I rode my bike a little to the east and arrived around 3:00 PM. The place was about 30% full, and I was seated at the counter in the back. The recommended coffee was a well-balanced blend, but since I don't like bitter flavors, I chose the Mexican coffee which seemed easy to drink. I also ordered a chestnut pudding. The coffee arrived in about 9 minutes, and even though I usually don't like bitter coffee, I managed to finish it without sugar or milk, finding it easy to drink. Choosing the lightly roasted Mexican coffee was definitely the right decision, it was delicious. The pudding arrived about a minute later and was quite rich, but it tasted great with some cream on top. I paid with cash, 1210 yen, and left the place satisfied.

A small cafe in Minami Horie, Osaka. The cozy atmosphere is filled with the gentle aroma of coffee. I had been curious about this place for a while, and finally had the chance to visit today after lunch. However, it was a quick visit as I ordered takeout. I got an iced coffee, which was carefully brewed by the female owner(?). It seemed like she took care to ensure that the ice didn't dilute the flavor. It was delicious, but at 610 yen, it was a bit pricey for an iced coffee (^_^*). I imagine the experience would be completely different if I were to sit inside and enjoy a hot coffee with some baked goods.

The interior of the restaurant was very quiet, with many customers dining alone. There were 8 seats at the counter and 2 tables. The coffee was delicious (decaf Colombian), and the iced coffee was also tasty. Most of the cakes were sold out. The classic cake I tried was not to my liking, it was dense, moist, and had a hint of alcohol, with a retro Showa era taste. The fruit cake was light and fluffy.

I learned about this shop from cafe-sweets, which I used to read a long time ago. I visited once 7 years ago because the owner's baked sweets looked very delicious, but I haven't had the opportunity to go back since then. (The first time I visited, they only offered takeout, and the second time I didn't have cash on me so I had to give up.) Today, I came to Horie for the first time in a while, so I decided to stop by around 4 pm. I was glad to be seated at a table. Unfortunately, the shop's popular Baum (buttercream roll cake) was sold out, but I ordered custard pudding, fruit cake, cookies, Veck blend coffee, and iced coffee. The dishes were beautifully presented. The fruit cake was moist and sweet, which I liked, the cookies were crispy and simply delicious, and the custard pudding was smooth and very tasty. The coffee paired well with the desserts, and I was able to savor them slowly. The atmosphere of the shop was also nice. I would like to visit again. ★ Payment by cash only

I used to frequent a bike shop near here, so I've always been curious about this store. From the outside, it looked a bit dark inside, which made me a little hesitant to go in. But once I entered, I was surprised to find that it was actually quite bright inside! I thought it would just be a counter-only shop, but there were also table seats. I ordered the Honey Cold and the Baum. The Baum had a bit of unexpected flavor to it.

I visited around 12 o'clock on Sunday. The small restaurant had around 10 seats, and although it was full when I passed by before, there were seats available this day. There were many types of coffee available, but I chose the medium-dark Vague Blend, and had a Baum cake. I was able to spend a quiet and relaxing time. The coffee was easy to drink. I would like to visit again.

Cafe Weg is located on the left side, two streets to the south after turning east at the third signal south of the intersection of Nagahori Street and Amidaike-suji Street (Shirahige Bridge). It is a cafe where you can enjoy sweets, such as Mexican coffee, Baum cake, and three types of cookies. The coffee has a beautiful acidity and sweetness, with a refreshing aroma. The reviewer, who used to love coffee and cigarettes in his 30s but recently quit smoking, enjoyed the coffee very much. Unfortunately, the pudding was sold out. The reviewer also mentioned that the cafe was full on weekends around 5 p.m., so they had to wait a bit before entering.

The owner of the Italian blend cafe is lovely, and the atmosphere of the place is very nice. They have a wide variety of coffee options, and I enjoy trying different ones. They also have a selection of cakes, but my favorite is the Supreme. Today, they were sold out of it, so I just had coffee.

Our dining chairs at home are quite worn out, so we went to South Horie to look for replacements. While we were there, we decided to stop by Cafe Weg, a place we had checked out online. The cafe is located a few blocks north of the bustling Orange Road. We were lucky to secure the last available seat as the place seemed quite busy. The cafe was run by a single woman who efficiently handled everything from grinding and brewing coffee to taking orders and serving cakes. We ordered a Chocolat de Nancy, Vittel, Cafe au Lait, and Hot Milk, all at very reasonable prices. The Chocolat de Nancy was a hazelnut and chocolate sponge cake, while the Vittel was a rich and delicious chocolate meringue and cream dessert. The coffee was a bit weak for my taste, but next time I'll opt for the option to double the coffee beans for just an extra 100 yen. My wife enjoyed her hot milk, which paired well with the chocolate treats. The service was friendly and efficient, and we look forward to returning to Cafe Weg in the future, hopefully for another round of Vittel. Thank you for a lovely experience!

A cafe located about 7 minutes from Nishi-Ohashi Station on the Osaka Metro Nagahori Tsurumi-Ryokuchi Line. It's easier to find following the directions on Tabelog. There are two four-person tables in addition to the counter. I sat at the counter and ordered a Perú El Pargo for 540 yen. There was one customer before me and no one after. The background music was piano music playing softly. When I tried the Perú El Pargo, it had a slightly different impression from the one I had before, with a refreshing and sharp taste. I had thought the beans would have a mellow, sweet taste, but they were different here. Thank you for the meal.

I walked from Nishi-Nagahori Station on the Osaka Metro to a highly rated coffee shop. I visited for the first time on a holiday night. The shop has a counter with 5 seats and 2 tables for 4 people. The staff is a female master. The menu offers a variety of coffees and cakes. Taking photos of the menu is not allowed, but taking photos of the items is okay. The Sachertorte costs 600 yen (tax included): a dome-shaped chocolate cake with a crispy outer layer of black chocolate. Inside the chocolate layer and sponge is a layer of apricot jam. It is served with rich cream. The aroma of apricot is pleasant. The Mexico Light Roast costs 560 yen: a coffee served on a light green plate. It has a strong fruity flavor with no bitterness, typical of a light roast. The Sachertorte and coffee were very delicious. I thought it was a coffee lover's paradise.

I visited Cafe Weg in Nishi-ku, Osaka. It is located about a 7-minute walk from Nishinagahori Station on the Osaka Metro Chitose Line. The cafe is situated across from Takashibashi Park, with a coffee logo making it easy to spot. Inside, you can see the roasting machine, and the atmosphere is simple and cozy. I tried the following items:
- Dark Roast Coffee: Rich and deep flavor with low acidity. It has a clean finish.
- Vienna-style Mont Blanc: Only available on weekends, this cake features a base similar to Sachertorte, topped with chestnut cream, chocolate, and whipped cream. The chestnut cream has a strong chestnut flavor, the chocolate part is slightly sweet, and the whipped cream is not too sweet, making it a perfect match with coffee. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a coffee shop in Horie that has a good reputation. It is located facing a children's park, near the central library. They roast their own beans and carefully select them to achieve a clear taste. They had my favorite Peruvian coffee, which is sweet, fragrant, and has a nice aftertaste. However, this time I found it lacking sweetness and too bland for my liking. Maybe I prefer the complexity of flavors found in other coffees. The cup and saucer were simple and lightweight, costing around 4000 yen per set according to Myレビ. The sharp and thin cup might have enhanced the sharpness of the coffee. Unfortunately, this coffee shop did not match my preferences. I ordered a coffee (Peru) for 540 yen and a custard pudding for 490 yen.

Cafe Weg is a cafe located near Takadai Bridge Park in Minami Horie. The area is dotted with stylish shops, making it a fun place to walk around. The cafe itself has a cozy atmosphere, with a counter on the right side and table seating in the back. The coffee menu is divided into categories like "light roast," "medium roast," "medium-dark roast," and "dark roast," each offering 2-4 types to choose from. I ordered the "Soft Blend" from the light roast category, which had a soft aroma and a smooth, slightly acidic taste. They also offer iced coffee, cappuccino, and tea. For food, they have a variety of pastries and sandwiches, including a delicious custard pudding served with caramel sauce and whipped cream. The pudding had a perfect balance of sweetness and texture, complementing the coffee well. Overall, Cafe Weg in Minami Horie is a highly recommended cafe to visit.

Today, the legendary food blogger Haramin returned to Osaka! On a day like this, the only option is to take the afternoon off and indulge in eating. I joined Haramin and his group in the afternoon after they had been enjoying delicious food since the morning. We met at a café in Minami Horie called cafe Weg. We arrived at around 2 pm. There were two other customers already there. As soon as we entered, we could smell the aroma of freshly roasted coffee from the in-house roasting machine. After carefully looking at the menu, I was intrigued by the chestnut pudding. I ordered the following:
[Food]
- Chestnut Pudding 510 yen
[Drink]
- Iced Coffee 530 yen
Chestnut Pudding:
The pudding was a brown color with a firm texture. When scooped with a spoon, it felt substantial. Upon tasting it, there was a chewy texture similar to yokan (sweet jelly made from red bean paste). It had a rich chestnut flavor with almost no egg taste. The sweetness was slightly strong. It felt more like a rich chestnut dessert than a traditional pudding. The caramel sauce on top was also quite intense.
Iced Coffee:
It had a slightly acidic and refreshing flavor. It paired well with the strong chestnut pudding.
In the quiet atmosphere, surrounded by the pleasant aroma of coffee, it was a nice café time. It was a good experience. Thank you for the meal. Now, let's move on to the next restaurant!

The second time I visited this cafe was on a Sunday evening when thick white clouds were descending. I wanted to end the day with the most delicious coffee at this cafe. As I entered, it seemed like a war had just taken place, with cups left on tables where customers had just been. The female owner seemed a bit overwhelmed, probably due to a busy Sunday. Unfortunately, the chestnut pudding I wanted to try was sold out. Setting aside desserts, I pondered what to drink. I already knew this cafe served delicious coffee from my previous visit. Last month, I even visited the owner's mentor's cafe and was impressed. Though there were no desserts, I wanted to end the day with a rich, heavy coffee to relax. I noticed the "Italian Blend," which I had never tried before, and decided to order it. I worried it might just be too strong and bitter. However, I had a feeling this cafe wouldn't disappoint. The richness turned into a deep, bold flavor that spread thickly and smoothly. It ended with a refreshing finish. I wanted to compliment the female roaster, but the cafe suddenly filled with solo female customers. It was a cozy atmosphere with regulars chatting with the owner. It made me wish I lived closer so I could visit this cafe weekly and become a regular myself. It was a moment of undeniable richness and enjoyment.

On Friday at 4:00 PM, I went to Cafe Vaque in Nishi-ohashi. The café smelled of good coffee. There was a woman sitting alone. I ordered a cup of medium-dark roasted "Guatemala" coffee for 510 yen. Inside the counter, I saw a small coffee mill from BONMAC. There were about 12 bottles of coffee beans on the shelf. After grinding with the mill, they carefully brewed the coffee with a drip. It arrived in 6 minutes. I took a sip. It was delicious. The coffee was perfectly roasted, with a mild bitterness and acidity, making it easy to drink. It was just the right coffee for me. You could tell it was brewed with care. I sat at the counter, so unfortunately, I couldn't take photos of the menu or the interior of the shop, but it's a compact and cozy place. There is a park right next to it, creating a very calm atmosphere in the area. It seems like they have many good customers. Thank you for the meal.

On weekends, the morning should start at the café "Mornings" in Nishiohashi Station area, but it's hard to find the kind of cozy local café I'm looking for. This particular café opens at 10 am, but they don't have the typical "morning menu" like toast sets. I ordered a Kenya AA coffee for 540 yen (tax included). I was curious about what "AA" meant, so I looked it up online. It turns out that AA refers to the largest coffee bean size, ensuring better quality. Kenyan coffee is known for its acidity and is usually enjoyed with a light roast. The staff, a single woman, would taste a bit of the coffee before serving it to customers, which I found impressive. Overall, the coffee was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This is a popular cafe located in Nishi Nagahori. The owner has experience working at popular bakeries such as "Comme Chinois" in Kobe and the famous cafe "Cafe Bach" in Minami Senju. I visited around 3pm on a weekday and was able to enter without waiting in line.
I ordered the Veck Blend (¥490) and the Baum (¥400). The blend had a deep richness with a hint of bitterness, but overall it had a refreshing acidity that stood out. The Baum was a familiar butter milk cake from "Cafe Bach," but this version was denser and had a creamier sweetness. It paired well with the coffee. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

On weekends, around 10:30 in the morning. It was not crowded.
Next to the park, there is a small café. It has a quiet and cozy appearance, with a calm interior.
There is a large roasting machine inside. It seems like they roast coffee there every day.
The staff is quiet and attentive. It's a perfect space for reading a book.
The coffee selection is wide and prices vary.
I chose a coffee with a sharp taste and fruity aroma. It was easy to drink with an elegant flavor.
I also had three types of cookies. They were quite simple and had a homemade taste.
I had a peaceful tea time. Thank you for the meal.
