Today's lunch was at Nogouchiyo-dai. It's a support lunch for a restaurant that is still operating despite the pandemic. I went to a place called "Chuka soba Hinokiya," located a short walk northeast from Nogouchiyo-dai subway station, and tried their limited-time menu item, "Vegetable-packed Curry Champon." It had been a while since I last visited "Hinokiya." Now, about the "Vegetable-packed Curry Champon," it is a limited-time menu item available only in December. The soup is a chicken broth-based regular ramen soup with added curry paste. The noodles are medium-thick, and the toppings include pork, squid, shrimp, cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, thinly sliced kamaboko and narutomaki, as well as green onions, menma, and fried onions on top. Additionally, garam masala (curry powder) was sprinkled on top. It was truly a "vegetable-packed" champon. I noticed that pork lard was floating on the surface of the soup, adding richness and flavor. The curry flavor was not too spicy or overpowering, making it a perfectly balanced Curry Champon. Although the "Vegetable-packed Curry Champon" was a limited-time menu available until December 17th, new items like "Vegetable-packed Nagasaki Champon," "Vegetable-packed Miso Champon," and "Stamina Garlic Champon" were introduced on the menu. I definitely need to go back to Hinokiya to try their Champon dishes again. The Vegetable-packed Curry Champon was incredibly delicious!

Tonkotsu and dried sardine mixed soba with minced cutlet topping for 900 yen. Finished with cheese rice for 100 yen. Visited for weekday lunch, no waiting. A flavor I've never experienced before with the combination of pork and dried sardines. It doesn't have a strong punch, but it is a delicious mixed soba with a well-rounded flavor. The minced cutlet doesn't really match the noodles, but it goes well with the cheese rice at the end. Cheese and minced meat are a good combination. Perfect for when you want to have a fried dish but don't want to order an extra one. I always look forward to coming back for the variety of delicious ramen dishes that change monthly and daily!

Today's Ramen Today, I had to go near Noe for some errands, so for lunch, I tried the "Chukasoba Hinokiya" shop's special limited "Back Fat and Boiled Dried Sardine Pork Belly Ramen". It was delicious with the umami of the boiled dried sardines, the richness of the back fat, and 4 slices of pork belly. The medium-thick flat noodles had a good chewiness and texture, which I personally enjoyed. It was a delicious meal. Thank you for the meal.

The main dishes at this restaurant are chicken-based Chinese noodles and chicken and dried fish Chinese noodles, but the highlight of the day is the "Dad's Whim Limited Edition" menu announced in the morning, which I always check on social media before starting my day. Today's special was the "Bamboo Ring, Chicken Breast Tempura, Pork Curry Ramen." The monthly mixed noodles also feature unexpected toppings like fried foods, making it a unique menu. This month's special was the "Pork and Dried Fish Mixed Noodles with Sauce Minced Cutlet Topping." I'll share the photo here. I always look forward to the interesting surprises and hope for the return of Champon and Miso Champon.

I finally got to try the Black Ramen with bonito flakes at Chinatown Hinokiya! This restaurant helped me a lot when I first started my own shop. I remember their struggles when they opened about half a year before me. I was hesitant at first because I usually find Black Ramen in the Kanto region too salty, making it hard to finish the soup and noodles. But I decided to give it a try, and I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing aroma of the Black Ramen with bonito flakes. The soup wasn't just salty, but had a strong bonito flavor that I really enjoyed. The noodles were also great, not overpowering the soup but complementing it well. The pork char siu was cooked perfectly, and I actually finished the whole bowl of soup for the first time with Black Ramen. It was so delicious! I'm grateful for the connection and I can't wait to go back. I also want to check out some disability support services in Osaka while I'm there.

Today I had a follow-up examination at Kansai Medical University for cancer treatment, so I took the day off from work. For lunch, I went to a popular ramen shop called B.M. I parked my car in a coin parking lot right near the shop and arrived around noon. The shop was long and narrow, with about 10 counter seats towards the back where the kitchen was located. There were four other customers already there. The shop owner is known for creating monthly limited edition menus, showing dedication to their craft. However, this time I opted for the standard menu, choosing the "Salt Ramen" and a side of rice. The dish arrived promptly and to my surprise, it was filled with clams! The clam broth soup was delicious as expected, with a rich clam flavor that was still gentle and smooth. The straight thin noodles were cooked perfectly, and the chashu (roasted pork) came in two varieties - chicken breast and pork loin. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. The soup paired well with the white rice, and I even poured the remaining soup over the rice to finish every last bit. It was a delightful meal.

At JR Noe Station for lunch on a regular day. It seems to be about a 5-minute walk from Noe-Uchidai Station or Keihan Noe Station, heading north along the JR railway line and turning right onto a main road where the restaurant is located on the right. Inside the restaurant, there are two rows of straight counters where 8 people and 3 people can sit, with a sofa seat for waiting on the far right of the counter. After taking a seat at the counter, you order from the staff and wait a bit before your bowl of ramen is served. The clear broth is made from chicken and pork broth combined with seafood and salt sauce, giving it a transparent appearance with a subtle saltiness that enhances the umami of the animal-based ingredients. Despite its appearance, it is rich in flavor and delicious. The medium-thin noodles have a good chewy texture, making it easy to slurp up. The chicken breast and pork shoulder chashu have a delicious meaty flavor that complements the soup well, with seaweed and clams adding plenty of toppings. It was a hot and flavorful salt ramen. Thank you for the meal.

I had the whimsical limited saba (mackerel) broth black ramen with back fat, along with pickled mustard greens rice. The soy sauce-flavored black ramen with mackerel added had a delicious taste from the mackerel broth. The pickled mustard greens rice had a generous amount of greens, which was pleasing, but the taste was average.

The dish is full of ingredients, looks delicious and colorful. It's so appetizing! The soup is delicious with a balance of chicken broth and salt base. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles from MiyaNe Food. The char siu is made from rare pork and chicken.

I had a cold salt ramen with dried fish flakes - it was light and smooth, and I finished it quickly. The restaurant has a spacious interior with partitions, making it easy to enter. They offer a variety of ramen every day, so I want to visit again on another day to try different types of ramen. Thank you for the meal!

This ramen is light and easy to eat. It is a clam-based ramen with a delicious and elegant broth. I finally had the chance to try it and the deliciousness was doubled. There seem to be various types of ramen, but I personally like clam-based ramen.

Yes, it's ramen time at "Chukasoba Hinokiya"! I visited this restaurant in Nogata, Joto-ku, Osaka, recommended by two former ramen shop owners. There was a bit of a wait, but I was quickly seated and felt relieved. What's impressive about Hinokiya is that they have monthly and daily limited menu items in addition to their regular menu. On this day, I ordered the daily special "Oil Residue Curry Ramen" with a side of "Small Cheese Rice Set". The visual presentation was impressive, especially the huge tempura chikuwa. The soup was light with a slightly sweet and flavorful taste. The thick curly noodles had a nice chewy texture. The tempura chikuwa soaked in the curry soup added a delicious flavor. After finishing the noodles, I enjoyed the cheese rice with the remaining curry soup. It was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the feast, Hinokiya!

Second visit. Tried the limited edition Oil Kasu Black Ramen. I usually don't eat black ramen much, but since the salt ramen was so delicious last time, I had high expectations! It turned out to be a rich soy sauce flavor with a good amount of pepper, not too strong. The sweetness of the oil kasu matched well, making it a very tasty ramen! The crunchy green onions were a perfect match. The small amount of onions added a nice touch of flavor. Also ordered the Shime Mazesoba. It's a bit salty with the back fat, pepper, and the sauce at the bottom of the plate. They recommend mixing it and adding some ramen soup to eat. It's delicious. I'll be back again while checking for limited editions on Twitter.

This is my first visit. They have a lot of menu options. I saw a daily special, but I decided to go with the top menu item, the salt ramen. I usually don't prefer salt ramen, but it was incredibly delicious. It was light yet very satisfying. The flavor comes from the broth. The chashu comes in two types, tender chicken ham and seasoned chashu. The portion of noodles is quite generous. The fried chicken and croquette set meal is very filling. You can season it with curry salt or sauce. The fried chicken is crispy, and the croquette has a crunchy outer layer. I will definitely be coming back!

I decided to have a light dinner and thought of going to this ramen shop. It took me a while to find a parking spot, but I finally parked and headed inside. - Half black fried rice set 400 yen The fried rice was really spicy, which was a disappointment. I wonder if the seasoning was off? I left half of it uneaten. - Salt ramen 800 yen - Soy sauce ramen 800 yen The soy sauce ramen was very delicious. The clam and broth were clear and had a good flavor.

While passing through Dojima Street, I felt like stopping by "Hinoki-ya" for the first time in a while. With a wide range of menu options, both regular and seasonal, I had a hard time deciding, but I ended up ordering the February limited edition mixed noodles "Spicy! Pork Ham Mixed Noodles with Handmade Ham Cutlet Topping." The freshly fried ham cutlet towering on top was crispy and delicious. The curry, with a hint of Japanese flavor, was spicy and full of rich taste, coating the medium-thick noodles perfectly. It made me feel like spring had arrived with each slurp. Despite the rain outside, I enjoyed the forbidden curry noodles and felt content. After indulging in the crispy ham cutlet and slurping the noodles with gusto, I left with stains on my clothes and mask, but it was a satisfying meal that powered me through the rest of the day. This was my 59th bowl of noodles this year.

A delicious bowl with various flavors of broth! I have visited this place several times, but it had been a while since my last visit after I resumed my review activities. I arrived right when they opened in the evening, and despite being located along a main road, it is not necessarily in a prime location, yet there were already several customers waiting in line before opening. The service was relatively quick, which was surprising. I ordered the recommended Aradashi Chuka (soy sauce) set, and the various flavors of broth kept spreading in my mouth endlessly. The noodles were chewy and mixed well with the soup, making it easy to eat. Both the pork and chicken chashu were delicious. The yuzu peel floating in the soup provided a refreshing touch. I finished the rice set, but it was so delicious that I ordered an extra serving of noodles (150 yen)! I finished the soup as well and left the restaurant satisfied!

I got off at Nokeuchi Station and visited this place for lunch. I waited for about 5 minutes at a chair seat and then moved to the counter seat. I was torn between the limited Taisho Ramen and Champon, but since it was my first time, I went with the Special Soy Sauce Ramen with chicken and seafood broth. The soy sauce ramen had a smooth taste with a good flavor from the chicken chashu and rare chashu. The soup had a nice taste with clams in it. Overall, it was delicious!

On a cold day with light snow falling, I decided to take a mini adventure and explore the area by train. It was quite chilly, but I had brought an umbrella so I was prepared. I got off at JR Sekime Station, but unfortunately the restaurant I was planning to visit was closed. I decided to walk around a bit in the cold weather. Eventually, I found a place with a short line and quickly got a seat. I ordered a garlic and corn miso ramen with extra noodles. The ramen arrived promptly and looked delicious with its curly noodles. The soup had a nice flavor, although I personally prefer more vegetables in my ramen. As I ate, I found it a bit difficult to scoop up all the minced meat and corn at the bottom of the bowl. Overall, I was satisfied with the portion size and quality of the ramen. It was a satisfying meal.

I visited the restaurant around 12:40 on a regular day and it was as expected, very popular. I waited for about 10 minutes in the waiting area before being seated. Although I was intrigued by the limited menu items, I ended up ordering the classic soy sauce ramen. It was a slightly unique ramen with clams in it, but it was simply delicious.
