I went to "Ibaraki Kinsei" in Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture. It is located just west of the west exit of Hankyu Kyoto Line Ibaraki-shi Station rotary. The shop is very convenient with its location in front of the station, continuous operation, and a municipal parking lot next to the station where you can park for 100 yen for 30 minutes. There were 3 customers before 4 pm on Saturday during the idol time. The interior layout consists of a straight counter seat x5 and 4 table seats for 3 people each. The menu includes "Special Salt" and "Ultimate Soy Sauce" for light flavors, as well as "Rich Chicken White Broth" and "Taiwanese Mixed Noodles" for rich flavors, so you won't have trouble choosing whether you belong to the light or rich flavor category (lol). I ordered the "Special Salt with Flavored Egg" for 1,000 yen. The golden clear soup is made from chicken bones and seafood. When you take a sip with a spoon, you will be surprised by the "rich umami" that contradicts the light appearance. The generous amount of flavored oil also helps to enjoy the powerful and gentle "round saltiness" that seems to have various ingredients melted in it. And the classic topping that cannot be missed in this soup is the "kaiware" (radish sprouts) at Kinsei. I have always thought this, but the youthful bitterness of the sprouts goes really well with this salt soup at Kinsei. The noodles are a high-water content type with a crunchy Pratzel-like texture. Normally, this type of noodles does not blend well with the soup, but the thinness of the noodles seems to help lift up plenty of soup as you slurp. The toppings include thinly sliced chashu with a balance of fatty sweetness and moist meat umami, a creamy flavored egg, garnished with green onions and the aforementioned kaiware. Thank you for the meal (^^)

A shop located a 1-minute walk from Hankyu Ibaraki Station West Exit. You can choose from chicken white broth, soy sauce, salt, and mixed ramen. Overall, the quality is high. Today I had the special soy sauce ramen. The soy sauce wasn't too strong and was easy to drink, and the noodles were smooth and had a pleasant texture. Each ingredient is carefully made, and you can feel that they put effort into making the ramen. So, I always have a hard time deciding which one to order. But I think I'll go with the chicken white broth next time. Thank you for the meal.

On Sunday night, I felt like eating fried rice, so I visited this restaurant. I ordered just the fried rice. It was simple but delicious. It's conveniently located near the train station and stays open fairly late, which is convenient. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

Rich chicken broth dipping noodles. Visited Ibaraki Kinsei, a popular Kinsei group restaurant. After watching a special feature on dipping noodles on a TV show called "Matsuko's Unknown World" a while ago, I was in the mood for dipping noodles.
- Rich chicken broth dipping noodles with flavored egg: 1,100 yen
- Large serving: 150 yen
The restaurant has been renovated this year and looks very clean. The large serving of dipping noodles is 300g, with thick and chewy medium noodles that go well with the rich chicken broth. Maybe they could improve the presentation of the noodles and the way the egg is placed to make it look more visually appealing. The presentation of the noodles and the beauty of the dish are important.
I ordered a soup refill at the end, and it came in a sake decanter. The dipping noodles were very delicious. I felt like the 300g serving was quite generous. 23rd meal of the year, 170th bowl.

I visited "Ibaraki Kinsei" in Ibaraki, Osaka, after eating at a horse meat butcher in Ibaraki. Even though I had just eaten, I felt hungry again.
I tried their Special Rich Chicken White Broth Ramen priced at 1150 yen. Just as the name suggests, it was a rich chicken white broth ramen! The broth coated the noodles perfectly, and with each bite, the rich flavor of the chicken white broth spread in my mouth. Despite being rich, it wasn't too heavy! The Naruto topping reminded me of Ramen No. 8 and was delicious. Ahhh, it was so tasty!

After work, I tried a ramen that I don't usually eat! It was around 10pm on a weekday, but there were a lot of people. I ordered a basic salted egg ramen. I'm not a ramen enthusiast, so I didn't compare it to others, but it was simply delicious. I tried the soup first and my first impression was "It's not too rich! Great for women. The flavor is strong but mild." I finished it quickly (laughs). Topped it with lots of green onions~

I tried the recommended "Specialty Salt Ramen for 880 yen" at this restaurant! When I visited on a holiday afternoon, there was a line outside. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I was seated at a table. *If you have a student ID, you can get extra noodles or a flavored egg for free. The age range of customers was varied, and there were even solo female diners. The taste was refreshing, with the soup clinging to the noodles making it very delicious. This is something that even women can enjoy! This restaurant also serves cold ramen. I would like to try that next time...

I generally keep my comments short for negative reviews, but personally, I must say that I had some difficulties understanding the current rating points... There seemed to be a problem with the plumbing, as there was a smell of sewage near the tables by the register... Also, the way the eggs were cut, the quality of the noodles... and the cleanliness of the dishes... Unfortunately, I will not be revisiting...

Extreme Soy Sauce Ramen for 850 yen. I stopped by after work for a quick drink in Ibaraki and found this place near the station. It's open late, accepts various payment methods, and has a clean and spacious interior. I mean, the fact that you can eat ramen of this quality in Ibaraki City is just too enticing. I should have gone for the Chicken White Broth Ramen though. I didn't expect anything other than Mazesoba, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I feel like eating ramen at Ibuki Kitanten. But it's hot. I want to avoid hot soup. There is a way called tsukemen. The noodles are smooth. Dip them in the broth. Slurp it all up. The kitchen staff is rude to the waitresses. It makes me feel uncomfortable. They bring the bill right after you finish eating.

Visited around 12:00 on Sunday. Was able to enter the restaurant without waiting. Ordered the chicken white broth tsukemen. It was served within a few minutes. The rich chicken white broth soup paired well with the slightly thin but firm noodles. It was consistently delicious tsukemen.

I visited during lunchtime and there was no wait. I ordered tsukemen with extra green onions. The soup was very watery and the noodles came in a clump. It seemed like they had been sitting for a while. The taste was good, but it's hard to find a hit at a Kinseiken Group restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant after researching for a good place to eat in the area. I chose a highly rated ramen shop and was impressed with the food. The parking was a bit expensive at 400 yen, but the food made up for it. I ordered the rich chicken broth mixed noodles with flavored egg and extra rice, as well as the specialty salt ramen with seasoned egg. Both dishes were delicious and the eggs were especially tasty. The noodles were rich and flavorful, and the meat was cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place for ramen lovers, and I look forward to coming back again.

I stopped by on my way back from a farewell party. I had soy sauce ramen, 2 pieces of fried chicken, and a bottle of beer. I stopped by for a little food and drink to finish off the night. The soup was delicious as always, light and tasty, and the noodles were firm with a smooth surface, making them easy to swallow. I will definitely visit again.

I visited around 10:30 on Wednesday and was able to be seated without waiting. I was tempted by the seasonal cold ramen, but I chose the chicken white broth with egg topping. The noodles, egg, bamboo shoots, and chashu were perfect, but today the soup tasted a bit salty. It may have been adjusted to be stronger due to the heat.

I visited the restaurant around 1:30 pm, and despite the crowd, I was seated at the counter without having to wait. I ordered the limited "Chilled Shrimp Salt Ramen" (900 yen) due to the hot weather. The bowl was topped with chashu, menma, chopped green onions, and kaiware, and the soup was clear and golden in color. When I tried the soup, the aroma of shrimp spread gently, and the light yet flavorful saltiness enhanced the umami of the chicken and seafood. The soup was not ice-cold but pleasantly cool. The noodles were flat and chewy, with a good balance of wheat flavor and smoothness. The chashu, made from pork shoulder loin, was rich in meaty flavor and melted slowly in the mouth. This chilled ramen was a delicious choice for the hot season, showcasing the tasty soup and well-balanced saltiness that Kinseisan is known for.

I had some errands in Ibaraki, so my son and I, who both love tsukemen, went there together. Since there was no parking lot, we parked at a nearby parking area. The restaurant was not crowded as it was Sunday evening. My son prefers tsukemen, so we ordered different kinds. He had the large serving of Japanese-style salt tsukemen, while I had the large serving of chicken white broth tsukemen with seasoned egg. After trying each other's dishes, we both agreed that the chicken white broth tsukemen was delicious. In the end, we swapped, and I had the Japanese-style salt tsukemen. The noodles seemed to be the same. If you're going to go here, you might want to try a tsukemen shop that you haven't been to yet.

"Ibaraki Kinsei" visited the restaurant for the first time since October 7th last year. I ordered the Chicken Paitan Mazesoba with extra rice for 900 yen. I arrived around 11:30 and the bowl was served in about 6 minutes. The toppings included two types of chashu, green onions, kaiware radish sprouts, menma bamboo shoots, garlic, seaweed, and fried onions. The noodles were homemade medium straight noodles. This is the only place at Kinsei where you can have the default option of chicken paitan. I mixed everything well from the bottom of the bowl and started eating. The garlic packed a punch and combined well with the rich chicken paitan broth, soy sauce, and the chashu pork belly was sweet and well seasoned, while the lean chashu was moist and had a satisfying texture. The crunch of the menma bamboo shoots, the umami of the seaweed, and the spiciness of the kaiware radish sprouts added great accents. I finished by adding the rice and enjoyed every last bite and sip. It was delicious - thank you for the meal!

"I visited Ibaraki Kinsei in front of Ibaraki City Station and tried their "Rich Chicken White Broth Mazesoba" for 900 yen. The sauce is a thick soy sauce-based sauce with chicken white broth, giving a rich and junky flavor with a good amount of garlic. The homemade medium-thick straight noodles have a good chewy texture. The chashu includes two types of pork cuts, each with a delicious taste. The dish also includes various toppings like kaiware, chopped seaweed, menma, green onions, fried onions, bonito flakes, and pork cuts. You can choose to add garlic or not. They offer free rice to finish your meal, and you can adjust the flavor with pepper and chili oil on the table."

During weekdays for lunch, there is a famous ramen chain in the northern part of Osaka without long lines. Their representative dish is a rich and creamy soup that clings well to the medium-thick smooth noodles. Even if you eat it normally, there is almost no soup left, but strangely it doesn't feel heavy. That's the charm of it. However, it may not be addictive, but it's the kind of dish that you will remember and crave after some time.笑

I went to Ekimaru in Umeda because I was curious about it. I was indecisive but ended up choosing the simple salt ramen. The mazesoba was recommended, but I didn't feel like trying it. The soup was light and not too flavorful, just a normal salty taste. It was delicious, but I didn't feel the urge to eat it again. Maybe I made the wrong choice.
