Welcome.---------- July 2018 ----------Along R230, next to GS and Big House, there is an in-store eatery. It's not very spacious, but there is seating available. It tends to attract older customers. The chicken skin dumplings are delicious, with a rich flavor from the chicken skin. The filling has plenty of vegetables and the black vinegar adds a nice touch. The fried chicken with black vinegar sauce is a must-try, with a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors. The oyster fry is a great deal at 2 packs for 500 yen, and even when reheated, the crispy coating and tender oysters are delicious. The pork ribs have a crunchy texture and the combination of different cuts of meat is flavorful. The vegetable skewers are a good mix of young corn and chicken thigh, and the juicy sweetness of the meat is delightful. The chicken skewers come in various cuts like breast, hormones, skin, thigh, etc., and are all delicious. The pork skewers have a juicy and flavorful fatty taste. The grilled chicken thighs with green onions are a great combination of tender meat and fresh green onions. Overall, the fried chicken and side dishes seem to be more popular than the skewers. During a visit to the TSUTAY川沿 store, I bought some White Zangi at the Big House 川沿 store across the street as a souvenir for my family. We had it for dinner together. White Zangi is a type of Zangi with salt sauce. It won the gold prize at the Karaage Grand Prix. I saw a big sticker on it, so I chose White Zangi over Salt Zangi. I couldn't really tell the difference between the two though. The White Zangi had a crispy surface, was tender inside, and came in a generous portion.

When shopping, I was drawn to "Genghis Khan Zangi". I bought it out of curiosity, but it was a bit salty and not quite satisfying. I wish it had been seasoned with Bell's sauce. The chicken breast was a bit chewy. I should have gone with the salted zangi. It's better to stick with the classics.

I went to the Big House restaurant along the river after finishing work. I was craving some food, so I went in and found that they had just opened. They had a variety of yakitori, but the fried foods were still being prepared. I really wanted to try their salted zangi. Since they didn't have it, I decided to try their takoyaki, which I had never tried before. It was a simple takoyaki with small pieces of octopus. It was nothing special. I still think the salted zangi is the best at this place. I will definitely visit another restaurant next time. Thank you, Kawazoi shop!
