it regularly. The thick noodles like udon and the rich tonkotsu soy sauce flavor are addictive. I felt that the taste was a bit lighter compared to other Yamagoya stores, but it might be because I was tired or just my imagination. The staff seemed to be working hard, and the store was clean and welcoming. I plan to visit regularly.

I ordered the Shoyu Ramen with extra Chashu at Ramen Yamaokaya Shindo. I used the special coupon for LINE users, which gave me 6 extra Chashu pieces. It was very delicious. I will definitely visit again.

Around midnight, I started feeling hungry so I decided to go eat some ramen, and ended up going to Yamagoya for the first time in a few years. I ordered the Premium Salt Tonkotsu Ramen for 910 yen. When I entered the shop, there was a pretty unique smell. I love tonkotsu ramen so much that I would even go to Fukuoka to eat it, but I was a bit disappointed with this one. I found the smell a bit off-putting. My wife had the Spicy Miso Ramen, and it was incredibly rich in flavor. If I had eaten the Spicy Miso Ramen, I would have given it one star. However, the restaurant was packed with customers.

Ramen Yamaoka-ya Shinmichi branch. I ordered soy sauce ramen at the ticket vending machine and also got the LINE collaboration chashu. It has a normal level of flavor and richness, but it's addictively delicious. I really enjoyed it and will definitely visit again.

I have probably been to this restaurant about 50 times, this time at the Shindo Higashi branch. The soy sauce ramen costs 690 yen (tax included), which is really cheap for this day and age, isn't it? I always order the soy sauce ramen with firm noodles. When I'm really hungry, I go for the medium size with extra oil, or add some seaweed. It's already cheap, and there are also service coupons available, so it feels like a great deal. This ramen shop is known for its strong smell and varying preferences, but I personally like it.

East District Shinmichi Higashi Area. I am posting this because there may be some demand. The limited products from Yamaoka family are the normal soy sauce and special miso. The new products have surpassed the previous ones, so I will try the limited products without high expectations. The soy sauce and special miso are delicious, so it may be difficult to surpass them, but I hope they do their best! I ordered the following: "Wabushi Tonkotsu Shoyu Tsukemen Chumori (1060 yen)" and "Korochaa [Soup]". The amount of dipping sauce in the soup was not too much, so reducing it and lowering the price would be appreciated. Usually, limited items have a strong flavor, but this one is strong, but not too overpowering. The soup has a good bonito flavor. Even when I added the extra soup to the maximum, it was a bit strong, but since they provide extra soup with the tsukemen, it's great for adjusting it yourself. The noodles are thin for tsukemen. They are made with whole wheat flour, but they were soft. I think it would be better to order them firm. Today's Korochaa was delicious. The way the green onions were cut and placed was sloppy, and the taste was not good. In the case of Yamaoka family, I have come to expect this, so I can overlook it (laughs). The pressed spinach goes well with it. Overall, the limited items are all expensive, but the taste is... I understand they may want to increase the unit price to increase profit margins, but let's try a little harder! Thank you for the meal!

28th bowl of ramen in 2023! A little earlier than usual this evening (lol). I ended up trying the super spicy miso ramen again - oops! Also got the gyoza set! The gyoza was on the sweeter side with a slightly burnt flavor, which I actually enjoyed! Even though it was empty when I arrived, the customers quickly started flowing in, surprising me. The kitchen was very clean! I think the manager was there? The floor staff did a great job managing everything. Overall, it feels like a good restaurant. And they accept PayPay too - always reliable! I'll definitely be back again (*^^*) Thanks for the meal! \(^o^)/

Ramen Yamaokaya Shinmichi branch. It's always crowded during lunchtime. The popular shop lives up to its reputation. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen with Char Siu (coupon) from the ticket vending machine. Yamaokaya's ramen has a rich and addictive flavor that I sometimes crave. It was very delicious. I will definitely visit again.

Long time no see, Yamagoya. Had the classic negi-miso ramen. Soy sauce ramen for 810 yen, strong flavor. The noodles were satisfyingly chewy. Dad had the tsukemen with plenty of noodles for 790 yen, a huge portion. By the way, Yamagoya isn't actually a tonkotsu ramen place.

I went to Ramen Yamaoka-ya Shinmichi branch! This time, I decided to try a different menu than usual, the Miso Ramen for 690 yen. This is probably my third time trying miso ramen... I ordered everything normal as usual. The soup wasn't piping hot, but it wasn't lukewarm either, which is rare for Yamaoka-ya. The miso flavor was clear and you could also taste a hint of sesame oil. The ramen had the usual deliciousness and stability that I always find impressive. The seaweed topping still varies in how it's placed... whether standing up or laid down, I still don't know which is the right way, haha. One notable thing here is the wonderful staff's energetic greetings, which alone make the experience pleasant. Thank you for the meal!

Long time no see, everyone! How are you doing? Are you still going out to eat? I have been eating out, but I haven't been posting. I had Asa Ramen at Yamaokaya with a free gyoza service using a LINE coupon. I love the beautiful interior and the staff here. The long-awaited Asa Ramen was delicious enough to warm my body and soul!

Today, I had accumulated 10 service vouchers so I decided to use them! I ordered regular soy sauce ramen and it came out just as expected. It had been a few years since I last added chili bean paste and garlic from the table to my ramen, so I decided to try it again. The soup was delicious as it is, so I think it's better without them. The taste was consistently good as always today. Thank you for the meal! :)

The Yamagoka family's restaurant in the middle of the night. The Yamagoka family always end up here when they're drunk. Today, they weren't drunk, and they weren't even hungry, so they tried the Negi-don for the first time. It was really delicious with the sesame oil. It's great that they are open 24 hours!

Morning ramen after about 2 months. I ordered the morning ramen for 490 yen and got a free extra chashu with a LINE coupon. Great cost performance with the coupon. The taste is a salt tonkotsu broth with thin noodles, and you can also get a refill of noodles. The soy sauce or special miso flavors are tastier, but this is just right for the morning. Thank you for the meal.

During my first visit to "Okayama-ya" in May 2022, I mostly ate their "morning ramen," which comes with the familiar seasoned egg and a topping of green onions. This time, I doubled up on the green onions. I usually prefer the long green onions, known as "condiment onions" at Okayama-ya, but I also enjoy them in soba, cold tofu, miso soup, and other dishes. When I was a child, small green onions were not very common in Hokkaido, so I always associated green onions with the longer variety. However, chopped green onions in ramen are a different story - they can be added in large quantities without becoming overpowering. I do like green onions, but I find that adding a lot of chopped long green onions can sometimes make the dish too pungent. The morning ramen at Okayama-ya is a special menu item only available between 5-11 am, and it's a Kyushu-style ramen with thin noodles, unlike their regular thick noodles. Despite not being a fan of their thick noodles, I visit Okayama-ya specifically for this morning ramen. The Okayama-ya Shindo branch is located along Sapporo Shindo, near the southern side of Okadama Airport. I visited this branch for breakfast when birdwatching in Ibarato and Ishikari. While it's a bit inconvenient to access from the inner loop of Shindo, the branch has a decent amount of parking space for its size. ============================== ◇ 730 yen (Morning Ramen 490 yen / Seasoned Egg 120 yen / Green Onions 60 yen x 2)

I was hungry and craving ramen, so I decided to go to Yamagoya, which was one of the few ramen shops open at 10 AM. However, my empty stomach may not have been ready for it, as I experienced stomach pain afterwards. The ramen was delicious though.
