I got soup curry to go. In my town, due to the impact of the coronavirus, every household received 20 coupons (equivalent to 2000 yen) to support struggling restaurants and taxi companies. These coupons, called "Kitapon," provide a 100 yen discount for every 300 yen spent on takeout at registered stores and taxi rides. I don't usually get takeout, but I decided to use some before they expire. I went to a place called "Lamkana," where the building on the right is a soup curry restaurant and the left side is a beauty salon with the same name. I ordered the "Raw Lamb Soup Curry" for 1350 yen. With 4 Kitapon coupons, it came to 950 yen. The spiciness was at a medium level, with an original tomato-based soup that was slightly tangy. The soup had a good amount of spice, and the lamb meat was tender without any strong odor. It had various vegetables and eggs as toppings, and overall, it was quite delicious. This time, I got takeout to use the coupons, but I would like to dine in next time.

"Lamkana" I went to several places in Kitami and found out that the information was not accurate due to Kitami being quite remote. Next, I decided to try the takeout option for "Lamkana" soup curry. I called them, and although the phone response was not smooth or polite, I ordered the "Lam Curry No.5." They said it would be ready in 10 minutes. The soup curry was ready when I arrived. The restaurant had a nice exterior and interior, and I have passed by it during a walk before. When I messaged my partner about trying the takeout, the response was not enthusiastic. However, when I arrived to pick up the order, a friendly person handed me the soup curry. My partner was excited about the takeout and insisted on dining in next time. The soup curry was spicy, rich, and not too hot, but it did have a lingering heat that might be challenging for asthma sufferers. The meat was slightly tough but had no odor or unpleasant taste. My partner was so impressed by the dish that they fainted from excitement. It was a rockabilly experience.

Ramkana has started offering takeout service for their soup curry. I decided to try it out, but it seems like it's better to place an order in advance over the phone. I ordered the Ramberg soup curry with a spice level of 5. The container is similar to the ones used for Cocoichi curry, and rice is included in the set, so it's not possible to order without rice. It would be more convenient if they also offered the option to just order the soup for takeout. Many people probably have rice at home, and for those like me who drive back with the food, the rice and soup might end up mixing like scrambled eggs due to the car's movement. Please consider offering this option. As for the taste, it's delicious as always. The previous raw lamb was tender and tasty, but the Ramberg has a meaty texture and a generous portion. The flavorful soup pairs well with the rice. Placing a corn cob in the dish, along with the Fukujinzuke (pickles), was a perfect match.

Opposite Takae Ralls, a new restaurant has opened at the former site of Otei Teahouse. It has an interesting concept of serving soup curry and bar with a beauty salon attached. The main focus seems to be on raw lamb. The interior of the restaurant has been renovated to give it a stylish feel. The menu includes six types of soup curry, with four of them being lamb-based. Additionally, there are three options for raw lamb, beef tongue, and lamb burger lunch. The bar menu offers raw lamb, lamb shabu-shabu, and other dishes. It would be great to enjoy raw lamb and beer here in the evening. I am curious about the lamb shabu-shabu as well. I ordered the lamb burger soup curry with Ebisu soup and S-sized rice. The drink set included iced coffee. The curry looks plain at first glance, with no visible vegetables except for some watercress. Wait, I can't see the hamburger... instead, there seems to be something like raw lamb. Oh well, I love raw lamb so I'll enjoy it anyway. The soup has a common basil and umami flavor, with a slight hint of shrimp aroma, which is quite delicious. The main raw lamb is incredibly tender and tasty! I was pleasantly surprised. The spiciness level was set to the highest at 5, and while it was spicy, I could handle it. Adding a lot of chili peppers from the table enhanced the flavor. The vegetables included potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, and pumpkins, with finely chopped onions adding a crunchy accent. My friend ordered the lamb burger lunch, which came with a thick hamburger patty on a hot plate, served with namul and seaweed soup. It would be delicious if these were added to the soup curry. Overall, it was much tastier than I expected. With some improvements in presentation and additional toppings like raw lamb or chicken, it could be even better. I would definitely consider revisiting this place.

Ralls Takasakae has opened a soup curry restaurant (formerly a udon restaurant). The raw lamb soup curry is not too spicy, rated at level 4. It's really delicious. There is also a good soup curry restaurant in Kitami. The raw lamb is tender and tasty. I sprinkled some salt on it. It's delicious. It took about 50 minutes to arrive, and the service was a bit slow. I hope they get used to it soon. There was no place to put our bags or jackets, which was inconvenient. I also tried the chicken soup curry. It's delicious, but the raw lamb soup curry is still the best at this restaurant. If you love soup curry, be sure to give it a try!
