It has been one year since I changed my car, so I am at the car dealership for the one-year maintenance. While waiting, I walked to "YAMACHAN" in front of Noda-Hanshin Station. I noticed a "NO NOODLE NO LIFE sticker" on the top of the refrigerator, which was a good sign. Although I was curious about the limited menu, I ordered the "Pret a Manger"! The restaurant was already full with a waiting line outside when I arrived, but my dish arrived in about 10 minutes. The chicken white broth without any fishy taste was full of umami, and the bean sprouts added a nice touch. The large rare chashu, tender and packed with meaty flavor, was perfect for dipping in the hot soup. The medium-thick straight noodles for the Pret a Manger had a great texture, and I enjoyed every bite. It was delicious as always! This was my 186th bowl of ramen this year.

I walked in the heat aiming for a seafood bowl, but arrived late due to a busy morning and they were sold out, so I ended up having ramen two days in a row. The simple Chinese soba with chewy noodles is a type I like, with a gentle and flavorful soup. I enjoy it with the generous amount of wasabi on top, slowly melting it in. But whether you add it or not, it's delicious, so maybe it's better to add it when you're about halfway through. However, having ramen two days in a row, I think I'm good for a while now haha. (Just realized I had Champon on Friday too, no wonder haha)

Actually, I'm not a big fan of miso ramen, but this shop seems to recommend their miso ramen. After reading the reviews on Tabelog, it was suggested to try the miso ramen. I had the miso ramen for 950 yen and added a flavored egg for 100 yen. It wasn't overwhelmingly miso-flavored, making it very easy for me to eat. The curly noodles were not too thick, which was great for someone like me who prefers thinner noodles. The onions and minced meat blended well with the soup, giving a satisfying taste similar to tantanmen. The thick-cut chashu was incredibly tender and easily cut with chopsticks. It was delicious. After this experience, I no longer dislike miso ramen. They also offer ramen other than miso, so I would like to try those next time. Thank you for the meal!

On September 4, 2023, I visited a ramen shop for lunch near my workplace. The shop had been beloved in the "Fukuroji Shotengai" under the JR Kobe Line viaduct next to JR Fukushima Station, but it moved to this new location on October 1, 2021. Despite being two years since the relocation, the interior of the shop was still sparkling clean as if it had just opened. I sat at the end of the counter and looked over the menu. While they had a summer limited edition cold ramen, their signature dishes seemed to be the shoyu ramen and miso ramen. I ordered the "Spicy Miso Ramen" and the "Rice Set." The soup is made from a pork base with a blend of specially made miso from Hokkaido and Nagano, and the spiciness is balanced with the rich umami of miso. The curly noodles made from 100% domestic wheat "Haru yo Koi" by the famous noodle maker from Hokkaido, "Nishiyama Seimen," carried the soup generously into my mouth. The pork belly with just the right amount of fat, along with bean sprouts, wood ear mushrooms, and sliced onions, complemented the soup perfectly. The "Abundant Ramen" is made with soy sauce aged for two years from Ehime Prefecture and features chewy medium-straight noodles, with wasabi from the mountains added to it. I chose the "Rice Set," but later found out that the "Wasabi Rice Set," which comes with Hokkaido's traditional dish of wasabi rice, is highly recommended. I'll try that set next time. #Ebie #Ramen #YAMACHAN

The first time I tried the rich pork bone ramen at this shop, I was impressed. The second time, I had a limited edition dish which was also delicious. This time, for my third visit, I went back to the original rich pork bone ramen. I ordered the special rich pork bone ramen with extra wasabi, and the wasabi rice. Both dishes had wasabi in them, so I was satisfied with the double wasabi. The portions were generous, and I felt like my stomach was going to burst, haha.

Foodlog overall rating 3.63 Date of visit: Thursday, August 17, 2023, 7:05 PM Ordered: - Summer limited edition: Chilled green tea ramen for 1,100 yen + Wasabi rice for 200 yen - Summer limited edition: Chilled dipping noodles (200g) for 1,100 yen Once again, I arrived at the perfect time and was seated immediately without having to wait. The restaurant was full, with a constant flow of customers coming in and out. The chilled green tea ramen had flat, medium-thin straight noodles that were smooth and had a nice chewy texture. The soup went beyond the typical ramen broth and had an amazing Japanese dashi flavor. The wasabi rice at the end was served warm, which complemented the soup perfectly and added a different level of deliciousness to the meal. The chilled dipping noodles were similar in quality. The noodles were delicious, and the dipping sauce had a unique Japanese dashi flavor with a mix of sweetness and bitterness that made it incredibly tasty. Although the portion size was 200g, it was quite filling and satisfying. Before visiting, I was hesitant due to the wide range of menu options, which gave off a chain restaurant vibe. However, after reading the reviews and seeing the high ratings, I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. The reviews were spot on, and I now understand why many customers keep coming back. I am eager to try other items on the menu as well. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, but each one is crafted with skill and care, resulting in incredibly delicious meals. The service was average, but the food quality definitely stood out. I am already planning my next visit to try more items on the menu.

"I finally made it! Having lunch ramen at YAMACHAN, which opened near my company♪ Due to an unusually busy schedule, I had to take a break from posting on Tabelog for about 2 months. (>_<) But things have calmed down quite a bit, so I'm slowly resuming now. On October 1st, a ramen shop opened near my favorite okonomiyaki restaurant "Anbaransu" where I often stop by after work. The new ramen shop, "YAMACHAN," is located under the overpass near JR Fukushima Station. I took a seat at the counter in front of the kitchen and placed my order. ・豊潤 Special Chinese Soba... 1,100 yen (tax included) There are two types of soy sauce, "豊潤" and "淡麗." There are also chicken white broth, "Prettamuah," "miso," and "spicy miso." I ordered the "豊潤" with extra seasoned egg and meat as a "special." When the bowl arrived, it looked delicious with a seasoned egg, white leeks, bean sprouts, and plenty of rare char siu on top. But wait, there was a mysterious object grated on top of the char siu!! The staff explained that it was grated wasabi on top of the char siu and suggested mixing it well before eating. I wonder if wasabi goes well with it? My partner doesn't like wasabi, so they quickly scooped it onto a small plate with a spoon. Let's dig in! First, I took a sip of the soup... Oh! The soy sauce soup is delicious with a slight hint of sweetness. Now, let's slurp the noodles... The flat straight noodles have a good texture, specially ordered from Mineya Food Industry. Hmm, I prefer thinner noodles, but these are okay. The seasoned egg and rare char siu are really tasty, I'm glad I ordered the special! I tried mixing in the wasabi halfway through for some flavor change. Hmm, it's not very spicy, and it has a slightly grassy taste... it might be a matter of personal preference, but it doesn't really suit my taste. ・Fried Rice Set... 450 yen (tax included) You can have fried rice with your favorite ramen for an additional 450 yen. The fried rice had chunky char siu and leeks, but I forgot to take a picture, so I can't remember the rest. The rice was a bit soft, but it was delicious. ・Light Soy Sauce Seasoned Egg Chinese Soba... 900 yen (tax included) My partner ordered this. It looks similar to my "豊潤" except for the smaller amount of char siu. Oh! The soup is lighter in color. They said, "It was so delicious!" Maybe I'll try this next time. At YAMACHAN, I paid at my seat. Along with the change, I received a 50 yen discount coupon for my next lunch. How thoughtful! As I left, I noticed a sign outside saying, "Authentic Sapporo Directly Imported Noodles Miso Ramen." Miso, huh? Miso sounds good too... I'll have a hard time deciding next time I come. Thank you for the wonderful meal!"

Chilled Tsukemen 200g for ¥1100. It looks refreshing and has a light yet flavorful seafood soup with wasabi as a nice accent. I'm interested in trying their Cold Green Tea Ramen and other regular menu items, so I will definitely visit again!

At lunchtime on a regular day, I went to JR Ebine Station. After exiting from the number 2 exit, I crossed the national highway and walked north for about 2 minutes to arrive. There were two 4-person tables in the front and a counter with seating for 5 people in the back, with the back wall being close. After being seated and placing an order, I waited a bit and then my bowl of ramen arrived. The soup was a light brown color made from pork broth and miso, combining the umami of pork with a rich, fragrant miso flavor. It was delicious and not too heavy, easy to drink with a light spiciness and a deep flavor profile. The pea sprouts provided a crunchy texture and were a good palate cleanser. The thick pork belly had a firm bite and allowed me to enjoy the rich flavor of the meat. The medium-thick curly noodles were smooth and had a chewy texture that paired well with the soup, offering plenty of umami. The miso ramen was flavorful and easy to eat, with a mild aftertaste that I enjoyed. Next time, I would like to try the "豊潤中華そば" (Tsuyomin Chuka Soba). Thank you for the meal.

On a hot day in July, I was craving noodles but not ramen, so I was invited to this restaurant that serves cold dipping noodles. The noodles and dipping sauce were both ice cold. It was refreshing and really helped cool me down. I ordered 400g which was a bit too much, but the flavor was top-notch. They also have other limited edition menu items and a variety of ramen options, so I'll try something different next time.

The restaurant is located about a 2-3 minute walk northwest from Exit 2 of Noda-Hanshin Station on the Osaka Metro. Inside the restaurant, there are two 4-person tables near the entrance and five counter seats towards the back. I had the miso ramen and Tamago Kake Gohan (raw egg over rice) set. The ramen arrived shortly, with toppings of chashu pork, bean sprouts, green onions, and shredded chili pepper. The noodles were medium thickness and slightly wavy. The miso soup, with ground meat and onions, had a rich miso flavor that gradually soaked in. The noodles slid smoothly into the soup. The chashu pork, bean sprouts, and green onions complemented the ramen well. I added some shichimi spice halfway through for a bit of heat. The Tamago Kake Gohan had a raw egg on top of rice with bonito flakes. I mixed it together, added soy sauce, and enjoyed the light and fluffy texture. I look forward to returning to try a different ramen flavor. Thank you for the meal.

I had miso ramen and fried rice. The miso ramen was rich and I really liked the flavor. The noodles were medium thickness and had a texture similar to egg noodles, which paired well with the miso broth! The fried rice was also well-seasoned. I thought the prices might be high, but when I saw the portion sizes, I understood. Both dishes were delicious and I would like to come back to this restaurant again.

I had a basic soy sauce ramen and also tried the chilled Chinese noodles with tea version, which had delicious broth. I'd like to try that next time. They also serve beer and small dishes, which would be appealing to have a drink on the way out. The chashu pork was delicious, and it came with pea sprouts and Japanese horseradish.

YAMACHAN offers soy sauce ramen with mountain wasabi! It is located within walking distance from Ebinoe Station and Noda Station, and used to be in Moto-Fukushima Station. The restaurant opens at 11:30 am, and I visited around 11:40 am on a Sunday. There was one customer already there, and a few more arrived later. The miso ramen seems to be popular, but I ordered the "Houjun" ramen for 900 yen and the fried rice set for 500 yen, totaling 1400 yen. The ramen was surprisingly light with a special soy sauce that gives it a nice kick. When you dissolve the mountain wasabi while eating, the soup gradually becomes more flavorful. The noodles are square-cut, medium-thin, and chewy. The chashu is rare and tender, and the pickled vegetables add a nice touch. There is also a shichimi spice for flavor variation. The fried rice is simple and light, with plenty of chashu pieces. I was very satisfied with the meal. Next time, I would like to try the miso ramen. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I visited this shop that I was curious about for the first time. I ordered miso ramen with seasoned egg! The sign in front of the shop said that the soup is made from a blend of pork base, miso from Hokkaido and Nagano prefectures, which gives it a rich and mellow flavor that you can't stop slurping up. The medium-thick curly noodles from a noodle factory in Hokkaido have a nice chewy texture that pairs perfectly with the soup. The thick but tender chashu was also delicious! The other toppings like pea sprouts, white leeks, and chili pepper added a nice touch to the noodles. It's nice to have miso ramen once in a while. Thank you for the meal!

Visited the restaurant "YAMACHAN" that was previously featured on a Kansai local program. It seems like a popular spot for Yoshimoto comedians, so I had high expectations. After being disappointed with ramen yesterday, this meal really hit the spot. The miso ramen was of extremely high quality! I heard the fried rice is also delicious, but it's quite pricey when ordered as a set, so I had to pass. I hope to try the fried rice someday. It was so delicious - thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant on my way back home after finishing work. I ordered a light beer and grilled rice set. The light beer was refreshing with a subtle soy sauce flavor and topped with pork, green onions, bean sprouts, and mountain wasabi. The chewy noodles were a nice addition. The grilled rice was hot, fluffy, and flavorful with a generous amount of egg, seasoned pork, and chopped green onions. Despite the large portion, I finished it all quickly. It was delicious!

YAMACHAN (Osaka City, Fukushima Ward, Ebinoe) It was already 2:30 in the afternoon when I was finally released, so I decided to walk and have some Birkin, but then I stumbled upon a ramen shop. Following the rule of the upper right, the ramen cost 1200 yen, but oh well, let's give it a try. I was surprised to see that despite it being almost snack time at 2:30, more than half of the seats were already taken. I wonder how crowded it must be during lunchtime. Luckily, there were seats available at the counter, so I sat down smoothly. Looking at the menu, there were options like "Rich", "Light", "Pret a Manger", "Miso", and "Spicy Miso". I asked for the Pret a Manger, which seemed to be chicken white broth. The ramen was served in about 5 minutes, quite speedy. The redness of the chashu, the whiteness of the soup, the green of the garnish, it was colorful. The soup was quite thick and rich. I savored every last drop. The chashu was delicious, skillfully sealing in the flavor of the meat. (March 29, 2023) YAMACHAN Osaka City, Fukushima Ward, Ebinoe 2-2-12 Phone number not available
