For lunch today, I visited Ramen Center Tomio in Terada-cho. I had the summer limited menu item, "Ibuki Irigo's Authentic Cold Noodles," along with some delicious meat shumai. This was my third time trying the Ibuki Irigo's Authentic Cold Noodles this summer. The noodles are from the birthplace of Morioka cold noodles in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture, with a high resilience and elasticity. The soup is a cold anchovy broth made with plenty of Ibuki Irigo. It is served with sliced boiled eggs, mini tomato pickles, two slices of chashu, sweet vinegar-pickled kataguchi iwashi, finely chopped shark fin menma, kaiware, and a generous amount of homemade rich sauce made with Ibuki Irigo. The noodles and soup were delicious, and the meat shumai was also fantastic. The Ibuki Irigo's Authentic Cold Noodles is no longer available this year, so I'll have to wait until next year to enjoy it again.

Yuzu-flavored rich dried fish Chinese noodles ¥950 - After a business dinner. I couldn't eat much, so I went to Tomio-san for their consistently delicious noodles, thank you as always. I'm glad there's a place like this near the nearest station. When it's too rich, it's hard to taste the yuzu, so for the yuzu condiment, I recommend the normal option.

I visited Ramen Center Tomio in Teradacho, Osaka. This place is known for its dried fish broth ramen. There were dried fish displayed in front of the shop, and I could tell they must be expensive. The shop has only counter seats, and you buy meal tickets. I ordered the rich dried fish ramen and regular dried fish ramen. I also tried the popular meat dumplings, which were big and flavorful. The rich dried fish ramen had a strong dried fish flavor, which may be challenging for those who are not used to it. The regular dried fish ramen had a light taste, and the large chashu pork slices added value to the dish. It was a delicious meal!

Spicy Boiled Dried Sardine Zaru (Seafood + Soy Sauce 950 yen) ★★★★ The soup is a soy sauce flavored fish-based broth. The noodles are slightly wavy thick straight noodles. The toppings include shoulder loin chashu, chopped onions, thinly sliced menma, narutomaki, and nori. The broth is made from dried sardines, mackerel flakes, soy sauce, dried shiitake mushrooms, hidaka kelp, pork back bones, and chicken bones, with a thick texture and a hint of chili oil. It has a strong punch with the spiciness of red pepper, sansho pepper, and chili oil, followed by a subtle sweetness and acidity from the broth. The noodles are from Tsurumi Seimenjo, with a chewy texture that pairs well with the soup. The chashu is small and rectangular, with a good meaty texture and delicious flavor. Enjoy the change in taste with black pepper, dried sardine vinegar, and red pepper provided on the side. (Recommended with soup) As of August 28, 2023, Ramen Center Tomio offers a variety of menu items, including Boiled Dried Sardine Ramen for 800 yen, Rich Boiled Dried Sardine Ramen for 850 yen, Boiled Dried Sardine Zaru for 850 yen, Spicy Boiled Dried Sardine Zaru for 950 yen, Natto Zaru for 950 yen, Boiled Dried Sardine Mazesoba for 800 yen, Tomio for an additional 200 yen, Fukahire Menma for an additional 150 yen, Ajitama for an additional 100 yen, Yuzu condiment for an additional 100 yen, Chashu for an additional 350 yen, Large serving for an additional 100 yen, Extra noodles 1 serving for an additional 150 yen, Half serving for an additional 100 yen, Special large serving for Zaru for an additional 200 yen.

I visited for lunch. I had originally planned to go to another ramen shop in Shin-Fukae, but they were closed. Feeling a bit disappointed, I ended up coming here. I wasn't really in the mood for cold noodles, but decided to give it a try anyway. And I'm glad I did because it was delicious! The cold noodles were not what I expected - instead of a sour sauce, it had a light soup with a refreshing taste and ice to keep it cool. The noodles were different too, with a springy texture that paired well with the soup. The soft char siu slices were a nice touch, and the rich bonito sauce on the side added a depth of flavor. I also enjoyed the sweet and sour marinated anchovies at the end. Overall, it was a great meal and I finished it in no time. This cold noodle dish is perfect for hot summer days or even when you're feeling a bit hungover. I would definitely come back to try it again. The fact that they are open all day is also a plus.

Cloudy and humid Sunday, continuing from yesterday, I took the mini train enthusiast journey from a little after 9 o'clock. Today, I got off at Teradamachi Station. Let's have lunch in the charming Teradamachi. There was no line, probably because it was an odd time. I used the ticket machine and debated between soy sauce ramen and cold ramen since it's hot. I decided on the Cold Ramen with Sardines for 1100 yen, with a large portion for an extra 100 yen. The chef and his assistant worked together. When it arrived, I could see it was definitely cold ramen, with black streaks probably from simmered sardines. The mini tomatoes were lightly simmered to enhance the flavor. The noodles were similar to those in Korean cold noodles. It was enjoyable. Next time, I'll try the soy sauce ramen. Thank you for the meal!

I had the rich simmered dried ramen with a sharp soy sauce flavor, which was excellent. The noodles were firm and the chashu topping was thick and generous. I also want to try the regular ramen with a Neo-Chinese-style broth. Highly recommended!

At this restaurant, you can enjoy delicious dried fish ramen. The soup is rich and flavorful, and the noodles are thick, providing a satisfying experience. The seasoned boiled egg topping is especially tasty and very satisfying. The prices are reasonable, making it easy to visit without breaking the bank.

Dried fish ramen with chashu rice and meat shumai. This is dangerously delicious. The soup is knockout in just one sip. The quality is top-notch. The soup is easy to drink without any fishy smell. The finely chopped onions did a great job in enhancing the flavor. The bamboo shoots here are plentiful and add a great texture when eaten together with the noodles. Noodles, bamboo shoots, soup, onions - all gone in no time. It's amazing. The chashu rice is also very well done, goes perfectly with the dried fish soup. The meat shumai is quite meaty in taste but also very delicious. I'm full and satisfied. I was truly impressed after a long time. And the staff's service, their cheerful greetings are pleasant. They say "take care" to every customer when they leave. It's a nice gesture. This restaurant is truly wonderful. Thank you for the meal.

A ramen shop in Terada-cho, known for its intense competition in ramen, with a focus on dried fish broth. The interior of the shop has a counter with 13 seats. During my first visit after 8 pm on a weekday, there were about 2 groups of customers already inside and 3 more customers came in after me. I ordered Tomio Dried Fish Chinese Noodles for 1000 yen, 2 pieces of meat shumai for 200 yen, and Chashu rice for 350 yen at the ticket machine near the entrance. The soup of the dried fish Chinese noodles is mainly made from dried fish and soy sauce base, packed with the umami flavor of dried fish, which blends wonderfully with soy sauce. The noodles are medium thick curly noodles, and the toppings include chashu, menma, naruto, seaweed, and chopped onions. The meat shumai is filled with minced meat and can be adjusted with vinegar and sauce on the table. The Chashu rice bowl also had plenty of rolled chashu and was delicious.

I visited Tomio in Terada-cho because the season for cold noodles has arrived. I generally like cold noodles, but the cold noodles here are exceptionally delicious. The noodles are thin, so even with a large serving, they are easy to eat. The mini tomato pickles refresh the mouth and stimulate the appetite. I am likely to visit a few more times this summer. Thank you for the meal.

For today's second lunch, I had a rich anchovy ramen at Ramen Center Tomio in front of JR Teradacho Station. I love thick broth, so it would be even better if I could choose an even richer option. Ramen Center Tomio, 2-1-27 Nishino, Ikuno-ku, Osaka City, Osaka.

When I stopped by Terada-cho, this popular restaurant seemed worth a visit so I dropped in. I parked under the overpass about a 5-minute walk away. The boiled sardine ramen was delicious, with no fishy smell, and the onions were finely sliced and delicately prepared. The chashu bowl was also meticulously prepared and tasted great. The famous shumai was thick and juicy, bursting with flavor. While it's a bit pricey, I recommend getting the set menu.

- Thick simmered dried sardine ramen, large serving for 950 yen (850 yen + 100 yen) - Located about a 2-minute walk from Teradacho Station on the JR Osaka Loop Line, this popular ramen shop offers a rich dried sardine soy sauce soup base. - The noodles are slightly thick, flat wavy noodles. - Toppings include a large slice of chashu pork, handmade menma (bamboo shoots), finely chopped green onions, narutomaki (fish cake), and roasted seaweed. - The shop has only a 12-seat L-shaped counter. - I visited this place for the first time after a long time in Teradacho. The soup was outstanding! It's not too overpowering but has a strong dried sardine flavor that is delicious. The finely chopped green onions also add a nice touch! I was also surprised by the handmade menma. Is this really menma? The texture is surprising (similar to enoki mushrooms) and it tastes great even when eaten with the noodles. I've never had anything like this before. The shumai (steamed dumplings) looked delicious, so I'll definitely try it as a set next time. Thank you for the meal!

I had a large serving (free) of mixed dried noodle and 2 meat shumai. At first glance, it has a simple appearance, but there are sauce and ingredients at the bottom. When mixed well, the scent of dried fish rises up, and the noodles are dyed in the cement-colored sauce. The sauce is rich, but not too bitter or salty, and it was incredibly delicious when mixed with the chewy noodles. I enjoyed it without getting tired of it by changing the taste with table condiments until the end of the meal, and I was full with the large serving. The meat shumai was also juicy and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Thick simmered dried fish ramen for 850 yen. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from a strong bitter dried fish ramen, but it turned out to be delicious with its rich flavor and curly noodles. It didn't have much of the bitter taste of dried fish, which was a pleasant surprise. Also, the customer service was excellent! I definitely want to go back.

A recommended restaurant in Kansai that offers a rare dried fish ramen. Despite its cement-like color, the taste is very approachable, and first-time eaters may be pleasantly surprised. The broth has a delicious flavor. The hot soup is satisfying. The handmade bamboo shoots are addictively delicious!

I got delayed at work and felt like having some dried fish ramen on my way home, so I made a little detour. This time, I went to Ramen Center Tomio near Teradacho Station. It was located a short walk southeast from Teradacho Station along National Route 25. Based on my research, the rich dried fish ramen was highly recommended, so I ordered that. What arrived was an incredibly rich dried fish soup ramen. It's been a while since I've seen dried fish ramen this rich. The noodles were medium-thick flat curly noodles that went well with the dried fish soup. Among the toppings, the shark fin bamboo shoots were particularly impressive. They somehow reminded me of enoki mushrooms. The chashu was also large and thick, providing a satisfying bite. Since it was dinner time, I also ordered a set menu. I had meat shumai and rice with raw egg. The meat shumai was indeed filled with plenty of meat and was very delicious. After finishing the noodles and having some leftover dried fish soup, I ordered an additional half portion of dried fish egg. When I tried it with the dried fish vinegar available at the seasoning station, it became a different yet delicious taste. I was very satisfied to be able to eat dried fish ramen that exceeded my expectations. Next time, I'd like to try the dried fish ramen instead.

Natto Zaru (Seafood + Soy Sauce) 950 yen ★★★★ The soup is a fish-based soy sauce flavor. The noodles are slightly wavy thick straight noodles. The ingredients include pork shoulder chashu, chopped onions, sliced menma, naruto, seaweed, beaten egg, and natto. The soup is made from dried sardines, mackerel flakes, soy sauce, dried shiitake mushrooms, Hidaka kelp, pork back bones, and chicken bones, with a thick texture and a hint of natto flavor as an accent. It has a sweet taste with a rounded soy sauce base, and a rich umami flavor from the chicken and pork bones with a strong dried sardine taste. The noodles are from Tsurumi Seimenjo, with a chewy texture and the stickiness of natto, making them slurp-worthy. The chashu is small and rectangular, with a good meaty texture and delicious flavor. Black pepper, dried fish vinegar, and ichimi pepper are provided for changing the flavor. (Recommended for the soup) January 27, 2023 Ramen Center Tomio.

※This is a post from a blog♪ Blog URL: https://sibumi.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-6299.html After half a year, I decided to go back to "Ramen Center Tomio" to try their classic "Shiogama Chuka Soba" along with the "Ajitama Plus" option. The set also included delicious meat shumai that arrived later♪ I visited on January 21st near Teradacho Station. Here is the lineup: Shiogama Chuka Soba Ajitama Plus (if ordered separately, it costs 900 yen) Set A: White Rice Set B: 2 pieces of meat shumai All of this for 1,150 yen The noodles were thick and wavy, with a strong but mild shiogama flavor. The Chashu pork slices were substantial and satisfying. The bowl also included chopped green onions, seaweed, naruto, and finely sliced "Fukahire Menma." On top of white rice, there was shiogama furikake, chuka soba toppings, and a topping of Hidakakonbu tsukudani. The meat shumai was juicy and delicious, and mixing the soup with the rice at the end was a great way to finish the meal. It was delicious, and I finished every last drop. The Chuka Soba was tasty, but the shumai was also delicious, and the shiogama furikake and Hidakakonbu tsukudani on the white rice were a nice touch. Overall, it was a great experience!
